A Study to Increase Strength of Concrete using of Magnetic Water (자화수를 이용한 코크리트 내구성(=강도)증진에 관한 연구)

  • 일반적으로 동일한 배합에서 콘크리트의 강도를 증진시키는 방법중에서 혼화재를 넣는 방법이 일반적이다. 이는 첨가된 혼화재의 양만큼 생산비용이 증가하며, 본 실험에서 콘크리트 강도를 증진시키기 위해 사용한 자화수는 자석을 통과시켜 만든 물이며 제작방법 이 매우 간편하고 자석이라는 비소모성 및 무동력의 장치를 사용하여, 또한 화학물질을 사 용하지 않고 얻을 수 있다. 이때의 자화수는 외관상으로는 보통물과 아무런 차이가 없으며 무색무취이다. 즉 강력한 자장속에 보통 물을 통과시켜서 이온화된 자화수를 얻을 수 있을 것이다. 실례로 러시아 "샤프스쿠스크" 철근 콘크리트 제품공장에서는 자화수를 사용해서 매년 약 15%의 시멘트절약에 성공하고 있고, 모스크바의 철근콘크리트연구소에서 자주 자 화수의 전문회의가 열리며, 매번 좋은 결과를 서로 보고하고 있다고 한다. 본 실험에서는 자 화수에 의한 강도증진효과를 보기 위해서 동일배합에서 보통물과 자화수를 배합수로 하여 각각의 콘크리트 공시체를 제작해 압축강도를 비교하였다. 그 결과 보통물을 사용해 제작한 공시체 보다 4~13% 가량 강도증진효과를 보았다. 따라서 다른 혼화재를 사용하지 않고 오 직 자화수를 배합수로 하여 제작된 콘크리트 강도를 높임으로써, 동일한 배합강도를 얻기 위해서 보통물을 배합수로 제작된 콘크리트에 비해 시멘트 사용량을 줄일 수 있어 이에 따 른 경제적 효과를 얻을 수 있다고 본다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 여러 가지변수에 따라 자화수 가 콘크리트 강도증진에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 알아보았다.는지를 알아보았다.

  • We have studied specific properties of magnetic treated water as processing water will make different cookery form the case of piped tap water. The result is as follows; The magnetic treated water both from tap water and pure water became more alkaline than not-magnetic treated water in pH change. As time goes on, magnetic treated or not, pH reduced considerably in piped tap water and increased in pure water. The magnetic treated water showed higher hydration rate than piped tap water in hydration of dried food. According to time, difference of hydration between tap water group and magnetic-treatment water group became significantly. Surface tension of magnetic treated water was slightly lower than that of piped tap water. And it reduced considerably with time. The magnetic treated water showed significantly effective outflow of salt especially in initial phase of soaking in salt-in food.

  • A magnetic field oscillator was designed and made. The oscillator was installed around a water pipe and radiated into water which was provided for vegetables cultivation. The oscillator was made with a helmholtz coil and installed a magnetic field sensor inside. The class E amplifier circuit with frequency variance was also used. Hydroponic and soil cultural methods were used for cultivation of lettuce and chinese cabbage with magnetic field water and without. Vitamin C ingredients in the lettuce and chinese cabbage which were grown with magnetic field water were 2.8 times and 1.2 times higher than without the magnetic water. Moreover, the growth acceleration effect of vegetables was shown in lettuce cultivated with the magnetic field water.

  • In order to investigate the effects of added magnetized water on the callus induction and plant regeneration in rice, 700G(G=Gauss) magnetized water were used. The callus in-duction and plant regeneration of rice in magnetized water treatment are different from the callus induction and plant regeneration in ionic water treatment. The rates of callus induction in magnetized water media were 27.3% in solid media and 15.4% in liquid which were compared to that of callus induction in the ionic water media 21 and 13.3%. Also plant regeneration frequency in the magnetic water media is 5.4% better than that of the ionic water media. And dissolved oxgen amount of magnetic culture media is from 0.1 ppm to 0.9 ppm more than that of ionic culture media. The pH value was increased with rising of water temperature, and the magnetic water was effected at increasing of pH value.

Study on the Effect of Magnetized Water in the Precipitation Reaction of Salts and in the Hydration Hardening Speed of Gympsum Plaster (자화수가 염류의 침전반응 및 석고의 가수 경화속도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Although it has been known that the magnetized water shows different physicochemical properties, the exact nature of the magnetized water is not clearly elucidated yet. We have explored the effect of magnetized water in the precipitation of salts, i.e., $BaSO_4,\;BaCO_3,\;CaCO_3$, and in the hydration hardening of gypsum plaster. The amount of salt precipitation was measured by salt filter assay in water bath, $25^{\circ}C$ and also the hydration hardening speed of gypsum plaster was measured by the Gillmore needle method at room temperature. When the salt ions were interacted with each other in 0.1 M concentration, the precipitation reactions of $BaSO_4,\;BaCO_3$, and $CaCO_3$ increased more in the magnetized water, about 3.6%, 3.8%, and 4.4%, respectively, than in the control water. And the hydration hardening speed of gypsum plaster increased more in the magnetized water than in the control water. These data suggest that the magnetized water, which is supposed to be organized by forming numerous nano/micro clusters, induces the increase of salt precipitation and also accelerates the hydration hardening speed of gypsum plaster.

자화수에서 염류의 용해속도 변화와 자화수에 의한 NaCl, KCl 및 석고의 결정화 양상에 대한 연구

  • In order to know the physicochemical properties of magnetized water, the experimental methods of column assay, crystalization of saltsand gypsom have been explored to elucidate the effects of magnetized water on the solubility speed of salts, crystal pattern from salt squeous solutions, and gypsom crystal pattern, respectively. In the column assay for salt solubility the magnetized water showed the decreased initial solubility speed of NaCl and slightly increased initial solubility spped of KCI, however, the maximum solugilities of NaCl and KCI in the magnetized aster were almost same in the double distilled water, respectively. The column assay also indicated that the magnetized water showed the decreased initial solubility speed of urea (CH$_4$N$_2$O), sodium citrate (HOC(CO$_2$Na)-(CH$_2$CO$_2$Na)$_2$-2H$_2$O) and (NH$_4$)$_2$compared to the double distilled water, while slightly increased solubility speed of glycine (NH$_2$CH$_2$COOH), boric acid (H$_3$BO$_3$), MgSO$_4$. Crystalization of 1% or 5% salt aqueous solutions by rapid evaporation disclosed that the magnetized water produced more condensed and bigger crystal structure than the control water. The pattern of gypsom crystal formation also indicated that the magntized water enhanced the crystal formation in the hydration reaction of gypsom plaster compared to the double distilled water. Taken together, it was presumed that the magnetized water showed the different physicochemical properties in the interaction with various salts, especially showed the contrast results between NaCl and KCI.

  • The magnetized water is known to have a unique pattern of hydrogen bond between water molecules, thereby producing different physicochemical properties from the ordinary water. We have examined the effect of magnetized water on the change of critical micelle concentrations (CMC) of some surfactants. The CMC changes of SDS (sodium dodecyl sulfate) and CTAB (cetyltrimethylammonium bromide) dissolved in the magnetized water have been determined by the conductivity measurement at $25\;{^{\circ}C}$ and that of SDS, CTAB and Pluronic F-68 have also been examined by the surface tension method at $25\;{^{\circ}C}$. The CMC variation of SDS was examined by ITC (Isothermal Titration Calorimeter) at $25\;{^{\circ}C}$. The CMC of SDS, CTAB, and Pluronic F-68 are more decreased in the magnetized water, SDS is about $2.7{\sim}6.5$25 %, CTAB is about $2.3{\sim}3.0$%, and Pluronic F-68 is about 24.2 %, than in the control water.

  • 대부분의 초전도 전력기기의 경우, 초전도 테이프를 솔레노이드나, 팬케�� 형태로 권선해서 사용하게 되고, 이러한 경우에는 권선을 구성하는 테이프들에 흐르는 전류에 의해 발생하는 자계는 권선내의 각각의 테이프에 임의 방향의 외부 인가자계로 작용하여 자화손실을 발생시키므로 초전도 코일에서의 교류손실을 평가하고 예측하기 위해서는 임의방향 자장에 의한 자화손실에 대한 데이터가 필요하다. 수직 자화손실에 대한 측정값으로서 임의방향 자장에 의한 자화손실을 알 수 있다면 코일의 교류손실 평가는 훨씬 쉽게 접근할 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 측정된 자화손실 값들로부터 각 방향 인가자장에 의한 자화손실과 인가된 자장을 분리하여 수직방향 및 수평방향 성분에 의한 자화손실 측정값의 합과 비교하여 각도별로 두 자화손실의 차이를 살펴보았다.

Four months of magnetized water supplementation improves glycemic control, antioxidant status, and cellualr DNA damage in db/db mice (제2형 당뇨 모델 db/db 마우스에서 4개월의 자화수 섭취 후 혈당, 항산화 상태 및 세포 DNA 손상 개선 효과)

  • Purpose: Water is magnetically charged upon contact with a magnet. Although magnetic water products have been promoted since the 1930's, they have not received wide acceptance since their effectiveness is still in question; however, some have reported their therapeutic effects on the body, especially the digestive, nervous, and urinary systems. Methods: In this study, the effect of magnetized water on glycemic control of 14 diabetic mice (CB57BK/KsJ-db/db) in comparison with 10 control mice (CB57BK/KsJ-db/+(db/+)) was investigated. Seven diabetic control (DMC) mice and seven diabetic mice + magnetized water (DM+MW) were kept for 16 weeks, followed by intraperitoneal glucose tolerance test (IPGTT). Weekly blood glucose was measured from tail veins. Blood obtained from heart puncture was used for HbA1c analysis. Results: Blood glucose level showed a significant difference starting from the $10^{th}$ week of study ($496.1{\pm}10.2mg/dl$ in DMC vs. $437.9{\pm}76.9mg/dl$ in DM+MW). Blood glucose followed by IPGTT showed no significant difference between groups at 0, 30, 60, 90, and 120 min, although glucose level at 180 min was significantly reduced in DM+MW mice. Plasma insulin level in DM+MW groups was only 39.5% of that of DMC groups ($5.97{\pm}1.69ng/ml$ in DMC vs. $2.36{\pm}0.94ng/ml$ in DM+MW). Levels of HbA1c were 12.4% and 9.7% in DMC and DM+MW groups, respectively. Conclusion: These results show the promising therapeutic effect of magnetized water in regulating blood glucose homeostasis; however, long-term supplementation or mechanistic study is necessary.

Design of Parallel Inverse Quantization and Inverse Transform Architecture for High Performance H.264/AVC Decoder (고성능 H.264/AVC 복호기를 위한 병렬 역양자화 및 역변환 구조 설계)

  • 본 논문에서는 H.264/AVC 복호기의 성능을 향상시키기 위해 병렬 역양자화 구조와 역변환 구조를 제안한다. 제안하는 역양자화 구조는 공통 연산기를 사용하여 계산 복잡도를 감소시키고, 4개의 공통연산기를 사용하여 역양자화 수행 사이클 수를 1 사이클로 감소시킨다. 제안하는 역변환 구조는 4개의 변환 연산기를 사용하여 역변환 연산을 수행하는데 2 사이클이 소요된다. 또한 제안하는 구조는 역양자화 연산과 수평 역변환 연산을 동시에 수행하는 병렬 구조를 채택하여 역양자화 및 역변환 수행 사이클 수를 2 사이클로 감소시킨다. 제안하는 구조를 Magnachip 0.18um CMOS 공정 라이브러리를 이용하여 합성한 결과 1.5MHz의 동작 주파수에서 게이트 수는 14,173이고, 표준 참조 소프트웨어 JM 9.4에서 추출한 데이터를 이용하여 성능을 측정한 결과 제안하는 구조의 수행 사이클 수가 기존 구조 대비 38.74% 향상되었다.
