  • To analyze the using of recycled aggregate on concrete as the substitude aggregate is important problem for the reuse of waste matter and prevention of environmental pollution. Therefore, this study is designed for investigating and analyzing the mechanical properties and early estimational properties of strength on concrete using aggregate of the waste concrete. And is aimed to provide the fundamental data for recycled aggregate.

  • In this paper, the properties of cement mortar used recycled aggregate are analyzed and compared with river and crushed sand mortar. Recycled aggregates are made by crushing wasted concrete had various compressive strength, and test items are the properties of fresh mortar, hardened mortar and durability. According to the experimental results, flow, unitweight, strength and durability of cement mortar used recycled aggregates decrease compared with those of river and crushed sand mortar.

  • This study is represented the strength and freeing-thawing properties of recycled aggregate concrete mixed fly ash by experiment. The experimental variables are the substitution ratio of recycled aggregate and the mixing ratio of fly-ash. For each specimens, there were tested compressive strength and freeze-thaw resistance. It is able to find from the experimental result that the recycled aggregate concrete has good properties as general concrete on the compressive strength and the durability.

  • This study provided the engineering properties of the recycled aggregate concrete with fly-ash and silica-fume. There are considered recycled aggregate substitution ratio, and fly-ash silica-fume mix ratio as the experimental variable. From the experimental result, we could know that the recycled aggregate concrete mixed silica-fume is superior on the compressive strength but, is poor on the construction property than fly-ash. The optimal mix ratio of the fly-ash and silica-fume is 10% in all.

  • In this paper, the properties of concrete used recycled aggregate are analyzed. The specimens are manufactured for the compressive strength of 210㎏/㎠ with recycled aggaregate ratio of 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%, respectivey. At curing 28days, compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength, dry-shrinkage, static modulus of elasticity and poission's ratio have been tested according to replacement ratio of recycled aggregate.

  • In many countries a considerable amount of demolition wastes is generated and wastes concrete constitutes a significant proportion of the construction waste. Therefore, the necessity for the use of recycled aggregate in concrete arise and the reuse of a waste concrete may solve the problems of environmental pollution and shortage of natural aggregate. The Purpose of the present study is to investigate the effects of the recycled aggregate on the compressive strength, the permeability and the air-void system.

  • In this study, the recycled concrete aggregates crushed in-situ were used for the access road pcc (portland cement concrete) pavement. Based on laboratory results, the properties of materials, mixture proportioning, blend rates, and application conditions were investigated prior to trial application, and the various problems on recycled concrete aggregate under construction have been comprehensively checked.

  • The primary objectives of this study are to investigate the properties of strength and durability of recycled aggregate concrete was added polypropylene as variables and to fabricate fine concrete in some conditions. The variables are substitution ratios of recycled aggregate(0, 30, 50, 100%) and additions of polypropylene(0, 0.2, 0.5, 1.0%). Compressive strength test to investigate strength properties and freeze-thawing test and drying shrinkage test to durability properties were done. As the result of this study, When variables are substitution ratio(30%) of recycled aggregated and addition(0.5%) of polypropylene, fine concrete was fabricated.

  • This study was performed to verify the properties of concrete used recycled aggregate(0, 30%, 50%). Also, to improve the brittle fracture, energy absorption and apparent ductility of concrete, we added polypropylene fibers(0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1.0% by volume of concrete). As the experimental results, adding 30% recycled aggregates and 0.5% polypropylene fibers to concrete mixes enhances the properties of both compressive strength and toughness.
