The purpose of this study is to enhance the efficiency of library space usage through analyzing users' behavior in an academic library. Diary methodology was applied for collecting users' activities in the library. 108 students participated in this study, but 84 students submitted their diaries. Among them, 14 participants were interviewed to identify barriers and their needs in using the library. The findings suggest rearranging IT devices to increase use rate of those devices, making plans for reusing the space where it is rarely used, and improving the accessibility of information through browsing in the bookstack area. Additionally, time analysis of users' activities was used to analyze students' behavior in the library.

This paper aims to create standard forms of MRV plan and report, used when policy funds are applied in accordance with ESCO regulations, when energy savings are measured (the savings would be generated as energy users and ESCOs signed the contract of guarantee for energy savings, and energy saving facilities are installed following the contract). To fully reflect the goals and effects of the installation of energy saving facilities, MRV plans and reports will be completed for the purposes of measuring, verifying, and reporting if the goals of energy savings have been achieved successfully. In this paper, the forms of MRV plans and reports were developed with the detailed descriptions for each form and instructions of completion. Based on the developed forms of MRV plans and reports, future studies need to developed guidelines to explain how to fill out these forms considering the application cases by ESCO technology and facility.

International financial crises of the mid-l990s are widely perceived as the trigger that prompted recognition of the need for a new data quality management by the OECD, IMF, Eurostat and individual statistical agency. The official statistics improvements schedule in Korea was launched in 1996 as part of a broader internationally-agreed-upon initiative to strengthen transparency and promote good governance practices. These new initiatives are based on the Total Quality Management(TQM) movement and other management frameworks broadening the concept of quality beyond the traditional statistician's concepts of data quality. This paper aims to evaluate the statistics quality of Land Price Index. Evauation Method is the National Statistical Office's Data Quality Management System which focus on accuracy, timeliness, relevance, accessibility, comparability, serviceability, efficiency.

In this paper, I present a programming idiom for extending message protocols incrementally in C++, where effectiveness of message transmission is regarded as static binding. Our techniques analyze message protocols with a message handler that examines message types, parameters, and effectiveness dynamically. The result of this analysis is not only to cope with incremental extension of message protocols effectively but also to simulate all essential elements of the object-oriented programming. This result also makes it possible to write high level of procedure like message transmission to object groups.

WTO 체제의 출범에 따른 자유무역 강화 추이 및 시장개방에 따른 시장 경쟁강화와 더불어 오늘날 정보통신표준화는 그 동안 개발자 중심의 '기술 지향형 표준화'동으로부터 이용자의 서비스 욕구를 충족시킴으로써 시장 선점을 노리는 소위 '시장 지향형 표준화'동으로 그 방향이 전환되고 있다. 이러한 추세를 반영하여 최근 주요 선진국과 표준화기구에서는 '정보통신표준이 과연 정보통신 제품 및 서비스간의 상호운용성 Interoperability) 확보라는 본연의 목적을 제대로 달성시킬 수 있도록 충실히 작성 및 제정되었는가'는 차원에 보다 큰 관심을 가지게 되었다. 이에 본 고에서는 미국, 유럽, 일본 등의 주요 국가 및 표준화기구에서 추진되고 있는 정보통신표준의 상호운용성 관련 시험인증 정책을 분석하고, 이와 관련하여 향후에 중점적으로 다루어져야 할 주요 연구과제들을 살펴보았다.

국내의 기계 및 설비관련 학과는 모든 산업의 기초가 되는 기계를 다루는 기술인이 반드시 알아야 할 기계관련 이론과 다양한 실기를 통해 산업현장에 필요한 전문직업인 양성에 교육 목표를 두고 있다. 또한 오늘날 첨단 기계 산업의 발달 및 다양화에 따라 생산 및 생산시설 관리, 제품 설계 및 제작, 엔지니어링 마케팅, 컴퓨터 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 관련 업무를 충실히 담당할 중견 전문가 양성도 담당하고 있다. 본지는 지난해 3월호부터 이번호까지 총 14회에 걸쳐 전국의 기계 및 설비관련 학과를 소개했다. 건축물이 첨단화 다양화 되면서 기계설비의 비중이 점차 커짐에 따라 각 대학들은 다양한 커리큘럼을 마련해 전문성 향상은 물론, 개별 경쟁력 확보를 위해 자격증 및 어학 등을 강화함으로써 21세기가 요구하는 미래의 기계설비인 양성을 위해 노력하고 있음을 엿볼 수 있었다. 본지는 이번호를 끝으로 기계설비 관련 대학 탐방을 마친다. 그동안 취재 및 원고 작성에 협조해주신 대학 관계자 여러분께 감사드린다.

한국정보통신진흥협회는 각종 조사통계를 바탕으로 지난 91년부터 정보통신관련 통계 및 문헌정보 DB를 구축하여, 94년부터 온라인정보검색시스템인 CCPA-LINK를 통해 정보통신산업 DB를 서비스하고 있다. 95년부터는 신뢰성 있는 자료를 보다 많은 이용자에게 편리하게 제공하고자 인터넷을 통해 Web서비스를 시작했다. CCPA-LINK Web 서비스를 통한 한국정보통신진흥협회의 정보통신산업 DB활용이 정보통신업계 기초자료 제공의 창구역할을 할 것으로 기대되고 있다. 특히 한국정보통신진흥협회는 통계청이 지정한 정보통신산업의 통계기관으로서 산업의 각종 통계를 실태조사를 통해 작성, 제공하는 만큼 CCPA-LINK의 서비스 DB 내용이 양과 질적으로 더욱 충실해지고 있어 활용자에게 보다 풍부한 데이타를 제공하게 된다. CCPA-LINK Web 서비스는 일반에게 공개되고 있어 누구나 접속할 수 있다.

일본에 있어서 용접역학분야의 연구추이, 연구동향, 전망 등의 문헌을 충실히 소개했다. 연구추이로부터 추측하면. 역학현상의 해명뿐만 아니라 용접에 관련한 연구전체에 있어서 계산기의 지원은 현 연구수단의 주류로부터 옮겨져 왔으며. 이러한 경향은 더욱더 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 이 분야는 저자의 전문분야로서 일본, 세계에 있어서 용접관린학회등에 참가한 경험을 기초로 정리한 것이다. 용접역학 중에서도 용접변형 잔류응력을 대상으로 하는 분야에서는 범용프로그램이 시판되고 있으며 이러한 것은 데이터 작성으로부터 결과의 표시까지 간단히 얻어낼 수 있다. 이와 같은 장점을 보유하고 있기 때문에 일반적으로 널리 이용되고 있지만, 큰 결점 또한 갖고 있는 것을 말하고 싶다. 즉, 범용프로그램에서도 결과의 정당성을 평가하는 기능은 없으며, 결과의 평가는 해석자 자신에 맡겨지는 것이 사실이다. 이것을 충분히 인식할 필요가 있다. 이와 관련해서 실험을 행하고, 해석해를 도출하고, 이러한 결과와 범용프로그램에서 얻어진 결과와 비교 검토하는 등. 반드시 프로그램을 바르게 사용하는 있는 일의 인식을 행하는 일을 강조하고 싶다. 특히, 모델링, 시뮬레이션에 종사하는 연구자 기술자는 실험을 행하고 거기서 일어나는 어떤 사실을 감지하는 일을 권하고 싶다.

본 논문은 멀티미디어의 특성을 활용하여 초등학교 5학년의 음악과 전 영역을 멀티미디어 CAI로 설계하고 구현함으로써 음악에 대한 기초개념과 악곡에 대한 이해와 관심을높이고 학습자에 대한 개별학습과 교수-학습의 효율성을 높이고자 하였다. 이에 따라서 멀티미디어 CAI에 관한 이론을 탐색하고 CAI의 설계원리 및 교과의 특성을 고려하여 Hannafin와 Peck이 제안한 코스웨어 설계모형을 모델로 하였다. 설계모델에 따라 교육과정을 분석하여 멀티미디어 적용요소를 추출하였으며 저작환경에 적합한 스토리보드 형식을 작성하였다. CAI 코스웨어 설계모형에 준거하여 객체지향적이고 상호대화적인 접근을 가능하도록 멀티미디어 디렉터를 도구로 사용하였다. 본 CAI 프로그램은 멀티미디어(Text, Image, Graphic, animation, sound)를 활용하여 주의집중과 동기유발을 높혔고 특히 가창, 기악, 창작, 감상, 이론적 내용, 형성평가의 모든 음악적 영역을 교육과정의 내용에 일치시켜 충실한 교수-학습이 이루어지게 하여 모든 교사의 현장수업에 대한 부담감을 감소시켰다.

Dependent type은 유리수, 리스트 함수, 행렬 곱 등 여러 가지 타입들의 제약 사항들을 충실히 표현하는 데에 필수적이기 때문에 이를 지원하는 타입 시스템을 탑재한 언어를 새로 개발하거나 기존 언어의 다른 특성들을 활용하여 이를 모의(simulate)하려는 시도가 다각도로 진행되고있으며, Haskell 타입 레벨 프로그래밍도 이런 모의 기법 중 하나다. 기존 타입 레벨 프로그래밍은 변별력의 손실이 없는 대신 이로 인해 관련 함수들의 타입이 복잡해지거나 확정하기 어려워지는 경우가 많아서 잘못된 프로그램을 작성할 위험 부담이 커진다. 실제로 dependent type이 필요한 경우들 중에는 매우 간단한 변별력만을 요구하는 경우가 많으므로, 귀납적 자료형을 이진 추상화하여 일부 변별력을 포기하는 대신 상대적으로 간단하게 dependent type과 관련 함수들의 타입을 확정하는 간소화된 타입 레벨 프로그래밍 기법을 제안한다.
