Capsule endoscopy is specialized for the observation of small intestine that is difficult to access by general endoscopy. The diagnostic procedure through capsule endoscopy consists of three stages: examination of indicant, endoscopy, and diagnosis. At this time, key information needed for diagnosis includes indicant, lesions, and suspected disease information. In this paper, these information are defined as semantic features and the extracting process is defined as semantic-based analysis. It is performed in whole capsule endoscopy. First, several symptoms of patient are checked before capsule endoscopy to get some information on suspected disease. Next, capsule endoscopy is performed by checking the suspected diseases. Finally, diagnosis is concluded by using supporting information. At this time, some association are used to conclude diagnosis. For example, there are the disease association between the symptom and the disease to identify the expected disease, and the anatomical association between the location of the lesion and supporting information. However, existing knowledge models such as MST and CEST only lists the simple term related to endoscopy and cannot consider such semantic associations. Therefore, in this paper, we propose association-based knowledge model for supporting diagnosis of capsule endoscopy. The proposed model is divided into two; a disease model and anatomical model of small intestine, interesting area(organs) of capsule endoscopy. It can effectively support diagnosis by providing key information for capsule endoscopy.
In this paper, we used the WLMS(Wavelet domain Least Mean Square) adaptive filter based on the wavelet transform to cancel grain noise. Usually, grain noise occurs in changes of the crystalline structure of metals in high temperature environment. It makes the detection of flaw difficult. The WLMS adaptive filtering algorithm establishes the faster convergence rate by orthogonalizaing the input vector of adaptive filter as compared with that of LMS adaptive filtering algorithm in time domain. We implemented the WLMS adaptive filter by using the delayed version of the primary input vector as the reference input vector and then implemented the CA-CFAR(Cell Averaging- Constant False Alarm Rate) threshold estimator. CA-CFAR threshold estimator enables to detect the flaw and back echo signals automatically. Here, we used the output signals of adaptive filter as its input signal. To Cow the statistical characteristic of ultrasonic signals corrupted by grain noise, we performed run test. The results showed that ultrasonic signals are nonstationary signal, that is, signals whose statistical properties vary with time. The performance of each filter is appreciated by the signal-to-noise ratio. After LMS adaptive filtering in time domain, SNR improves to about 2-3㏈ but after WLMS adaptive filtering in wavelet domain, SNR improves to about 4-6㏈.
This study aimed at helping elementary school students from multicultural family in boosting their self-esteem and school adjustment by conducting the program of art Counseling. The research was carried out by performing art Counseling on two first-graders from multicultural family whom I have been supervising in the class at T elementary school in G City, South Chungcheong Province. The art Counseling program employed in the study is the one the researcher developed by reorganizing the programs used in previous studies in a way that would confirm to the aim of the research. A 40 minutes session was held twice a week from August 30, 2011 to October 6, 2011, resulting in a total of 10 sessions. The researcher herself conducted the sessions during after school at the first grade classroom of T elementary school. The following analyses were performed to generate results of elementary school students from multicultural family, "the test measuring self-esteem", "the test measuring the school life adjustment", "the K-HTP test" was conducted before and after the art counseling program. The results were analyzed through comparison. The foregoing analyses revealed that the art Counseling program is effective for elementary school students from multicultural family.
The purpose of this study was two-fold. First, comparisons on the psychological and physical attributes of normal weight, overweight, and obese children were conducted. Second, the influence of BMI and physical fitness interaction on psychological adaptation in children with obesity was explored. Participants were 245 children between the ages of 9 and 13 years (64.5% males). Data on children considered overweight (n = 45) or obese (n = 78) were gathered from the Korean Obese Children's Physical Activity (KOCPA) projects. Normal weight children (n = 122) were recruited from two Seoul elementary schools. Psychological measurements included Weight Efficacy Life-style Questionnaire (WEL), Physical Self-efficacy Scale (PSES), Child Dietary Self-efficacy Scale (CDSS), Self-concept Inventory (SCI), and the Korean version of the Pediatric Quality of Life Intervention TM Version 4.0 Generic Core Scales (PedsQLTM4.0). BMI (kg/m2) and physical fitness (e.g., aerobic endurance, flexibility) were recorded by experts in exercise physiology. Results showed that children in the high BMI group reported poorer psychological adaption and demonstrated lower physical fitness when compared to the remaining groups. Compared to normal weight children, children considered overweight and obese were found to have lower physical self-efficacy, more negative self-concept, and poorer quality of life. Further, these children also had significantly lower physical fitness levels than their normal weight counterparts. Physical fitness was found to have a significant main effect on weight efficacy (WEL), physical self-efficacy (PSES), and quality of life (PedsQL) in children considered overweight or obese. A significant BMI-physical fitness interaction effect was found for self-concept (SCI) only. Children with higher BMI reported poorer self-concept regardless of fitness level whereas children with lower BMI and higher fitness reported more positive self-concept. Implications and limitations are discussed.

Purpose : This study aimed to evaluate the usefulness of Korean Infant Development Screening Test in predicting delayed development in premature infants. Methods : A total of 74 children with histories of prematurity, who visited the pediatric neurology clinic of Korean University Ansan Hospital from August, 2002 to July, 2004, were examined, using the Korean Infant Development Screening Test. They were divided into two groups; a normal group and a patient(neurologically compromised) group. Results : At 7 months of conceptional age, the normal and patient groups differed significantly in the fine motor, cognitive-adaptive sections. At 12 months of conceptional age both group, differed significantly in the gross motor, fine motor, personal-social, language and cognitive-adaptive sections. At 18-24 months, the group, differed significantly in gross motor, fine motor, personal-social, language and cognitive-adaptive sections. Conclusion : The Korean Developmental Screening Test was useful in predicting developmental delay in premature infants.

Purpose: To investigate an individual phoria compensating effect by measuring the lens adaptation after wearing horizontal prism or spherical lenses at near. Methods: 103 subjects (63 males and 40 females) aged $22.43{\pm}2.07years$ participated for this study. Refractive errors of subjects were fully corrected, and subjects were classified into three groups; esophoria, orthophoria and exophoria. The adaptation test of prism and spherical lenses was performed immediately, 15 minutes and 30 minutes after wearing lenses with $OU\;2\;{\Delta}\;BO$ and S+1.00 D for an esophoria group and $OU\;2\;{\Delta}\;BI$ and S-1.00 D for orthophoria and exophoria groups, respectively. Each measured phoria was compared to phoria measured with fully corrected condition, and the phoria changing effects about both lenses was analyzed. Results: The mean of phoria by prism lenses significantly decreased for every group. The mean of phoria by spherical lenses also significantly decreased in orthophoria and exophoria groups. The esophoria group showed a decreasing tendency but has no significance. The decreased phoria value by prism lens was classified into three steps; 90~100%, 0~10% and 50% or more. According to results of individual distribution ratio, it was 5, 64 and 24 subjects at 30 minutes after wearing lenses, respectively. The decreased phoria value by spherical lens was classified into three steps; 90~100%, 0~10% and 50% or more. According to results of individual distribution ratio, it was 37, 53 and 41 subjects at 30 minutes after wearing lenses, respectively. The subjects having no phoria changed by both prism and spherical lenses were 37.9%. Conclusions: When prescribing to compensate the near horizontal phoria using prism or spherical lens, the pretest for lens adaptation should be taken before prescription.

In this paper, we study real time AEC (acoustic echo canceller) based on NLMS adaptive filter. Proposed method improves conversation quality by enhancing the performance of AEC during double talk section and reduces the power consumption by controling the adaption operation of NLMS adaptive filter. Proposed method examines the convergence of the NLMS adaptive filter, stores the estimated echo path and chooses operation of NLMS adaptive filter. Furthermore if double talk is detected, the proposed AEC utilizes the stored echo path optionally considering missed double talk time. When the proposed AEC is used, the performance of the AEC is enhanced although the simple double talk detector is used and the power consumption of the AEC is reduced.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of perceived parental attachment and self-differentiation on the adjustment to college life For this study, we used research data about the adjustment to college life, perceived parental attachment and self-differentiation which were collected from 271 university students live in Busan. We carried out correlation analysis to see the relationship between perceived parental attachment, self-differentiation and the adjustment to college life. Also, we carried out stepwise multiple regression to predict the most influential variable in college life. Results of this study were as follows. First, perceived parental attachment, and self-differentiation have a meaningful positive relationship with college life. Second, attachment anxiety, attachment avoidance, family projection, and cognitive and emotional functioning have more effects on the adjustment to college. Especially attachment avoidance affects college life more than others. These results show the importance of a wide variety of policy research to develope peer support program and counseling for a better school life on schools, classes, counseling centers.
Coping and defense are similar psychological mechanisms to reduce stress response, but they are regarded as distinct from each other. Defense involved distortions of reality, but coping was used for strategies associated with accepting the true nature of the situation. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the coping and defense features of the North Korean Defectors in the Rorschach test. The subjects were then categorized into four groups based on their birth place and gender: Male North Korean defectors( N=16), female North Korean defectors(N=28), male South Koreans(N=17), and female South Koreans(N=25). All subjects were individually administered the Rorschach test, and protocols were scored according to the Exner(2003)'s Rorschach Comprehensive systems. Coping or defense-related Rorschach variables were selected for analysis: EA, CDI, Adj D, EB style, Lamda, Zd, X-%, Xu%, W:Dd:D, P, reaction time, and other behavior characteristics during the testing. Compared with other groups, female North Korean defectors were more likely to show poor coping resources(low EA), adjustment difficulties(Adj D), and distortions of reality(high X-%). They also demonstrated more 'don't know' responses and more delayed responses than other groups. These findings suggest that poor coping resources make female North Korean defectors more vulnerable to stress, and psychological intervention such as social skills training may help them settle successfully in south Korea. Limitations of the current study and implications for future research were discussed.
