This paper is focusing on the optimal size of internal space in which various functions are expressed by means of analogizing appropriate size of passage fitted to characters and reverse-calculating it in comparison with preexisting games, and thus increase the objectivity of data. To this end, the work of making the data objective was conducted in advance, and the experiment proceeded in the way that specially-designed Dungeon can make its way through the passage and in the situation where small-scale combats take place. In addition, the efforts were made to standardize the outcome of experiments by restricting the types of game graphics to MMO RPG. Further, the enhance the objectivity of size of the characters, the game types were limited to RPG games, and it is also adjusted to the character's face size based on the graphic designer's preference. The size of shoulders and arms of characters, inter alia, was selected as distinguishing points to be adjusted to the passage. By analyzing these data, the size of passage was re-organized according to the main characters in the MMO RPG games. Four experimental data was utilized by the 200 game experts in order to select the optimal size of passage in the game. As a consequence, the proportional correlation between character and passage movement was evaluated as successful in terms of emotional recognition.

Plagiarism concerns in the melody of popular music are on the rise. Despite these concerns, standards and methods for addressing these issues are lacking. This study is significant in the fact that it is the first case in the media which started as a controversy on plagiarism of popular music and even progressed to Supreme Court ruling. The first and second trial courts declared the existence of infringement of copyright by recognizing that the music in question was substantially alike as a result of comparing and reviewing the melody, rhythm, and harmony. However, the Supreme Court came to a different verdict on the infringement of musical work by reversing and remanding the case to the Seoul High Court. The Supreme Court indicated that even though the music presented in the first trial is a creative work entirely protected under the Copyright Act, expression without creativity is an area that is not protected under the law. Based on this case, this study seeks to compare and analyze the essential characteristics of melody in the judgment of infringement of copyrights in popular music, and factors related to the judgment of practical similarity and the judgment of idioms that are the criteria for judging infringement of musical work.

This study assesses the necessity of popular music instructor training, and promotes the establishment of popular music educational institutions and certification related to applied music education. Popular music has profound influence in popular culture, and is gradually diversifying. However, successful singers predominantly remain mostly boy/girl performance groups lacking musical skills. This study posits the cause of this problem is the absence of popular music instructor training systems, and suggests solutions. Currently, Korea's popular music lacks a public education system that teaches students effectively. Also, popular music is acknowledged as field-oriented, and isn't recognized for its academic value. Lastly, the lack of professional instructor training system in higher educational institutions creates challenges in fostering effective teachers. Solutions to these problems include establishing dedicated educational institutions and establishing certification programs. Implementing these solutions will provide significant positive effects in developing globalization for the currently stagnant K-pop industry. In addition, these solutions would contribute to the stabilization of the popular music industry, enhancing the image, and developing the popular music industry in general. In conclusion, this study promotes the popular music industry development by influencing and promoting awareness of music professionals, not just applied music students.

With the cultural background of whiteness I did examine the universal meaning of absolute good, the special of psychosis, and the fantastic of femininity and memory/record. As an example I analyzed the symbolic meaning of white used in Korean films. Unconditional goodness, white as a generality: White color in all the films of good-evil confrontation falls into this category. The most obvious and the simplest configuration are the black-white dichotomy. In Nameless Gangster: Rules of Time(2011), The Merciless(2016), Asura: The City of Madness(2016) and The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos(2019), white is the absolute good but it is not limited to a fair key figure. Paradoxically, black is not given only to the side of absolute evil. White is used to be a flexible visual device that reflects the socio-political situation without changing the meaning of the general good. Psychosis and pills, white as a peculiarity: The visual function that emphasizes sado-masochism in the absolute good and the universal symbol of white extends to psychotic specificities such as hysteria. In all the films creating horror, white symbolizes the mentally disabled and the pill for healing. Femininity and haunted white: White of absolute good is expressed by the socio-cultural tendency of femininity and the black-white contrast of vision is applied to the gender difference. In general the women's sexuality is emphasized in color red, but white is arranged in the background. In TaeGukGi: Brotherhood Of War(2004), 71: Into The Fire(2010), My Way(2011), The Front Line(2011), Roaring Currents(2014), Northern Limit Line(2015), The Battle: Roar to Victory(2019) and Battle of Jangsari(2019), white given to female figures sticks to the traditional femininity such as motherhood, sacrifice and weakness. The concept of specters is applied to desires, memories/records, history, fantasy, virtual/reality and social media images. The film history capturing to list memories and moments brings up the specters of socio-political genealogy. Most of films aiming for socio-political change are its examples and white constituting Mise-en-scene records to remember a historical event in Peppermint Candy(2000), The Attorney(2013) and A Taxi Driver(2017).

There has been much advancement in reality enhancement using audio-visual information. On the other hand, there is little research on provision of olfactory information because smell is difficult to implement and control. In order to obtain necessary basic data when intend to provide smell for video reality, in this research, we investigated user perception of smell in diverse videos and then classified the videos based on the collected user perception data. To do so, we chose five main questions which were 'whether smell is present in the video'(smell presence), 'whether one desire to experience the smell with the video'(preference for smell presence with the video), 'whether one likes the smell itself'(preference for the smell itself), 'desired smell intensity if it is presented with the video'(smell intensity), and 'the degree of smell concreteness'(smell concreteness). After sampling video clips of various genre which are likely to receive either high and low ratings in the questions, we had participants watch each video after which they provided ratings on 7-point scale for the above five questions. Using the rating data for each video clips, we constructed scatter plots by pairing the five questions and representing the rating scale of each paired questions as X-Y axes in 2 dimensional spaces. The video clusters and distributional shape in the scatter plots would provide important insight into characteristics of each video clusters and about how to present olfactory information for video reality.
The recent development of 3D and its application contents have made it possible for people to experience more various 3D contents such as 3D/4D, VR, 3D ride film, I-max, sensory 3D games at theme parks, large-scale exhibitions, 4D cinemas and Video ride. Among them, Video ride, a motion-based genre, especially is getting more popularity, where viewers are immersed in and get indirect experiences in virtual reality. In this study, the production process of the genre of sensory 3D image getting attention recently and ride film are introduced. In the material selection of 3D images, the space and the setting up which is suitable to the fierce movement of rides are studied and some examples of the realization of creative direction ideas and effective technologies using the functions of Stereo Camera which has been first applied to MAYA 2009 are also illustrated. When experts in this 3D image production create more interesting stories with the cultural diversity and introduce enhanced 3D production techniques for excellent contents, domestic relevant companies will be sufficiently able to compete with their foreign counterparts and further establish their successfully unique and strong domains in the image contents sector.
Confucius, whose life coincided with the Warring States period of China, is one of the most respected sages in world history whose teachings and life produced countless disciples in China, Korea, and Japan. There are innumerable pictures, sculptures, and other artworks that portray memorable deeds of Confucius and interesting anecdotes that involve his pupils. One of the most popular subjects for these Confucian portrayals is the anecdote in which Confucius and his pupil, Zhi Ru, discover a tilting vessel at an ancestral shrine in the Lu dynasty and use it to understand the doctrine of the mean. The vessel becomes the basis for the famous Chinese expression, "the cautionary vessel beside one's seat," which is nowadays used to denote one's motto for life. Portraits of these tilting vessels can be divided between those showing the vessels only and others that show Confucius observing the vessels. The former serve as visual reminders, for rulers and policy makers, of the doctrine of the mean that is necessary to fair and righteous governance. The latter form part of the pictorial biography of Confucius with educational content and messages. Interestingly, portraits of Confucius observing or studying tilting vessels have been famous among members of the royal court and the literati, circulated either as single artworks or included in the folding screens of human portraits. Portrayals of other Confucian anecdotes are mostly found in albums that visualize the genealogy of the Way; in contrast, the portraits of Confucius and the tilting vessels were included in folding screens that were popular among the literati that enjoyed stylish works of art and antiques. The portraits of tilting vessels thus highlight the diverse functions and symbolic value of human portraits. This study classifies the portraits of tilting vessels into various forms, and analyzes the period-and objective-dependent changes and characteristics in these portraits. With its exploration of the diverse functions and aspects of portraits of Confucian anecdotes, this study will shed new light on how ancient artists reanimated the lives of great sages and how these artworks differ in their expressions and styles.

The purpose of this study is to explore ways in which the flower design industry can utilize podcasts that are rapidly growing in recent years. I selected foreign flower podcasts that are ranked on the global podcast chart, and examined the genre, content, components, show hosts and etc. By analyzing the characteristics of the podcast, the type of communication between the host and the audience, the audience interaction, the industry connection, and the media expansion strategy, I tried to derive the possibility of the flower podcast in Korea. As a result of analyzing foreign flower podcasts, podcasters built listener communities based on their rich experience and knowledge through podcasts and used them for education and marketing. They acted as leaders in the industry or led public opinion such as the sustainable flower industry. Podcast shows were repurposed as various content and used to spread flower design culture. In Korea, flower podcasts can be the basis for the formation of a community related to the flower design industry. Flower design experts can use podcasts as a source asset for various content. Listeners within the industry can get hands-on knowledge about the business from flower podcasts. The popular flower podcast will contribute to the vitalization of flower design culture and industry. Flower podcasts can be a starting point to actively cope with the era of personal media.

This paper analyzes the performances of actor Song Kang-Ho in the background of interdisciplinary and integrated film acting, using performance rather than acting as a general term. If the act is a concept limited to acting training or acting skills, performance is a broad concept that includes expressions, movements, and emotions. The performance on the screen can be explained in the context of film and can be extended to the social attitude of acting. In addition, I used the term screen in terms of representation rather than film referring to medium. Song Kang-Ho expressed the performances of various characters in more than 30 films. Although his facial expressions, gestures, and voices suitable for individual characters in various genres are represented in various ways, personality inherent in the actor Song Kang-Ho integrates persona with character. What drives it is the social attitude of screen performance. As a sign, acting is an ideological construct and foregrounds a character who describes a certain social and historical moment. Song Gang-Ho as actor, persona and character, who asserts the popularity, speaks to society and makes discourse. His comic performance is always confronting the tragedy of life, his face is the spirit of the times, and it expands into social meaning. The face of the close-up does not laugh at all, the gesture symbolized by the curved rear view is exaggerated disorderedly and disturbingly, and the voice using dialect accent does not follow the standard of the vocal.

This is a case study of corporate culture marketing to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the death of Steve Jobs on October 5, 2021. Corporate culture marketing seeks to derive cultural consumer values through Steve Jobs' fandom, and to increase corporate brand image and achieve profits. According to Big Data, Steve Jobs' brand image was derived from 'Innovation', 'First', 'Creativity', 'Change', and 'Design'. So, the relationship between Spigen convergence culture space 'SpigenHall', which is highly related to Steve Jobs' brand image, and the opera , which is made of the material of former Apple CEO Steve Jobs, is analyzed with big data and culture. We investigated the opinions of content experts. SpigenKorea and the digital opera are designed to provide Steve Jobs' story of joy and sorrow, offer VIP members' premium services, press publicity is 'the first in Korea', GangNam's suitable for famous celebrity performance venues and cultural and artistic venues 'SpigenHall', the revenue of the performance ticket was selected as a donation. This study is suitable for researching the life story of male CEOs and planning a cultural city. The limitations of the study need to analyze various works by genre and attempt to analyze consumer values according to the industry.
