Relationship Between Climate Change and Total Factor Productivity (기후변화와 국가별 총요소생산성의 관계)

  • This study is to analyze the effects of climate change on national total factor productivity. Changes in temperature and rainfalls which are the representative climate variables are used as main factors to measure climate change. Not only average values of the variables but those highest values are used as independent variables in the model, in order to consider the characteristic pattern of recent climate change, the high volatilities. The OLS results are corresponding to previous literature that average temperature has a negative relationship with productivities while average rainfalls have a positive relationship. However, the results of panel analysis contradict the argument of the negative relationship between average temperature and productivities since human beings can adapt the climate change. Therefore adaptation capacity is important to forecast the effects of climate changes on economies.

  • Electronic record types are becoming diverse, and "composite electronic records," which are made up of various types of electronic records associated with functionality or user interaction that does not exist in current electronic document formats, are increasing. To ensure a continuous access to composite electronic records, metadata construction is a prerequisite for electronic records archiving. In this paper, we propose a metadata that can support archiving of composite electronic records associated with interactive functionality. The common elements were derived from an analysis of both domestic and international file format registry projects, and metadata elements related to functional requirements were identified from the analysis of the records on nursing education e-learning contents. We proposed the metadata elements for archiving composite electronic records, which consist of 25 high-level elements and 138 subelements.

A Study on the Effect of Rivet Layout on the Stress Variation in Doubler Repair (보강재 수리시 리벳 배열이 응력 변화에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • Doubler repair is one of the frequently applied methods to repair cracks which occur at the structure of aircraft weapon systems. The requirement of the doubler repair for some of aging aircraft has increased more recently. However very few researches have been conducted until now. In this paper, the effect of the various doubler repair methods was evaluated. Especially, the relationship between the array of revet and the effect of stress concentration was investigated. To calculate variation of the stress with different repair methods, commercial FEA program was utilized. As a result, it was shown that the main factor for the variation of stress is pitch and number of revet line. Furthermore the optimized array of revet for the specific geometries of doubler was suggested.

  • In our preceding study, we reported that the use of light, composite-material wings in long-endurance Solar-Powered UAVs is a critical factor. Ribs are critical components of wings, which prevent buckling and torsion of the wing skin. This study was undertaken to design and manufacture optimal composite ribs. The ribs were manufactured by applying laminated-layer patterns and shapes, considering the anisotropic properties of the composite material. Through the finite element analysis using the MSC Patran/Nastran, the maximum load and the displacement shape were identified. Based on the study results measured by structural tests, we present an optimal design of ribs.

  • 지난 60년간 일본, 한국, 중국은 물론이고 아시아에서의 공정 산업은 크게 성장했다. 그 발전과정에서 다양한 사고들을 겪고 극복해내는 과정이 있었으며, 최근 한국의 화학물질관리법을 포함하여 안전 기술 및 안전 관리에 많은 진전 또한 있었다. 이 발표의 서두에서는 한국의 공정산업의 역사적 발전에 대해 뒤돌아보며 당면 과제들에 대한 논의를 전개하고자 한다. 장기적인 경제발전의 일환으로 중화학공업 육성을 표방하며, 초기 단계에 정부주도의 적극적인 산업 발전 계획을 수립해 산업의 성장을 주도하였으며, 1990년대에는 어려움을 극복하기 위해 시장 중심의 구조 조정이 도입되었다. 지난 30년 동안 한국사회에서는 가스 폭발, 건물 붕괴, 화물 및 여객선의 사고를 비롯한 치명적인 사고들이 있었다. 이러한 사고 후에는 필연적으로 안전 정책 및 법률에 중요한 발전이 있었는데, 가장 최근의 것은 2012년 유독 가스 배출 사고 이후 화학물질관리법(Chemical Control Act)을 시행한 것이다. 또한 앞으로 20년간 (2036 년까지) 다양한 구성요소의 수준을 정량화할 수 있는 지속 가능성 개념에 대한 강한 요구가 있음은 주지의 사실이다. 지속 가능성의 새로운 패러다임은 에너지, 경제 및 환경의 전통적인 구성 요소로 구성된다. 더불어 지속 가능성은 안전, 보안 및 세계화(globalization)를 다루어야 한다. 미래의 지속 가능성 개념은 이러한 6가지 구성 요소 모두를 하나의 기능으로 정량적으로 통합할 것이다. 특히 이 작업에 대한 강력한 리더십은 화학 공정 산업에서 절대적으로 부족한 현실이기에, 이러한 기능의 통합과 특화된 교육 및 훈련에 대해 한국의 사례와 해외에서의 글로벌 응용 프로그램에 대란 논의를 통해 본 발표는 향후의 발전방향과 비전에 대해 논의하고자 한다.

  • From the geological and engineering point of view, the limestone is so rigid that it is able to act as a bedrock but if there are some unstable elements which are solubility cavity and cracking zone in the ground, the settlement and bearing capacity of a structure will be required to long-term stability investigations and countermeasures about those problems. When comparing the allowable bearing capacity, the results of Bell's method and the Bowles' method are similar but the results of Hoek-Brown's method are very larger than the others. For weathered limestone, stability is changed by size and depth of the cavity of limestone, but soft and hard rock are stable regardless of size and depth of the cavity.

  • 토마토는 주위에서 흔하게 접할 수 있는 채소 중 하나이며 여러 음식의 재료로 사용된다. 토마토는 활성 산소의 생성을 억제하고 항암 효과가 좋으며, 콜레스테롤 수치를 낮추어 주어 혈관을 강화해 준다. 또한, 인체 장기 중 심장은 혈액을 순환시키는 원동력이며 순환계의 중추 역할을 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 대체 및 예방의학에 이용되는 중요한 요소 중 하나인 음성을 이용하여 토마토를 섭취하였을 때 음성 분석 요소인 Jitter와 2Formants Bandswidth의 변화를 분석하였다.

  • 본 연구는 농경지가 주로 분포되어있는 영산강 유역(3,371.4 km2)을 대상으로 농업용수 건전성 및 취약성 평가를 수행하였다. 먼저, 농업용수 건전성은 관개 기간에 농업용수 확보를 위한 유역 환경 요소(하천, 토지이용, 수문, 수질, 수생태, 서식지)로 정의하였으며, 취약성은 용수공급에 영향을 주는 인위적인 변화 요소(기후변화, 불투수층 변화, 농업용수 수요량 변화, 토지피복 변화)로 구분하였다. 각 요소의 sub-index는 1개의 지수로 정규화하여 평가하였으며 Percentile rank 방법으로 계산하였다. 분석결과 영산강 하류의 나주시(5004) 유역의 건전성 및 취약성 지수가 각각 0.33, 0.92로 농업용수 공급에 취약한 것으로 분석되었다. 이에 따른 회복력 및 유지·조치 우선순위 분석결과 또한 농업용 수리시설(저수지, 양수장, 취입보, 집수암거, 관정)을 이용한 농업용수 확보가 시급한 것으로 분석되었다. 최종적으로 본 연구에서 제시한 농업용수 건전성 및 취약성 지수는 장기간에 걸친 유역 변화분석이 가능하고, 농업용수 공급 상황을 예측함으로써 향후 농업용수 확보를 위한 시설물 설치계획 수립에 근거자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • The underground space which has been highlighted anew in view of urban scenery and environmental conservation through the control of ground development and solution of urban problems through making the utility of urban space efficient can promote the urban service, amenity, stability and others by arranging the urban function of ground area to the underground which is anticipated to be demanding the more in the future an also can be effective measures of confrontation in the solution of traffic, the complex in the heart of the city and lack of land through effective construction of the structure of urban space. But it has been understood to be extremely negative space at this time as limited to negative and fragmentary development and it has faced the necessity of constructing pleasant environment by overcoming every problem. After all, through the general research of underground space, this dissertation is reconsidering the development value of environmental design on the basis of the case study in international city development of underground space, and trying to extract design factors which should be treated in developing the underground space by establishing the evaluation model on the functional, techinical and behavioral elements factors.

  • In this paper, we constructed the integrated watershed model system, SWAT-Nak Dong that include areal mean precipitaiton, runoff and water balance components in the Nak Dong river basins and with this model system we are capable of estimating streamflows for ungaged river stations and analyzing the variations of the streamflows. SWAT(Soil and Water Assessment Tool) is a conceptual, continous time model that was developed in the early 1990s to assist water resource managers in assessing the impact of management and climate on water supplies and non-point source pollution III watersheds and large river basins. Using the SWAT-Nak Dong system and various scenarios, we analyzed and evaluated the dams and water uses effects on the streamflows.
