여름용 잠옷착용실태와 구매행동에 관한 연구-충청지역 도시를 중심으로- (A Study on Use and Purchase Behavior of Sleeping wear for Summer in Chungchong area.)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate use and purchase behavior of sleeping wear for summer. Subjects in this study were composed of 591 males and females aged from twenties to fifties, living in Taejon and Chongju. For data analysis, descriptive analysis, $\chi$$^2$-test, t-test, ANOVA, and factor analysis were used. The results are as follows. First, subjects used sleeping wear(a night gown and pajamas), and home wear(T-shirts and sweat suit with zippered top) with similar rates. The subjects, who are females, married, older and have professional jobs, owned sleeping wear such as a night gown and pajamas more than home wear. Also, the mean of using pajamas was the highest, and they were satisfied with them more than others who didn't wear them. Second, one-third of consumers purchased sleeping wear once a year in a specialty store. Consumers mainly searched for information regarding sleeping wear in the display section. Most consumers weren't influenced by others when they made their purchases. When consumers decided to purchase a product, they considered six criteria such as fabric/management, wearing/fitness, esthetic, service, symbolic status, and economic for evaluating. Among them, the factor wearing/fitness was considered the most important. These results imply that consumers would be conscious of sleeping wear even though sleeping wear and home wear are used interchangeably. In addition, consumer behavior concerning sleeping wear is different from their characteristics such as sex, age, occupation, the level of education, and marital state. Therefore, the markets with sleeping wear would be able to be segmented based on consumers’characteristics. Also, marketers should focus on distribution channels to reform the markets of sleeping wear, that is, they may offer products in specialty stores. Additionally, market managers would be able to concentrate on visual merchandising in stores in order to increase brand awareness and market share.

지능형 자켓 디자인을 위한 사용자 요구 분석 (User Needs Analysis for Intelligent Jacket Design)

  • 본 연구에서는 사용자 중심의 지능형 자켓을 디자인하고 평가하는 인구의 첫 단계로 사용자 요구 분석을 실시하였다. 인지 지능형 자켓에 대한 사용자들의 태도 및 요구를 파악하는 사용자 그룹 인터뷰가 실시되었다. 인터뷰 참가자 집단은 도전감(challenge)을 준거로 신기술을 받아들이는 태도에 따라 얼리어댑터(early adaptor)와 래가드(laggard)로 나뉘어 졌으며 각각의 그룹에서 중요하게 생각하는 지능형 자켓의 중요 요소는 서로 다르게 나타났다. 얼리 어댑터의 경우 컴퓨터의 연장선상에서 기능적 요소를 중요하게 생각하였고, 래가드의 경우 옷의 연장선상에서 심미성과 즐거움의 요소를 보다 더 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 지능형 자켓의 초기 디자인 컨셉 방향은 얼리 어댑터와 래가드가 요구하는 각각의 요소에 대응하는 주제로 건강과 오락을 선정한 후, 이 주제에 맞는 구체적인 어플리케이션 아이디어를 사용자 인터뷰 및 아이디어 서술을 통해 수집하였다. 건강과 관련해서는 사람의 생체신호를 체크하는 기능이 운동복 및 잠옷의 결합된 형태로, 오락의 관련해서는 사람의 동작이나 자세를 교정하는 기능이 운동복 및 잠옷과 결합된 형태로 디자인된 지능형 자켓에 대한 요구가 수집되었다.

겨울철 잠옷의 주관적 착용감과 잠옷 소재의 쾌적성능 (Subjective Wearing Sensation of Sleepwear and Comfort Properties of the Fabrics in Winter)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the subjective wearing sensation of sleepwear, and to evaluate the comfort properties of fabrics used in the sleepwear. Design of experimental clothing was pajamas made with four types of woven fabrics: plain weave and satin weave made by cotton and polyester. The comfort properties were evaluated with respect to thermal retention, Qmax, moisture regain, water vapor transmission, and air permeability. The wear trials of experimental clothing were performed in two different environments, single-detached unit($23{\pm}1^{\circ}C$, $45%{\pm}3%$ R.H.) and apartment($27{\pm}1^{\circ}C$, $40{\pm}3%$ R.H), to evaluate microclimate temperature and humidity, and subjective wearing sensation. The results obtained from this study were as follows: 1. There were significant differences between the two environments on the clothing microclimate. 2. In the single detached unit environment, the microclimate temperature who wore cotton sleepwear was significantly higher than that of subjects wore the polyester sleepwear, whereas the microclimate humidity who wore polyester sleepwear was higher than that of subjects wore the polyester sleepwear. 3. In the apartment environment, the microclimate temperature who wore the polyester sleepwear showed higher than that of cotton sleepwear, whereas there was no significant difference between the cotton and polyester sleepwear on the microclimate humidity. 4 There were partially significant differences in subjective wearing sensation according to the fiber md weaving type of sleepwear regardless environment. 5. There were also partially significant correlations among the heat/moisture transmission properties of fabrics, the clothing microclimate and the subjective wearing sensation of sleepwear.

겨울철 잠옷이용실태와 구매시 평가기준 (Using and Evaluative Criteria for Purchasing of Sleepwear in Winter)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate using and evaluative criteria for purchasing of sleepwear in winter. Subjects were 523 males and females aged from twenties to fifties, living in Chongju and Taejon. For data analysis, frequency, descriptive analysis, t-test, and F-test were used. The results are as follows. First, the ownership of sleepwear was sweat suits with zippered top, pajamas, T-shirts/pants, underwear, and nightgown in order. The mean of using sweat suits was used the highest, and subjects used more home wear than sleepwear in winter. Second, the using or sleepwear had a significant difference in cold-sensitiveness and body types. Cold-sensitive group used sweat suit and T-shirts/pants more than cold-insensitive group. Also, groups who are thin wore sweat suit the most while groups who are corpulent, used underwear the most when they slept. Third, subjects, who are married women and use bed, used nightgown, but pajamas were used by groups who are older, married, and professional. Sweat suits and T-shirts/pants were used the most by single aged twenties. Forth, consumers considered the wearing comfort when they purchased sleepwear for winter, and they evaluated washing/management, fabric, design/style, economic, service, brand, and others' response in order, for judging the quality of sleepwear. Also, the evaluative criteria had a significant difference in demographic variables such as sex, occupation, and marital state. These results implied that sleepwear would be needed for winter in terms of behavioral temperature regulation. Especially, cold-sensitive and thin group would wear knitted and two-piece sleepwear for thermal comfort when they sleep in winter. Also, Using and evaluative criteria of sleepwear would be different in demographic characteristics. For winter, sleepwear should be develop based on physiologic as well as demographic variables.

방염가공된 의류에 대한 소비자들의 의식도와 기호도에 관하여 (Consumer Awareness of and Preference for Flame Retardant Apparel)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 1. 방염 가공된 의류에 대한 소비자들의 인식도를 측정하고 2. 방염 관계 법규를 확대하여 12세 이상의 어린이나 기타 연령층에서도 방염 가공된 의류를 원하는지를 알아보고 3. 인산염계 방염 가공제 사용 금지 조치가 방염 가공 의류에 대한 소비자들의 기호도에 영향을 미쳤는지 알아보기로 하였다. Alabama, Tuscaloosa 시에 있는 국민학교와 유아원에 다니는 어린이의 학부모 230명에게 1979년 9월 26일 질문지를 배부하여 그 후 3일부터 10일까지 질문지를 회수여하 83장의 유효한 자료를 얻었다. 83명의 학부모를 Group 1: 유아원에 다니는 어린이의 부모 45명 Group 2: 국민학교에 다니는 어린이의 부모 38명으로 나누고, 두 Group의 각 목적에 대한 유의도를 알아보기 위하여 Cattell,s Profile Analysis를 하였다. 목적 1과 2에 대하여서는 Group 간의 유의도가 발견되지 않았으며 목적3에 대하여서는 Group 간의 유의도가 발견되었다. 목적 3의 각 항목에 대하여 t-tests를 행하였다. 결과에 의하면 응답자들은 1. 방염 가공된 잠옷이 시장에서 널리 팔리고 있음은 알고 있으나 방염가공에 관련된 관계법규에 대하여 완전히 이해하지 못하고 있었으며 2. 방염 가공에 관련된 법규를 확대하여 어린이나 노인층의 의복이 방염 가공되기를 원하고 있으며, 3. 시장에서 방염 가공된 의류와 방염 가공되지 않은 의류가 함께 진열되어서 선택할 수 있는 계기를 원하고 있으며, 4. 유아의 부모들이 국민학생의 부모보다 방염 가공의 해독성에 대한 정확한 지식을 갖고 있었다. 그러나 이들 모두가 인산염계 방염 가공제의 독성에 대한 정확한 지식은 없었다.

조선시대 여자 속곳형 바지를 활용한 유아 잠옷 바지 디자인 개발 (Making Toddler's Pajamas by Using Women's Sokgot Style Pajamas in the Joseon Dynasty Period)

  • Interest in traditional culture has been increasing due to globalization. We need to create fashion items using Korea folk culture like the Hanbok. In this paper, the design development of toddler's pajamas was attempted by using women's Sokgot pants, which were worn by women in Joseon Dynasty period. The study involved a review of literature and an investigation of past relics. Traditional women's Sokgot pants had a 'mu' or 'dang' in the crotch which is called 'the mit' now. The opening of the mit will be used for designing toddler's pajamas. Design suggestions for four styles of toddler's pajamas, which reflect the formative characteristic of women's Sokgot pants, have been created. Research outcomes are as follow: the characteristics of Ran-pants are applied to design 1 and design 2. There have pleats along the waistband of the toddler's pajamas, making the Mu more hidden. Pleats of the waist part are achieved by using an elastic, which also makes the pajamas easier to fit and to wear. The characteristics of Gaedanggo, of which the crotch is opened, are applied to design 3 and design 4. The opened crotch is applied so that toddlers can relieve themselves easily while they are wearing these pajamas. There is also an opening in the centerline of the front Mu in design 4 which gives additional functionality and comfort. This work shows that items of traditional folk dress can be used to make present fashion items.

침상내 기후와 수면과의 관계 (Thermal Comfort and Sleep under Different Room Temperatures)

  • 본 연구에서는, 수면환경의 열적 쾌적도의 측정방법으로서 생리적 반응 뿐만 아닌 국소자극의 반응에 대한 평가법 (Allesthesial Response)에 의 한 가능성을 제시 하고자 하였다. 피험자는 19세에서 22세의 건강한 독일 여자 대학생 5명이며, 실험은 12월과 1월 독일의 KASSEL에 있는 Marburg대학 연구소의 인공기후실에서 이루어졌다. 사용의복은 면 $100\%$의 잠옷이며, 침구는 메트리스와 Wool 담요(두께 180 mm)를 사용하였다. 국소자극 반응의 온도는 $20.0^{\circ}C,\;22.5^{\circ}C,\;25.0^{\circ}C,\;27.5^{\circ}C,\;30.0^{\circ}C,\;32.5^{\circ}C$의 set가 사용되었으며, 온도자극은 Pottier Thermode type PKE 36 HO2-1 (독일, Peltroil사)로서, 온도의 도달정 밀도는 60내지 90초 동안에 각 자극온도의 변화조절이 가능하였다. 수면환경 온도는 $15^{\circ}C,\;18^{\circ}C,\;21^{\circ}C,\;24^{\circ}C,\;27^{\circ}C$의 다섯 환경으로 조절하였으며, 습도는 RH $45\%$였다. 수면환경 $18^{\circ}C$에서 $24^{\circ}C$까지에서는, 수면전, 수면후 모두, 피험자는 약간의 Hypothermia의 경향을 보였지만 Neutral Situation과 큰 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 수면전과 수면후의 체온조절 반응의 차이가 Allesthesial Response와 국소의 쾌적한 온도 선택의 두 실험결과 모두에서 현저히 나타났다. 생리적 반응의 결과에서도 $18^{\circ}C$에서 $21^{\circ}C$까지의 수면환경이 가장 쾌적하게 나타났다. 또한, 실험결과에서 행동적 온도 조절 반응이 생리적 반응에 앞서 보다 민감하게 이루어짐을 볼 수 있었다
