This study was conducted to examine the characteristics of pitch perception and temporal resolution through Within-/Cross-Channel Gap Detection Thresholds (WC/CC GDTs) using low-frequency pure tones (such as 264 Hz, 373 Hz and 528 Hz related to C4, C4#, and C5 musical tones. 40 young people and 20 elderly people with normal hearing participated in this study. The results of WC GDTs were approximately 2 ms ~ 4 ms threshold values regardless of frequencies in two groups. There was no statistically significant difference in WC GDTs between groups. In both groups, CC GDTs were larger than WC GDTs, and as the frequency difference increased, the CC GDTs also increased. In particular, in the comparison between groups of CC GDTs, the results of the elderly group were 8 times ~ 10 times larger than that of the young group, and there was a statistically significant difference between the groups. These data also showed a different trend of GDTs in comparison with the previous data obtained from musical stimuli.This study suggests that GDTs may influence pitch perception mechanisms and can be used as psychoacoustic evidence for nonlinear responses of auditory nervous system.

The purpose of this study was to promote an understanding of suicidal ideation and identify the factors that influence suicide ideation according to the life cycle of Korean adults. This study was a secondary analysis study using the Korea Health Panel 2016 data. Among adults over 19 years of age, 14,538 people with no missing values in suicidal ideation and influencing factors were classified into young adults (19-39 years old), middle-aged adults (40-64 years old), and the elderly (65 years or over). The data were analyzed by multiple logistic regression. The results showed that 2.9% (108 people) of young adults, 3.2% (181 people) of middle-aged adults, and 3.7% (80 people) of the elderly had suicide ideation over the past year. Factors influencing suicidal ideation by life cycle were anxiety, depression, drug use and quality of life for young adults, subjective health status, stress, anxiety, depression, drug use and quality of life for middle-aged adults. The factors affecting the elderly were body mass index, stress, anxiety, depression, and quality of life. Therefore, factors influencing suicidal ideation should be considered as a major factor for screening risk groups according to the life cycle, and differentiated intervention programs should be developed and provided to prevent and manage suicide in risk groups.

현대 사회의 산업화 추세로 인해 여성 노동의 증가및 여성의 사회 활동 범위가 확대 됨에 따라서 임산부 여성도 일반인과 같이 일상적인 생활을 영위하는데 부담이 가지지 않도록 적절한 연구가 필요하게 되었다. 그러나 지금까지의 여성 의복에 관한 연구 방향은 정상 체형의 중년, 장년, 노년을 중심으로 이루어졌을 뿐 임신 시기가 한정되고 한정된 시간속의 체형 변화가 급격하기 때문인지 만족스러운 규격 치수와 등급 구별이 마련되어 있는 자료가 미미하다. 이에 임신기 여성중 만삭에 가까운 9개월된 여성의 체형을 body로 만들어 파악한 다음 pattern을 제시하여 좀 더 활동적이고 쾌적한 생활에 도움이 되고자 한다.

가을이면 막대사탕처럼 현재 40~50대 중.장년층의 어린 시절을 영상하게 하는 열매는 진분홍색으로 달콤한 맛과 함께 향수를 자극한다. 또한 6월에 십자 모양의 백색으로 피는 꽃은 예수님이 이 나무에서 운명하였다하여 성스러운 나무로 취급되어 기독교인들의 사랑을 받고 있는 나무이기도 하다. 또한 나무의 수관, 열매, 꽃 모든 것들이 아담하면서 화사하고, 청초하기 때문에 현대인들의 조경수, 정원수, 가로수로 매우 사랑받고 있는 나무이다. 늦가을 겨울을 재촉하는 바람 소리에 새벽잠을 설쳐도 우리의 마음을 한결 부드럽게 어루만져 주는 산딸나무는 화원의 대장 노릇을 하고도 남음이 있을 것 같다. 또한 각종 약용, 식용으로 사용되어 버릴 것 하나 없는 우리에게 즐거움만 주는 나무이다. 하지만 이러한 나무에 해충이 피해를 주니 이들의 종류 및 생태 그리고 방제에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.

이 연구는 안동시 농촌지역 주민들을 대상으로 식생활 및 생활습관과 만성 질환 발생 양상을 조사하여 그 관련성을 분석하고, 이를 토대로 지역 주민을 대상으로 영양 교육을 하여 잘못된 식생활 개선을 도모하고자 수행된 사업 중 일부로, 고혈압 노인을 대상으로 영양교육자료를 개발하고 그 효과를 평가하기 위한 것이다. 실태조사는 농업을 생업으로 하는 경북지역 안동군 농촌지역 14개 지역의 50세 이상 장년 및 노년층 1,472명(전체인구의 약 6%에 해당)을 대상으로 만성질병과 식습관에 관하여 이루어졌으며, 그 결과 전체 대상자의 53.3%가 고혈압 환자로 다른 질병에 비해 이환율이 높았다.(중략)

일반적으로 중국은 전통차 문화가 워낙 강해 커피를 잘 안 마시는 것으로 알려져 있다. 중국의 자판기 산업이 좀처럼 돌파구를 못 찾는 것도 제 1의 타킷시장이라 할 수 있는 커피자판기 시장 개척이 수월치 않는 요인이 크다. 그러나 올해 KOTRA에서 발표한 자료를 살펴보면 중국에서의 커피 소비도 빠르게 늘어나고 있다고 한다. 청 장년층을 바탕으로 커피가 점차 인기를 끌어가고 있는 것이다. 이처럼 소비는 변하기 마련이다. 특히 커피는 범(汎)세계적인 음료로 점차 비중이 확대되고 있다. 아무리 전통차 문화가 강한 중국도 커피의 맛을 알게 되면 파급력이 엄청 커질 수 있다. 이렇게 보면 중국 내 커피자판기 시장도 희망은 있다. 안된다고 단정 지을 시장이 아니라는 얘기다. 과연 중국 커피시장에 어떠한 변화의 바람이 불고 있을까?

바야흐로 국내 인터넷 이용 인구 3,000만명 시대를 눈앞에 두고 있다. 정보통신부의 2003년 하반기 정보화 실태조사에 따르면 국내 인터넷 이용인구는 2002년 12월 기준으로 2,922만명에 달한다. 특히 10대와 20대의 인터넷 이용률은 각각 94.8%와 94.5%에 이른다. 중 장년층의 인터넷 이용률도 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 인터넷의 이용 용도는 주로 자료 및 정보 검색, 게임, 전자우편등이다. 오프라인 상에서도 존재했던 일상 생활의 일부가 온라인으로 변형돼 옮겨진 셈이다. 이처럼 개인 대 개인은 물론 개인 대 단체, 단체 대 단체간에 이뤄지는 전자우편, 메일링리스트, 메신저, 게시판등 온라인 상에서 발생하는 모든 형태의 의사소통을 가리켜 컴퓨터 매개 커뮤니케이션이라고 한다.

To study the ametropia and the sort of glasses, especially progressive multifocal lens, for near purpose on Middle aged & Manhood. 500 adults were tested by the object and subject methods. Among the 500 adults, myopia is 22.4%, hyperopia is 61.4%, and emmetropia is 16.2%, respectively. In test of astigmatism, the amount of astigmatism for the age of forty one to under forty five with-the rule is 28%, the amount of astigmatism against-the rule is 43% and the amount of astigmatism with oblique is 11%, respectively. Whereas, the amount of astigmatism for the age of fifty six to under sixty with-the rule is 10%, the amount of astigmatism against-the rule is 71% and the amount of astigmatism with oblique is 19%, respectively. With-the-rule decreased with increasing age while against-the-rule increased with increasing age. The oblique astigmatism relationship to age could not be determined. The ratio of the progressive multifocal lens was 67.3% for male and 35% for female.
