This paper discusses the design and implementation of a video server which uses tertiary device, such as magneto-optical jukebox or tape library, as a source of media archiving. In order to handle the tertiary device in the framework of disk-based stream service model, a sophisticated streaming model is required for server and it should consider the device-specific performance characteristics of tertiary storage. We have carefully designed the streaming mechanism for server whose key functionalities include stream scheduling, disk caching and admission control. The proposed system has been implemented on Windows 2000 platform which is equipped with a magneto-optical jukebox. The design principles of the server are validated with the experiments and the performance characteristics is analyzed.

현재 정보이용자는 icloud, google drive등과 같은 clouding storage 서비스를 이용하여 자신의 정보를 저장한다. 하지만 서버와 사용자간의 데이터 전송 시 발생할 수 있는 데이터 손실, 서버에 저장된 데이터 삭제 및 소유권 문제 등이 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 발생 가능한 정보보안 문제를 해결하기 위한 기술들을 소개하려 한다.

PKI에 필수적인 요소인 인증서 검증에 있어 인증서 검증서버인 ETRI/VA는 인증서의 상태 검증의 적시성을 제공하고 인증경로 생성 및 검증에 대한 클라이언트의 부담을 줄이며. PKI 상호연동을 지원하고 도메인간의 인중서 정책을 중앙집중 관리한다. 본 논문은 ETRI/VA에서의 신속하고 효율적인 인증경로 생성 방법을 제안하였다. 인중기관 인증서로 이루어진 인증경로를 미리 생성하고 저장하여 사용함으로써 검증 요청시 빠르게 인증경로를 생성할 수 있고. 요청에 의해 생성된 인증경로를 저장하여 이후 동일한 검증대상 인증서의 검증시 기 저장된 인증경로를 재사용하게 함으로써 효율적으로 인증경로를 생성한다.

비디오 서버는 제한된 자원을 이용하여 보다 많은 사용자에게 안정적인 005(Quality of Service)를 제공하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 안정적인 QoS를 지원하기 위한 서버 진입 제어에 관한 연구를 클러스터 형태의 VOD 서버에서 수행하였다. 리눅스 환경에서 구축된 VOD 서버의 성능을 분산 저장 노드의 수와 일반 재생 및 고속 재생의 비율을 변화시키며 측정하였다. 측정한 결과를 토대로 클러스터 VOD 서버의 성능 제한의 원인을 분석하고, 그에 따른 대책을 제안한다. 분석된 자료는 클러스터 VOD 서버에서 진입 제어의 기준을 결정하는 변수들로 사용되어 진다.

In this paper, a "Vehicle Analysis System(VAS) using cloud and data mining" is proposed that store all the sensor data measured in the vehicle in the cloud, analyze the stored data using the classification model, and provide the analyzed data in real time to the driver's display. The VAS consists of two modules. First, Sensor Data Communication Module(SDCM) stores the sensor data measured in the vehicle in a table of the cloud server and transfers the stored data to the analysis module. Second, Sensor Data Analysis Module(SDAM) analyzes the received data using the genetic algorithm and provides analyzed result to the driver in real time. The VAS stores sensor data collected in the vehicle in the cloud server without accumulating it in the vehicle, and stored data is analyzed in the cloud server, so that the sensor data can be quickly and efficiently managed without overloading the vehicle. In addition, the information desired by the driver can be visualized on the display, thereby increasing the stability of the autonomous vehicle.

본 논문에서는 라즈베리파이에 LTE를 장착하여 PC 서버와 통신을 하여 라즈베리파이 보드에서 GPS와 이미지에 대한 정보를 전송해 주고 PC 서버에서 정보를 받아 데이터베이스에서 저장이 되도록 개발하였다. 이 기술은 LTE를 통하여 원거리 통신이 가능 하도록 해주며, PC 서버에 Spring Framework 개발 툴을 이용하여 GPS 정보와 이미지를 웹 브라우저에서 볼 수 있도록 구축하였다. 또한 PC 서버의 데이터베이스에서 들어오는 정보를 계속해서 저장을 해 주도록 하여 웹 브라우저에서 지나간 GPS의 정보와 이미지를 볼 수 있도록 하였다. 이 기술을 이용하여 드론에 적용하여 실시간 재난 모니터링 시스템으로 구축할 계획이다.

본 논문에서는 인터넷 기반의 이동로봇의 원격제어를 위한 시스템의 효율적인 구성을 제안하고 구현한다. 구현된 원격제어 시스템의 인터페이스로 일반적인 웹 브라우저를 사용하며, 이동로봇의 제어용 서버와 이동로봇의 감시용으로 외부에 설치된 CCD 카메라 제어용 서버의 효율적인 구성을 위해, 기존의 Unix나 PC상에서 구현되었던 제어용 서버를 내장형 웹 서버로 대체한다. 외부에 설치된 CCD 카메라의 영상은 프레임 그래버로 전송되며 전송된 영상은 Microsoft Visual C++ 프로그램 언어를 사용하여 할당된 메모리에 저장한다. 저장된 영상은 클라이언트 풀 기술(client pull technique)을 이용하여 웹 브라우저를 통해 직접 보여줌으로써 현장의 실시간 감시가 가능하도록 한다.

이동 컴퓨팅이 활성화 되면서 데이터의 관리 및 저장을 위하여 내장형 DBMS의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 클라이언트에서 운용되는 내장형 DBMS는 서버용 DBMS와 동기화 기능이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 통신 비용절감과 빠른 동기화를 위하여 SQL로 이루어진 로그 정보로 클라이언트와 서버간의 데이터를 양방향 동기화하며 Mirror Table을 가지는 Mid-tier 구조로 안정성을 유지하는 새로운 동기화 서버 구조를 제안한다. 제안된 동기화 서버는 저장 공간과 안정성이 부족한 내장형 DBMS의 데이터를 일관성과 안정성이 있도록 보장하고 통신비용이 최소화될 수 있도록 함으로써 효율적으로 데이터를 관리할 수 있도록 지원한다.

Continuous media objects, due to large volume and real-time consiraints in their delivery,are likely to consume much network andwidth Generally, proxy servers are used to hold the fiequently requested objects so as to reduce the network traffic to the central server but most of them are designed for text and image dae that they do not go well with continuous media data. So, in this paper, we propose a two-layered network cache management policy for continuous media object delivery on the wide area networks. With the proposed cache management scheme,in cach LAN, there exists one LAN cache and each LAN is further devided into a group of sub-LANs, each of which also has its own sub-LAN eache. Further, each object is also partitioned into two parts the front-end and rear-end partition. they can be loaded in the same cache or separately in different network caches according to their access frequencics. By doing so, cache replacement overhead could be educed as compared to the case of the full size daa allocation and replacement , this eventually reduces the backbone network traffic to the origin server.

최근 들어 사용자의 위치 데이타를 기반으로 한 LBS가 유용한 서비스로 등장함에 따라 이동 객체의 관리에서 발생하는 대용량의 위치 데이타에 대한 처리가 중요한 문제가 되었다. 이러한 대용량의 위치 데이타는 초당 몇 백만 건이 생성 및 변경되기 때문에 위치 데이타에 대한 신속한 저장 및 검색을 위한 시스템이 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 위치 데이타를 효과적으로 분산 저장 및 검색할 수 있는 MODBMS를 위한 분산 위치 저장 컴포넌트를 설계 및 구현하였다. 분산 위치 저장 컴포넌트는 미들웨어의 정보를 관리하는 서버 관리자, 검색할 서버의 정보를 반환하는 연결 관리자, 디스크 정보 및 백업 작업을 위한 디스크 관리자, 위치 데이타의 저장 및 검색을 위한 미들웨어, 그리고 클라이언트로 구성되어 있다.
