  • 본 연구는 기존 재활치료전문가의 경험 기반 재활치료 훈련기법에서 진일보하여 보다 객관적인 데이터 기반의 효율적인 재활치료 지원이 가능한 보조시스템을 개발하고자 하였다. 근육의 움직임에 따른 활동전위를 측정하는 근전도와 실제 근육의 움직임에 따른 활동 상태를 가속도 및 자이로센서를 활용하여 측정함으로써 재활치료 시 보다 객관화된 데이터의 축적과 치료계획의 수립이 가능하다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 재활치료 중 근전도 신호와 가속도, 자이로 센서를 결합한 재활운동효과 모니터링 시스템을 구현하였다. 그리고 구현된 시스템의 성능평가를 위해 피실험자 5명을 대상으로 다양한 재활치료 운동방법별 근전도 신호와 가속도 및 자이로센서 신호를 측정 및 분석하였다.

Deadzone Elimination of Closed-Loop Fiber Optic Gyro using Pulse Dithering (펄스 디더링을 이용한 광섬유자이로 불감응영역 제거)

  • Gyroscope's deadzone is a region where can not detect the rate even though the actual rotation is applied. This paper analyzed the cause of deadzone by modeling/simulation and introduced pulse dithering method to overcome. From the testing of 3-axis fiber optic gyro system using 900m fiber, it confirmed deadzone could be effectively eliminated by combination of three factors, dither amplitude, dither frequency, and gyro loop gain.

Dither-stripping with the differential of dither rate signal for a ring laser gyroscope (링레이저 자이로의 각진동 센서신호 미분에 의한 dither-stripping)

  • It is required for getting the ring laser gyro output purely related to the input rotation to eliminate the output of the modulated angular vibration from the ring laser signal. In this paper we discuss the dither stripping methods of compensating the ring laser signal by converting the rate signal of dither detector from voltage to frequency for a dither type ring laser gyro. We discuss the differential methods for getting rid of the offset of the V-F signal. And we develope the methods of compensating the phase differences between the ring laser signals and the V-F differential signals by using analog integrator and digital time delays. And also, we develope the gain calculation method by comparing the standard deviations of the ring laser signals with V-F differential signals. We implemented these methods and analyzed the effectiveness of these methods by comparing the dither trapping methods.

Maneuverability Analysis for Spacecraft Installed With CMGs (제어모멘트자이로를 장착한 위성의 기동성능 분석)

  • This paper addresses the Feasible Angular Momentum(FAM) chart that can be used as an indicator for maneuverability analysis of spacecraft installed with control moment gyros(CMGs). Recently, as the demands for high agility of spacecraft has been increasing in order to perform the space mission given to spacecraft more effectively, interest in CMGs, which is a high torque generator is increasing. However, since the CMG has a singularity problem that does not generate the control torque in the specific directions, in this paper, we consider the two pairs of parallel control moment gyros(TPCMGs) that follows the roof-type configuration. The Gimbal space was newly defined except for the space where singularity can be generated and the space where torque error is generated due to the hardware limits. The feasible angular momentum space is defined as a FAM chart, and it is very meaningful that it is possible to analyze the spacecraft's rotational maneuverability effectively by deriving the spacecraft's 3-axis parameters in the corresponding gimbal space mathematically.

Numerical Research on the Lock-in Compensation Method of a Ring Laser Gyroscope for Reducing INS Alignment Time (관성항법장치 초기정렬시간 단축을 위한 링레이저 자이로 lock-in오차 보상방법의 수치해석적인 분석)

  • Generally, the sinusoidal cavity dither is adopted to ring laser gyroscope for eliminating the lock-in which is non-linear effect at the small rotation input. Despite this method, there are some remained errors which are generated at the dither turnaround, and those errors produce random walk which is a general character of a ring laser gyroscope. As one of the numerous research results for compensating these errors, there is a special lock-in compensation method which is the method of error estimation and compensation by comparing the beat signal periods of before and after the dither turnarounds. In this paper, by ring laser gyroscope modeling and numerical analysis, we verified the theoretical validity and confirmed the effectiveness of this method in expectation of the possible beat signal measurement time resolution. As a result, we confirmed the random walk decreases from a-half to a-third by this lock-in compensation method. So, it is expected to be a remarkable method for reducing the INS alignment time.

  • There exist two critical in application of the magnetic bearing system. One is the control axis interference caused by gyroscopic effect and the other is the vibration caused by the unbalance on the rotor. To solve both problems at the same time, first, a centralized full-state feedback controller based on the LQR control theory was designed to compensate for the gyroscopic effect. Second, disturbance rejection control input based on the observer was designed to avoid the vibration causer by the unbalanced rotor. Balancing input computer accroding to LQR and output of the observer were derived in term of rotational speed. Effectiveness of the on-line balancing was verified through numerical simulation. The developed observer-based controller was also applied to the linear and nonlinear magnetic bearing systems.

  • A dynamic model of turbo air compressor having multi-helical gear pairs is developed by transfer matrix method. The model accounts for the shaft and bearing flexibilities, gyroscopic effects and the force couplings among the transverse, torsion, and axial motions due to gearing. The program which can be used to analyze and predict the vibrational characteristics by the mass unbalance of the rotors and gear transmission error of turbo compressor is developed with this system model We expect this developed program to contribute the reduction of the vibration/noise on turbo compressor in the field of both design and manufacturing and can be used as a basic sub-program for CAD/CAM of low-noised gear teeth also.

  • Currently, society thinks human-health is very important. As a result, the number of individual bikes is increasing. And bicycle accident rate is increasing every year. We have developed the safety-equipment utilizing a smartphone. Because, in order to reduce the rate of bicycle accidents. The working principle is that the connection between the bicycle and safety equipment with built-in Bluetooth chip. Information of bike-driving Is measured using a smartphone with built-in gyro sensor. I made an algorithm for specifying a direction by using the values of the gyro sensor. With this algorithm, it is possible to reduce the accident rate of the bicycle.

  • The intravenous injection monitoring system used by medical institutions was developed to remotely provide patients with the amount of intravenous injected and the termination point of the injection. In order to measure the amount of intravenous injection input, the weight or flow rate of the level going out from the inside to outside of the intravenous injection can be observed with a measuring sensor. The criteria for devices that apply herein are accuracy and vigilance. In addition, it is compact and should be easy to use when installing intravenous injection on patients. In medical institutions, the accuracy of the measured values must be high, and economically inexpensive devices are required. In this study, low-cost small-weight-centered load cell sensors were applied, and algorithms were applied to reduce the artefact by external movement by converging with gyro sensors for accuracy of measurements. As a result, it was possible to reduce the error of measurement, thereby improving the accuracy of the intravenous injection monitoring measurement value.

  • In a bank-to-turn(BTT) missile, if a 2-gimbaled seeker was stabilized using a 2-axis rate gyro mounted along its primary axis, the change of line of sight(LOS) measured by the seeker would be induced by rolling effects due to bank-to-turn(BTT) steering as well as an actual change. It is observed that the body-coupled effects in a homing loop of BTT missile are mainly concerned with the spurious target maneuver and the coupling due to the rate gyro misalignments. In this paper, we formulate a simple linear BTT homing loop model with seeker model including each body-coupling. With the model, we analyze the effects of the couplings on the homing loop stability, and propose a direct linear compensator for the coupling to recover the stability.
