미주신경의 마디신경절내에 존재하는 신경세포는 경부, 흉강 및 복강의 감각신경을 지배하는 것으로 알려져 있으며 이와 관련된 SP, CGRP 등의 신경펩디드의 분포에 관하여 많은 보고가 이루어졌다. Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide(VIP)는 혈관, 평활근, 분비선 주위에 분포하는 부교감신경세포의 전달물질로서 후두의 자율신경계의 조절에 중요한 역할을 하고 있다 이러한 VIP지배신경의 기원에 관해서는 미주신경이나 후두신경, 그리고 일부 후두 구조내에 존재하는 부신경절(Paraganglia)에서 기원한 후 신경절 부교감신경으로 알려져 있는데, 즉 미주신경의 마디신경절은 단지 감각신경의 기원이 되는 신경세포 집합체로 마디신경절과 자율신경계의 상관관계에 대한 연구는 극히 드문 실정이다. 그러나 일부 보고에서 성문하부의 점막상피에서 SP나 CGRP외에도 VIP 양성세포가 발견됨으로써 일반적으로 자율신경계 세포로 알려진 VIP 양성세포의 기원과 기능은 더 규명되어야 할 부분의 하나로 사료된다 금번 저자는 고양이의 마디신경절에 대하여 면역 조직화학적 방법을 통한 VIP양성 세포의 출현여부를 관찰함으로써 마디신경절과 자율신경계와의 상관관계를 알아보고자 하였다.

멀티 에이전트 시스템은 공통의 목표를 위해 함께 일하기로 합의한 협업 에이전트로 구성된다. 에이전트 시스템에서 메시지를 스케줄링 할 때, 동일한 우선순위가 역할의 중요도를 고려하지 않고 모든 에이전트에게 동일하게 할당된다면 성능은 극대화되지 않을 것이다. 본 논문에서 우리는 새로운 메시지 기반 우선순위 스케줄링 기법을 제안한다. 그것은 에이전트 시스템으로 하여금 에이전트와 메시지 작업 처리량의 중요도에 기반으로 메시지의 우선순위를 적절하게 모델링함으로써 환경 변화에 신속히 적응할 수 있게 한다. 에이전트 시스템의 성능은 저자들에 의해 개발된 에이전트 플랫폼을 통해 실행된 범죄 예방 시스템에 대한 사례 연구를 이용한 제안된 계획에 의해 상당히 개선된 것으로 보여준다.

이 글은 2012년 3월 9일 '무역 및 경쟁 정책에 관한 국제 원탁회의(International Roundtable on Trade and Competition Policy) 비공개전문가회의'에서 Shanker A. Singham이 발표한 자료와 참석자들의 토의내용을 발표 이후 정리, 이를 요약문 형식으로 번역(의역)한 것이다. 이 글의 주요 논지는 경쟁당국의 지식재산권에 대한 전통적 관점에 대한 재고찰로서, 필자는 "지식재산권 보호가 반드시 경쟁정책에 반하는 것은 아니고, 오히려 지식재산권 보호가 경쟁을 촉진하는 효과를 가진다"는 점을 강조하고 있다. 저자는 자신의 논지를 설명하면서 의약산업의 예시를 상당부분 들고 있다. 이 글 중에는 국내 사정과 정서에 일부 부합하지 않는 내용도 있을 수 있지만, 국내외 경쟁정책에 대한 다양한 관점을 경험할 수 있다는 점에서 의미가 있다고 생각한다.

정보통신망 및 멀티미디어 기술의 발전으로 인해 정보의 형태는 단순한 텍스트 데이터에서 멀티미디어 데이터로 전환되고 있다. 멀티미디어 기술은 저장, 재생, 압축 등 관련 기술의 빠른 발전과 미디어의 사회, 문화적 역할이 계속 증가함에 따라 우리 사회 전반에 걸쳐 매우 광범위하게 사용되고 있으며, 이로 인해 동영상 검색등의 많은 검색을 요구 하고 있으나, 동영상 검색의 문제점은 생산되는 컨텐츠에서 동영상이 가지고 있는 비중은 계속해서 높아지지만 쌓아진 데이터를 검색하기엔 몇 가지 문제점이 있다. 첫 번째는 데이터의 중복성이고 두 번째는 제목, 내용 그리고 Keyword가 일치하지 않으며, 세 번째는 저자권 침해 등이 있다. 본 연구에서는 본 논문에서는 빠르게 변화되고 있는 정보화 시대에 맞게 동영상에서 음성과 얼굴영역을 검출하여, 검색 시 효율적이고 정확한 데이터의 검색이 이루어 질 수 있도록 검색 알고리즘을 제안하고 소개하며, 이중 두 번째의 문제점인 제목, 내용 그리고 Keyword의 불일치한 점에 두어 검색 시 영상의 이미지 검색과 음성을 통하여 keyword를 찾아 효율적이고 검색율의 높일 방법을 연구한다.

견갑하근 파열의 손상과 치료방식이 발전하면서 견갑하근의 중요성이 더욱 대두되었고 이에 견갑하근의 파열양상, 봉합방법 그리고 후상방 회전근 개 파열과의 관련성 등이 여러 저자들에 의해서 연구 되고 있다. 즉, 이전까지 관심의 대상에서 제외 되었던 견갑하근의 부분파열이 점차적으로 회전근 개 파열의 중요한 역할을 하며 상완 이두건초염과 오구상완 인대의 내측활차의 손상이 이러한 부분파열의 원인을 제공할 수 있음을 알 수 있다. 그러나 견갑하근 파열에 대한 정확한 원인 인자는 아직 불투명하다. 이에 본 교실에서는 견갑하근 파열의 치료와 견갑하근 파열과 동반 손상된 상완 이두건 손상및 탈구 등을 치료하고 이에 대해 문헌 고찰과 함께 손상 종류에 따른 치료방법을 살펴보고 이에 대해 알아보고자 한다.

Mediastinal vascular malformations are rare and their diagnosis can be challenging. Imaging is vital for diagnosing mediastinal vascular malformations and can help avoid unnecessary invasive procedures. Herein, we report the detailed CT and MRI findings of a rare low-flow mediastinal vascular malformation in an asymptomatic 63-year-old male.

Recently, there are lots methodologies to improve the quality of research in medical and public health fields. One of them is to checking a process of research with a reporting guideline before reporting paper. Especially, reporting guideline for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) is the consolidated standards of reporting trials (CONSORT). Therefore, this review describes the latest version of the CONSORT statement, CONSORT 2010, including intent, background, and contents of this. The CONSORT statement comprises a checklist of essential items that should be included in reports of RCTs and a diagram for documenting the flow of participants through a trial. This report guideline aims at providing guidance to authors about how to improve the reporting of their trials. As consulting the CONSORT, authors could be strictly reported about research methods and results. From this review, we expect to elevate the quality of such research about dental hygiene and to establish the foundation for evidence-based dental hygiene.

Purpose: Scapular dyskinesis is an alteration in the normal position or motion of the scapula during coupled scapulohumeral movements. Vast majority of shoulder pathologies are known to be related with scapular motion abnormalities. Because there being enthusiasm about scapular pathology in recent literatures, understanding scapular dyskinesis seems to be an important subject. The authors describe the importance of scapular abnormality in terms of shoulder pathology. Materials and Methods: Usually the inhibition or disorganization of activation patterns in scapular stabilizing muscles lead to scapular dyskinesis. This motion abnormality has more important values in Elite Athletes because it might be the sign of future shoulder pathology; for example, SLAP and internal impingement. Treatment of scapular dyskinesis is directed at managing underlying causes and restoring normal scapular muscle activation patterns by kinetic chain-based rehabilitation protocols. Treatment is also important to prevent secondary shoulder injuries. Results and Conclusion: Understanding scapular pathology may be the main key to approach to the shoulder pathology. Also treating scapular pathology might be important in preventing secondary shoulder injuries.

The author tried to verify the mediating effect of the variable, perceived behavioral control, in the relationship between the independent variables(cosmetics-related variables, consumer's preference, advice & inducement), and the dependent variable(purchasing behavior), through AMOS structural equation modeling. As a result of analyzing the mediating effect in the impact relationship between latent variables, it was found that PBC(perceived behavior control) plays a mediating role in the impact relationship between CQ(cosmetics quality) and PB(purchasing behavior). Author found that the higher the quality of cosmetics and the greater the perceived behavior control in domestic cosmetics purchasing behavior, the more likely it will lead to purchasing behavior. In this context, while efforts are being made to improve cosmetic quality, measures to increase perceived behavior control, which can be said to be autonomy in purchasing behavior, should be sought.

Sparganosis is an uncommon human parasitic infection caused by plerocercoid cysts of the genus Spirometra. Sparganosis of the neck is a rare condition, thus making it difficult to diagnose. It is often initially misdiagnosed as a lymphadenopathy or a soft tissue tumor. Herein, we describe a rare case of apparent sparganosis presenting as a palpable mass in the left neck of a 53-year-old female patient. Imaging studies played a key role in the diagnosis. In this case report, we emphasize that sparganosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of a palpable superficial mass. We also stress the importance of meticulous radiological review in the context of appropriate clinical suspicion.
