A Study on V2X Modeling for Virtual Testing of ADS Based on MIL Simulation (MILS 기반 ADS 기능 검증을 위한 V2X 모델링에 관한 연구)

  • Simulation-based virtual testing is known to be a major requirement for verifying the safety of autonomous driving functions. However, in the simulation environment, there is a difficulty in that all driving environments related to the autonomous driving system must be realistically modeled. In particular, C-ITS (Cooperative-Intelligent Transport Systems) is essential for urban autonomous driving of Lv.4, but the approach to modeling for C-ITS service in the MILS (Model in the Loop Simulation) environment is not yet clear. Therefore, this paper aims to deal with V2X (Vehicle to Everything) modeling methods to effectively apply C-ITS-based autonomous cooperative driving services in the MILS environment. First, major C-ITS services and use cases for autonomous cooperative driving are analyzed, and a modeling method of V2X signals for C-ITS service simulation is proposed. Based on the modeled V2X messages, the validity of the proposed approach is reviewed through simulations on the C-ITS service use case.

Evaluation of Two-Dimensional Space of Human Sensibility Mutation by IAPS (IAPS 사진을 이용한 이차원 공간의 감성 변화 평가)

  • Tn the present study, 9 photographs from the International Affective Picture System (IAPS) judged to express best 2-dimensional sensibility were selected and used to stimulate the subjects. The goal of the study lay in verifying whether or not the consequent affective changes in the subjects can be discriminated psychologically and physiologically in terms of arousal and relaxation. In order to determine affective changes, the physiological signals of the subjects' autonomic nervous system were measured through electrocardiogram (ECG) , galvanic skin response (GSR), skin temperature, and respiration. After stimulation and measurement, subjective evaluation was conducted. Subjective evaluation revealed that affective arousal level could be classified into 4 consecutive stages: arousal 〉 unpleasant arousal, pleasant arousal 〉 comfort 〉 relaxation. Analysis revealed that the responses of the autonomic nervous system, too, could be classified into 3 consecutive stages: arousal, unpleasant arousal, pleasant arousal 〉 comfort 〉 relaxation. By selecting and using 9 photographs from the IAPS deemed best to express Koreans'2-dimensional sensibility, the present study confirmed that it is possible to discriminate changes in the subjects' affective arousal level in terms of arousal and relaxation through psychological and physiological evaluation.

  • More and more people are suffering from sleep disturbance, which can have many different causes. The healthcare industry, which can help people with this disability, is one technology that is currently in the spotlight. However, current services are vulnerable to data concentration, because they are simple telemedicine services that transmit all data to a remote server and process the data on the server. They have a disadvantage in that the data cannot be streamed in real time by synchronizing the biometric data of remotely protected persons. In order to solve this problem, we propose a service structure for streaming biometric data of protected persons to a hospital or guardian in real time, using a self-organizing distributed middleware platform without a central server. We prove that it is possible to provide an effective streaming service by evaluating the service start time and average delay time.

An Autonomous Downlink Power Adjustment Method of Femtocell for Coverage Optimization in Next Generation Heterogeneous Networks (차세대 이종망에서 커버리지 최적화를 위한 자율적 펨토셀 전송 전력 조절 기법 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose a self-optimization scheme for indoor femtocell coverage in heterogeneous networks. If the femtocell coverage is larger than indoor area, neighbor cell users passing by the outer area of the femtocell coverage may request an unnecessary handover which incurs wasteful signaling overhead. On the other hand, if the coverage is smaller than the indoor area, some of indoor users might not be connected to the indoor femtocell. Therefore, we propose the method by which the femtocell coverage attains the exact indoor area employing self-organized scheme. Autonomous self TX power adjustment of the femtocell is possible because the proposed method utilizes handover request events and membership information of users that can be obtained by the femtocell itself. We show that the TX power obtained by the proposed algorithm converges to the optimal TX power that can be obtained analytically to attain the indoor coverage area.

Next, with target scholars and professionals looked at the evaluation of the degree of decentralization and the direction. Last deduced the task of decentralization. Second, the personnel operating is secured autonomy. Local government officials and staff is independent and uniformly control. And it is necessary to recruit such as checks and supervision of the relevant local councils and civil society. Third, the financial decentralization is the expansion. The expansion of fiscal decentralization First, determined the expansion of municipal law prescribed by the regulations within the scope of local autonomy. Next, the local switch through national expansion of fiscal decentralization is necessary. In addition, the expansion of fiscal decentralization need the expansion of the local income tax and the expansion of local consumption tax.

Object Analysis on Outdoor Environment Using Multiple Features for Autonomous Navigation Robot (자율주행 로봇을 위한 다중 특징을 이용하여 외부환경에서 물체 분석)

  • This paper describes a method to identify objects for autonomous navigation of an outdoor mobile robot. To identify objects, the robot recognizes the object from an image taken by moving robot on outdoor environment. As a beginning, this paper presents the candidates for a segment of region to building of artificial object, sky and trees of natural objects. Then we define their characteristics individually. In the process, we segment the regions of the objects included by preprocessing using multiple features. Multiple features are HSI, line segments, context information, hue co-occurrence matrix, principal components and vanishing point. An analysis of building identifies the geometrical properties of building facet such as wall region, windows and entrance. The building as intersection in vertical and horizontal line segment of vanishing point extracts the mesh. The wall region of building detect by merging the mesh of the neighbor parallelograms that have similar colors. The property estimates the number of story and rooms in the same floors by merging skewed parallelograms of the same color. We accomplish the result of image segmentation using multiple features and the geometrical properties analysis of object through experiments.

Distributed UORA Scheme for Autonomous Train Communication in Congested Environment (자율주행 열차의 혼잡 상황 통신을 위한 분산형 UORA 기법)

  • Autonomous train is investigated to increase the capacity of railroad, and the reliability of wireless communication plays a critical role in terms of decreasing the inter-train distance. In this paper, we propose a transmission scheme for autonomous train communication in highly congested environment. The proposed scheme, namely distributed uplink orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) random access (UORA), applies the triggered uplink access (TUA) and the UORA, introduced in the sixth generation WLAN standard, IEEE 802.11ax, for communication devices on vehicle and platform in a distributed manner. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme efficiently improves the packet transmission success rate in highly congested channel conditions compared to the conventional enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) transmission scheme.

  • Sensor deployment makes an effect on not only covering of the interesting area but also reliable data acquisition and efficient resource management of sensor, so that sensors must be deployed at their better place. In traditional static wireless sensor networks, however, it is impossible to deploy the sensors manually when they are distributed in unexploited, hostile, or disaster areas. Therefore, if each sensor has locomotion capability, it can re-deploy itself using the location information of neighbor sensors. In our previous study, we showed that moving sensors to the centroids of their Voronoi polygon is efficient for extending the coverage area. In this paper, we present an improved potential-field-based sensor self-deployment scheme by combining the centroid of Voronoi polygon with the traditional potential-field scheme. Simulation results show that our scheme can achieve higher coverage in shorter time and less movement than the traditional potential-field scheme.

Low Firing Temperature Nano-glass for Multilayer Chip Inductors (칩인덕터용 저온소성 Nano-glass 연구)

  • [ $ZnO-Bi_2O_3-Al_2O_3-B_2O_3-SiO_2$ ] nano-glass has been prepared by sol-gel method. The mean particle size was 60.3 nm with narrow size distribution. The nano-galss has been used as a sintering aid for the densification of the NiZnCu ferrites. The ferrite was sintered with nano-glass sintering aids at $840{\sim}900^{\circ}C$, 2 h and the initial permeability, quality factor, density, and saturation magnetization were also measured. The initial permeability of 0.5 wt% nano-glass added toroidal sample for NiZnCu ferrites sintered at $900^{\circ}C$ was 193.3 at 1 MHz. The initial permeability and saturation magnetization were increased with increasing annealing temperature. As a result, $ZnO-Bi_2O_3-Al_2O_3-B_2O_3-SiO_2$ nano-glass systems were found to be useful as sintering aids for multilayer chip inductors.

Development of Adaptive Moving Obstacle Avoidance Algorithm Based on Global Map using LRF sensor (LRF 센서를 이용한 글로벌 맵 기반의 적응형 이동 장애물 회피 알고리즘 개발)

  • In this paper, the autonomous mobile robot whit only LRF sensors proposes an algorithm for avoiding moving obstacles in an environment where a global map containing fixed obstacles. First of all, in oder to avoid moving obstacles, moving obstacles are extracted using LRF distance sensor data and a global map. An ellipse-shaped safety radius is created using the sum of relative vector components between the extracted moving obstacles and of the autonomuos mobile robot. Considering the created safety radius, the autonomous mobile robot can avoid moving obstacles and reach the destination. To verify the proposed algorithm, use quantitative analysis methods to compare and analyze with existing algorithms. The analysis method compares the length and run time of the proposed algorithm with the length of the path of the existing algorithm based on the absence of a moving obstacle. The proposed algorithm can be avoided by taking into account the relative speed and direction of the moving obstacle, so both the route and the driving time show higher performance than the existing algorithm.
