담배자판기에 성인인증장치를 부착하도록 하는 국민건강증진법 개정안이 국회를 통과했다. 담배자판기 전면 철거안을 들고 나왔던 보건복지위원회는 지난 6월 30일 국회 본회의를 통해 자동판매기에 의한 담배판매를 완전히 금지하는 것은 지나친 규제이므로, 청소년 흡연예방의 목적을 달성하면서 그 제한을 최소한으로 할 수 있도록, 현행과 같이 제한된 장소에서만 설치하되 담배자동판매기에 성인인증장치를 부착하도록 하는 수정안을 통과 시켰다. 이로서 그간 존폐위기에 까지 몰렸던 담배자동판매기는 그 성인인증장치 부착을 통해 합법적인 설치 환경을 확보하게된 것이다. 그동안 관련 업계와 더불어 담배자판기 규제완화를 위해 많은 노력을 기울여 왔던 본 협회에서는 이번 성인인증담배자판기 합법화 조치로 인해 담배자판기 산업이 새롭게 재도약할 기회가 마련이 된 것으로 평가하고 있다. '시작은 미약하지만 끝은 창대하리라'는 성경의 구절처럼 이제 합법적인 명분을 확보한 담배자판기는 공공장소 흡연구역이외의 외부 로케이션까지 대상 로케이션을 확대해야 하는 과제를 안고 있다. 금호 정책초점에서는 성인인증담배자판기의 합법화를 위한 그간의 파란만장했던 과정과 이번 법률 개정이 산업에 미치는 영향, 그리고 앞으로의 과제에 대해 알아보는 시간을 마련했다

아토피 피부염(atopic dermatitis, AD)은 염증과 소양감을 동반하는 재발성 만성적인 피부질환으로서 심각성이 나날이 커지고 있는 대표적 건강문제이다. 본 연구의 목적은 아토피 피부염을 겪고 있는 대상자를 위하여, 한국전통 식품과 무 유선 인터넷 기반의 맞춤형 영양 관리 시스템을 개발하는 것이다. 신체계측 및 모발 무기질 수치를 입력하면 체질량지수(BMI) 및 내분비, 탄수화물 내응성 등 대사 관련 기능을 판정 받은 후, 이 평가를 기반으로 체내 기능 개선에 적합한 한국 전통 위주의 식품을 추천하며, 동시에 관련 정보, 식품 성분, 요리법 등을 제공하여 대상자 스스로 아토피를 관리할 수 있는 능력을 갖도록 하는 것이다. 결론적으로 본 연구를 통하여 개발된 시스템을 통하여 모바일 사용자들은 장소와 시간의 제약을 받지 않고 어디서나 효과적으로 한국 전통식품 토대의 아토피 피부염 개선을 위한 맞춤형 영양관리를 받을 수 있도록 하였다.

VR 헬스장은 시간적 부담과 이동이 힘든 사람들이 운동을 편안하고 정확한 자세로 할 수 있도록 온라인 헬스와 VR 기기를 접목한 가상현실 기반의 헬스케어 시스템이다. tof 센서가 장착되어 있는 카메라를 통해 주변 지형지물과 실제 몸의 움직이는 모션 정보를 정확하게 전달하여 원하는 장소에서 정확한 자세로 PT를 받을 수 있도록 한다. 원하는 시간과 장소에서 하고 싶은 운동을 할 수 있게 제공하여 시공간에 제약받는 사람도 꾸준한 운동을 통해 건강관리가 가능하여 운동하는 사람이 증가하는 것에 의의가 있다.

질병관리와 의료서비스에 있어서의 공공부문의 역할은 오래된 화두이다. 이번 학회에서도 중요한 주제로 자리매김을 하고 있는 데는 몇 가지 이유가 있을 것으로 사료된다. 첫째, 질병관리와 건강이 갖는 주제 자체의 중요성이다. 건강은 국민의 기본 권리이다. 국민의 기본 건강권을 유지, 향상시키는 데 있어서 질병관리와 의료서비스의 방향 모색은 시대와 장소를 불문하고 우선적으로 다루어져야 하는 주제임이 분명하다. 둘째, 공공보건의료를 전체 인구집단의 건강향상을 위한 총체적 활동으로 볼 때 건강위험요인의 변화와 질병패턴의 변화에 따라 인구집단이 필요로 하는 서비스의 내용이 변화되어야 한다. 그러므로 논의 당시의 시점에서 요구되는 공공보건의료 서비스의 내용을 검토하고 전략을 수립하는 노력은 주기적이고 연속적으로 이루어질 필요가 있다. 셋째, 최근 공공보건의료에 대한 사회적 합의가 변화하는 가운데 공공부문의 역할에 대한 논의가 제기되고 있다. 과거 "공공보건의료에 관한 법률"에서는 공공보건의료 기관만을 공공보건의료 수행자로 정하고 있었으나 최근 수행자의 범위를 민간의료기관까지 확대시키는 개정작업이 진행 중이다. 이에따라 공공부문의 역할과 활동의 범위를 검토하는 기회가 필요하겠다. 본 원고에서는 발표자가 국립대학병원의 공공보건의료 활동과 지역사회 단위의 보건사업 활동에 참여하면서 직 간접적으로 경험한 내용을 중심으로 질병관리와 보건의료서비스 제공에 있어서의 개선점을 제안하고자 하였다.

Purpose: This study examined whether there was a difference in the nutrients and food intake of young children depending on their lunch places. Methods: The dietary survey data of the fifth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2010 ~ 2012) were used. The children were grouped into either a child care center lunch group (n = 728) or home lunch group (n = 592) and their nutrients and food intakes were compared. Results: No differences in the 24-hr energy intake and energy intakes from lunch and dinner according to the lunch places were observed. The percentage of breakfast energy was lower in the child care center lunch group, whereas the percentage of snack energy was higher. In children aged 3 ~ 5 years, the sodium, potassium, and vitamin C intakes were high in the child care center lunch group. The 1 ~ 2 years and 3 ~ 5 year old children's vegetable intake from lunch was significantly higher in the child care center lunch group than in the home lunch group. Children aged 3 ~ 5 years in the child care center lunch group consumed more beans and fish at lunch. The adequacy of nutrients and food diversity of child care center lunch appear better than home lunch. Conclusion: Parents and care providers need to make efforts to use diverse foods, such as vegetables and fish, in children's meals to provide balanced diets and promote healthy eating behaviors to their children.

As the elderly population increases, real-time personal health monitoring is gaining new ground with advances in wireless communications. Such an approach is particularly beneficial to elderly and physically challenged people, as well as those who live alone and are not be able to seek help in case of medical emergencies. The aim of this study is to implement a wearable band which monitors personal vital signs, such as the body temperature and heart rate, and assists with healthcare decisions using a fuzzy logic based decision support system. Since the vital sign data measured from sensors are imprecise and their normal variation with age is nonlinear and not crisp, a fuzzy system is employed to deal with this imprecise or uncertain information. The proposed wearable band is designed to continuously capture and transmit vital signs and healthcare decisions to suitable apps developed for smartphones. In this way, health alerts can be sent to the guardian or caregiver who is registered in the apps.

As the convergence technology is developing rapidly and the portable mobile devices are spreading in ubiquitous smart healthcare, users were able to get medical information easily through the smart health platform. According to such rapid industrialization, wellness care, aging society, information society, changes in disease aspects and life style, user-centered healthcare, and health promotion contents are being offered. In this study, we proposed the mining based mental health and blood pressure management service for the smart health. The proposed method provides the mental health management service and the blood pressure management service for chronic disease patients within the mining based smart health platform. Users receive optimized healthcare services regardless of time and place in the PHR based smart health platform. For the performance evaluation of the proposed mining based mental health and blood pressure management service, F-measure verification are conducted.

"u-home 서비스는 21세기를 대비하기 위한 신성장동력 산업의 핵심에 있으며, 킬러 애플리케이션으로 작용할 것으로 전망된다. 그러나 가장 큰 문제는 이러한 u-home 서비스가 다양한 기술로 구현 가능할 뿐만 아니라 서비스 간의 상호운용성이 확보되지 않았을 때 발생할 사용자의 불편함을 고려하면 산.학.연 관계자는 머리를 맞대고 표준화를 추진해야 할 일이다. 또한 u-city 아키텍처 안에서 u-home을 구현하여야 홈네트워크 산업이 꽃을 피울 수 있게 될 것이다(전호인 경원대 교수)"- 이번 호에서는 가정 내의 정보가전기기가 하나의 네트워크 망으로 융합되어 기기, 시간, 장소에 상관없이 우리에게 편리함, 안전함, 즐거움, 건강한 삶을 제공하게 될 u-home 서비스 및 표준화의 현황과 전망 그리고 전략방안에 대해 알아본다

본 연구결과에서 측정기간 동안 측정기별로 상당한 농도차이를 나타낸 기간을 살펴보면 풍속이 높았던 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서, 기상요소 중 풍속은 미세분진의 측정시 유입속도에 영향을 일으켜 부유분진 측정농도에 오차를 야기 시킬 수 있는 것으로 생각할 수 있다. 결론적으로 건강유해 영향을 일으킬 수 있는 미세분진의 측정에 다양한 측정기가 사용될 수 있지만, 측정장소의 환경적 요소인 실내 및 실외환경뿐만 아니라 풍속같은 기상요소를 고려하여 측정기를 선택하여야 한다.
