An Evacuation Route Assignment for Multiple Exits based on Greedy Algorithm (탐욕 알고리즘 기반 다중 출구 대피경로 할당)

  • Some studies were conducted for the purpose of minimizing total clearance time for rapid evacuation from the indoor spaces when disaster occurs. Most studies took a long time to calculate the optimal evacuation route that derived minimum evacuation time. For this reason, this study proposes an evacuation route assignment algorithm that can shorten the total clearance time in a short operational time. When lots of exits are in the building, this algorithm can shorten the total clearance time by assigning the appropriate pedestrian traffic volume to each exit and balances each exit-load. The graph theory and greedy algorithm were utilized to assign pedestrian traffic volume to each exit in this study. To verify this algorithm, study used a cellular automata-based evacuation simulator and experimented various occupants distribution in a building structure. As a result, the total clearance time is reduced by using this algorithm, compared to the case of evacuating occupants to the exit within shortest distance. And it was confirmed that the operation takes a short time In a large building structure.

Emergency Rescue Guidance Scheme Using Wireless Sensor Networks (재난 상황 시 센서 네트워크 기반 구조자 진입 경로 탐색 방안)

  • Using current evacuation methods, a crew describes the physical location of an accident and guides evacuation using alarms and emergency guide lights. However, in case of an accident on a large and complex building, an intelligent and effective emergency evacuation system is required to ensure the safety of evacuees. Therefore, several studies have been performed on intelligent path finding and emergency evacuation algorithms which are centralized guidance methods using gathered data from distributed sensor nodes. However, another important aspect is effective rescue guidance in an emergency situation. So far, there has been no consideration on the efficient rescue guidance scheme. Therefore, this paper proposes the genetic algorithm based emergency rescue guidance method using distributed wireless sensor networks. Performance evaluation using a computer simulation shows that the proposed scheme guarantees efficient path finding. The fitness converges to the minimum value in reasonable time. The density of each exit node is remarkably decreased as well.

  • At the present time, buildings are designed higher and more complex than ever before. Therefore the potential disasters are happened such as fire, power outage, earthquake, flood, hurricanes. Their disasters require people inside buildings to be evacuated as soon as possible. This paper presents a new disaster evacuation guidance concept of inner buildings, whiche aims at integrated the constructing of a sensor network and a guidance light networks in order to provide a quick detection of disasters and accurate evacuation guidance based on indoor geo-information, and sends these instructions to people. In this paper, we present the integrated logical model based on sensor and guidance light networks for the fire disaster management in inner building using our concept. And we verify proposed logical model according to experiments with visualization and operations on map.

  • Internet of things(IoT) services should be available to provide unattended operation in a remote area, long battery life, low-cost infrastructure, two-way communication platform. Urban transit in Busan is made up of the wire-based infrastructure except for voice infrastructure of transmit/receive and new data infrastructure is required for Internet of things(IoT) services. Urban transit environments in Busan were analyzed in order to apply LoRa Wireless Network(the standard communication way of IoT) and proposes a building after a Disaster Evacuation System.

  • Operating system of CBRNE(Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High-yield explosive)) weapon in North Korea has reached an internationally significant level. In preparation against the CBRNE weapon attack, the US is securing various forms of defense shelters and operating it based on classification by disaster characteristics. However, it is currently difficult to expect an efficient protective ability from South Korea due to the reckless designation of defense shelters without consideration of disaster characteristics. At this, this study examined the present condition of formerly used facilities, analyzed the characteristics of each facilities for the sorting of defense shelters that are possible of conversion into shelter against CBRNE weapon, and presented results and proposals gained through this study research.

  • Civil defense evacuation facilities currently installed in our country are necessary to survey the operating status. The purpose of this study is to survey on the current facility for civil defense evacuation facilities equipment, management, and problem analysis, research and to build a facility model of the standard formulation through the analysis on the actual condition of the civil defense evacuation facility. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, the civil defense evacuation facilities are most in Seoul. Second, civil defense evacuation facilities proved to be checked periodically without a systematic management. Many facilities do not have communication facilities appear to be evacuated in an emergency situation is expected to have difficulty in contact with the outside world. Fourth, the old civil defense evacuation facilities are in the center of the metropolitan area.

  • Passenger casualties in the case of ship accidents have increased because of the increase in size and complexity of current ships (such as cruise ships). Therefore, in recent years, emergency evacuation systems are receiving increased interest so as to ensure the safety of passengers. Currently, there are only basic instructions provided, such as announcements regarding the situation, alarms, and exit signs; however, no guidance toward a proper escape route has yet been provided. To solve this problem, several emergency guiding schemes have been proposed. However, these systems ignore some of the realities of ship accidents and are impractical because various risk factors are not considered. Therefore, this paper proposes an optimal route guiding system based on an $A^*$ algorithm for emergency escape during disaster situations. This system takes into account various possible risk factors. Performance evaluation using computer simulations showed that the proposed scheme is effective and leads to safe escape routes.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 도시 지역에서 지진 발생시 중요한 대피로 역할을 하는 도로의 위험평가요소를 분석하고 데이터베이스(Database, DB)를 구축하는데 있다. 현재 우리나라는 도로의 체계적인 유지관리를 위해 도로관리통합시스템이 개발되어 있으나, 이는 도로대장전산화, 포장관리시스템, 교랑관리시스템, 도로절개면유지관리시스템 등에 한정되어 있다. 다시 말해서 재난 시 사람들이 신변의 안전을 확보할 수 있는 대피나 구급을 위한 통로로써의 도로에 대한 이해가 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 선행연구의 분석을 토대로 방재관점의 도로관리를 위한 항목들을 자연환경, 시회환경, 도로 및 시설물, 유발요인 등으로 제안하고, 서울대학교 부근을 대상지역으로 하여 이들 요인을 DB화하였다. 이는 도로와 주변 환경 등을 동시에 고려하여 재난 발생 시 대피와 구조 활동을 위한 방재계획은 물론, 지역별 위험도평가 및 재해위험도작성에 기초 자료로 이용될 것으로 기대된다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 기구축된 GIS 자료가 아닌 현장 조사를 바탕으로 구축된 DB로, 방재관점의 통합된 DB의 필요성을 제시하는데 그 의미가 있을 것이다.

  • 현대에는 건물이 대형화, 고층화되어짐에 따라 많은 재실자들을 수용함으로써 대형 재난의 잠재적인 가능성을 가지게 된다. 더욱이 건물의 미적인 면과 효율성이 강조됨에 따라 재난시 재실자의 대피에 영향을 주는 통로와 사무 시설 배치등과 같은 방과 건물구조의 용도 변경이 잦아지게 되었다. 그러나 안전적인 측면에서 특히 재실자의 대피는 피난 법규의 요구이외에는 설계시 특히 건물 내부의 용도 변경시 피난의 상황은 중요하게 고려되어지지 않고 있는 실정이다. 이에는 설계자나 건물 관리인에게 있어서 안전의 개념의식이 미비한 점도 있지만 대피시의 상황을 예측할 수 있는 효율적인 프로그램의 개발이 적절히 이루어지지 않았기 때문이라고 생각되어 진다. 이에 본 논문은 동일 건물 구조하에서 재실자들의 대피 상황을 프로그램을 통하여 미리 제시함으로서 설계 및 건물구조 변경시 건물 구조의 효율성과 안전성의 적절한 조화를 꾀하는데 목적을 두고 있다.   • It is necessary to establish guidelines when we selecting the civil defense evacuation facilities through quantitative analysis by civil defense evacuation facilities volume. The purpose of this study is to evaluate according to population density and distribution of the capacity of evacuation facilities. The results of this study are as follows. First, it is necessary to consider the capacity of evacuation facilities in order to set up the exact districts of civil defense evacuation facilities. Second, basic data based on to compare the condition of civil defense evacuation facilities is produced by an analysis on evacuation status of the target region. Third, it is proved to consider topographical conditions which do not move the shortest distance. Fourth, in order to create a realistic model, it is necessary to consider the model set various parameters.
