The Korean welfare state has achieved remarkable development during the last two decades, but simultaneously we have witnessed growing prevalent social conflicts and exclusion in the society. This research argues that the source of current problems lies in the nature of the Korean welfare regime, so called, 'paternalistic liberalism'. The paternalistic liberalism has been formulated by the combination of legacies of the developmental state and neo-liberalism. Paternalism with the growth-oriented and employment-centered approach has been a significant factor to restrict individuals' freedom and happiness in the Korean welfare state. It has also been embedded in the Korean welfare state such as social insurance, workfare programs, and centralized social services. In this context, this research proposes social liberalism, pursuing real freedom for all, as a new paradigm for the Korean welfare state. Breaking from the old path, Freecurity, combining freedom and security, which is argued to be the upgraded version of flexicurity, is also newly proposed as the operating model of social liberalism.

The purpose of this study was to prove that interchange is a primary factor in costume changes through case analysis in costume culture interchange, and further, to assist in gaining understanding of costume changes of the present and the future, and therefore, in this study, cases analysis was conducted focusing on interchange resulting from political factors. In order to present theories that are able to analyse costume culture interchange, culture, cultural exchange, and costume cultures were examined, and based on the results, a costume culture interchange process model and its three steps, propagation, selection, and reinterpretation, were presented. The results of case study on costume culture interchange resulting from political factors based on the costume culture interchange process model presented are as follows. Interchanges that politically uses the possibility of expressing costume as symbols are in most cases aggressive and semi aggressive. In order to exhibit superiority of themselves, the aggressors forced their national costumes onto the receiving culture. Rather than a simple introduction of their costumes, it was an attempt to introduce they values and their ways of life. The conclusion that can be reached through such result is that interchange is an important driving force for changes in costume culture. All interchanges were not greatly affected by methods of propagation and acceptance, and resulted in fusion. Fusion is a process in which existing costume and foreign costume come together constructively to for a new costume culture therefore change in costume style is inevitable.

The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of model of the experiment in students' open inquiry. The research is a reinterpretation of the data collected from the performance of a three-year research project under the theme of 'school science inquiry' the perspective of model of the experiment. The inquiry activities of a focus group made up of four students have been recorded seven times. The recorded files and transcribed copies were analyzed according to interpretive methods. Students' activities were divided into three modeling of the experiment units, considering the modeling unit that includes the process of starting from the problem until it gets solved. The results of the study include illuminating the dynamic process and characteristics of modeling of the experiment and discussing its educational meaning as a distributed cognitive system at each modeling unit. First, students, instruments, and the primitive form of calculation represented by the interaction between them turned out to be important factors in the distributed cognitive system that constitutes model of the experiment. Second, in the early stages, non-verbal activities were carried out in which students became familiar with instruments, and verbal quantitative signs were created when the activities were sufficiently carried out. The generated quantitative signs became a source of data and confidence that can be referenced in subsequent activities. Third, the specialization of instrumentalization occurred, and factors that were important in inquiry, such as variable control, appeared. The results of the study provide new implications for science education research and education, which have been centered on explanatory models, by unfolding the characteristics of model of the experiment that have not been noticed in science education through students' inquiry.
This study analyzed the papers provided by Asia Pacific Journal of Small Business (APJSB) for 40 years. The purpose of this study is looking at the research trends about small and medium business. We tried to identify some stream and feature without manipulation. Textmining and Frequency analysis are executed on topics of every published paper in APJSB to 2019 from 1979. The result suggest that important keyword and feature of research topics in APJSB. And the result show the period feature as well as the whole of research trend in APJSB for 40 years. Futhermore, we suggest some implications derived from the results by adapting business ecosystem model and business managerial system model.
The traditional image of hydraulic excavator started to change in two ways since 1990. First, post-heavy equipment's visual image was new waves to traditional image of heavy, strong, and wild. They are the negative aspect that excavators have. Another movement of getting rid of its negative image can be found in late-heavy equipment, which was intended to adapt traditional and positive, but off negative images. In 1990s, the design trend is moving from warm/hard to warm/soft, and KOBELCO can be exceptional example that went even further, gone up to cool-soft image. KOBELCO specially aimed 'post- excavator image' strategy, which has been successful. Image of cabin as a human space changed little bit further than outside image. Each company tried to differentiate the design of cabin focusing on its safety. Following paragraphs show specific trend of image change in form, colour, texture, and the composition. Major visual image change in form tries to follow the image of cars and home appliances which are showing the movement from tough and hard image to soft one. Structural change on local image shows the movement from angular edge to edgeless and the movement of cabin's pillar C placed to back of the equipment with gentle inclination. All of these movements are the result of effort to improve traditional excavator's negative image, that top structure is assembled separately, to positive ones. Today's tendency about its color becomes important to apply two different colour styles. Each style has brightness and tone comparison. As an enormous power convey system, it was in common that its brightness comparison was useful because of the alarm of its damage possibility. However, as its colour control and its design have been emphasized gradually, the tone comparison takes a part in an important role, too. As an example, there is an occasion that these comparisons are compromised simultaneously. In the respect of its image creation, its texture treatments make the tendency of being the same as passenger cars. It is caused from its development of the manufacture techniques of from the fabrication method in small business to the press method in big firm. Further, it is also because of its improvement of painting & coating skills. It may prohibit the reflection effect from solar rays. In the point of view of its visual images, it is recognized the prominent tendency that its composition has been gradually decreased. Lots of windows and the frames tends dark-colour as a whole. It is more preferred to have one colour image, but except KOBELCO and HITACHI. As well, there is another high-tendency to improve its standard treatments, especially for its corner and texture treatments.

A Wind resource assessment and optimal micrositing of wind turbines were implemented for the development of an onshore wind farm of 30 MW capacity on Gadeok Island in Busan, Republic of Korea. The wind data measured by the automatic weather system (AWS) that was installed and operated in the candidate area were used, and a reliability investigation was conducted through a data quality check. The AWS data were measured for one year, and were corrected for the long term of 30 years by using the modern era retrospective analysis for research and application (MERRA) reanalysis data and a measure- correlate-predict (MCP) technique; the corrected data were used for the optimal micrositing of the wind turbines. The micrositing of the 3 MW wind turbines was conducted under 25 conditions, then the best-optimized layout was analyzed with a various wake model. When the optimization was complete, the estimated park efficiency and capacity factor were from 97.6 to 98.7 and from 37.9 to 38.3, respectively. Furthermore, the annual energy production (AEP), including wake losses, was estimated to be from 99,598.4 MWh to 100,732.9 MWh, and the area was confirmed as a highly economical location for development of a wind farm.

The term 'green' has become an important way of survival for the construction industry in 21th century in accordance with the emergence of the environmental crisis due to the climatic change. Especially the policy of carbon taxation, planed to be introduced from 2012, is expected to be a considerable burden to the construction industry which has abundant carbon emission during the resource transportation due to the complexity of resources and local distribution of the construction sites. In this regard, this study shows an optimizing strategy for delivery frequency, which downsizes the net distribution costs based on the assumption that, despite of its other advantagements, the frequent small lot mode of JIT delivery would take negative effects due to the increase of costs of transportation and carbon emission once the carbon taxation policy carried out. To simulate the efficiency of the management strategies, the System Dynamics modeling has been used. The results show that the frequent small lot transportation strategy is now always efficient method to these changes, and that the frequency of transportation should be re-determinated according to the extent of the imposition of carbon tax. This study provides the conceptual frame for an efficient management of transportation system of the construction industry, showing necessity of change of the resource transportation systems through analysing JIT deliver system in accordance with the global changes in environmental economy.

However, Art & Culture Education in school has problems in the aspect of functional and superficial contents and ways of class. To achieve the ultimate purpose of Art & Culture Education and to take place as a effective education, quantitative growth in addition to qualitative depth should be considered. With this film we can deliver a interdisciplinary class of science and art.

Recently, the active interaction control (AIC) system was proposed as a semi-active control system. The AIC system consists of a primary structure and an auxiliary structure. The objective of the AIC system is to control the response of the primary structure through engagement and disengagement between the primary and auxiliary structures. Previous switching control algorithms have been shown to be effective in reducing the response of the primary structure. However, they have the main drawback of requiring an excessive engagement-disengagement frequency and high interaction force. In this paper, the regions in which the switching is activated and the regions in which the switching is deactivated are described separately, to effectively determine the engagement or the disengagement. The general relationship between the switching regions and the deactivated switching regions selected according to the engagement-disengagement conditions is described within the newly-developed comprehensive switching framework. The proposed engagement-disengagement conditions are designed within a comprehensive switching framework, to reduce engagement-disengagement frequency and interaction force. Furthermore, the effect of a control sampling period on the AIC system is explained in terms of the engagement-disengagement frequency. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithms and the effect of the control sampling period are considered for a single degree of freedom model under free vibration. It is observed that increasing the duration of stay by using a large control sampling period prevents the AIC system from activating the possible chance of switching. The proposed algorithms are shown to be effective, both in restricting ineffective switching and in reducing interaction force.

The purpose of this study is to derive ways to support Integrated Science curriculum implementation by evaluating the results of Integrated Science teacher training programs conducted by the Ministry of Education to support the settlement of 2015 revised Integrated Science curriculum. Teachers' output from the teacher training programs and interviews with training instructors in the 2017 Integrated Science Leading Teacher Training program were analyzed to derive the features of the Integrated Science curriculum and support plans for the implementation of Integrated Science in schools. Teachers who participated in the 2017 Integrated Science Leading Teacher Training program developed teaching, & learning and evaluation plans through participatory training sessions, where the achievement standards most selected by teachers were [10IS08-03] and [10IS09-04]. Through the text mining analysis of these achievement standards, we explored the implementation realities such as reconstruction of achievement standards, teaching and learning methods, learning materials, evaluation methods, and subject competencies. In addition, we analyzed exemplary reconstruction models of achievement standards in light of best integrated instruction, student-participatory instruction, and developing science competencies. Based on the results, we propose teacher training support plans and further studies for the implementation and settlement of the Integrated Science curriculum.
