  • 본 논문에서는 점성 및 감쇠가 있는 단자유도 구조물의 등가감쇠비를 효율적으로 구하는 방법을 제시하였다. 건물에 설치된 마찰감쇠기는 외력의 크기에 따라 정지와 운동의 상태를 반복하여 외부 입력에너지를 소산시키기 때문에 외력과 응답관계가 비선형이다. 마찰감쇠기가 설치된 단자유도 건물은 마찰감쇠기외에 점성감쇠가 동시에 존재하므로 해석적인 정해를 구하기가 어렵다. 등가감쇠비를 산정하기 위해서 첫째, 점성과 마찰감쇠가 있는 단자유도계 건물의 자유진동 정해를 통하여 변위응답과 가속도 응답특성을 분석하였다. 둘째, 자유진동의 경우 응답이 멈출 때까지 소산에너지식을 이용하여 등가점성감쇠비를 구하였다. 셋째, 조화가진 일 때는 수치해석을 통하여 마찰력비 $F_r$에 따른 응답 특성을 알아보았다. 넷째, 조화가진의 경우 에너지 균형식을 바탕으로 등가점성감쇠비를 유도하였다. 등가점성감쇠비는 변위응답비의 영향을 받으므로 응답을 알아야만 구할 수 있다. 건물 응답의 진동수 특성은 협소영역(narrow band)이므로 고유진동수에 의해 지배된다고 가정하여 등가점성감쇠비를 구하였다. 마지막으로, 유도한 자유진동과 조화가진의 등 가점성감쇠비를 이용한 등가선형운동방정식의 해를 비선형 수치해석 한 결과와 비교하여 검증하였다.

Effects of Non-hydrostatic Pressure on Free Surface Environmental Flows (자유표면 환경유동에 대한 비정수압 효과)

  • In the present paper, a new calculation algorithm far solving large scale environmental or geophysical flows with free surface is proposed where the non-hydrostatic pressure component is taken into consideration. Predictor-corrector fractional step approach with explicit, forward time marching scheme in the sigma coordinate system is employed. In order to validate the present calculation algorithm and to estimate the effects of non-hydrostatic pressure on resultant flow and free surface movements, example calculations are carried out for typical steady and unsteady flow problems. Present method can be applied to the meso-scale free surface flows with complex bottom topography where MAC-like 3-d hydrodynamic calculations are quite ineffective and uneconomic.

Linkage between FTA, Energy Consumption and GHG Emissions in Korea : A CGE Analysis (연산일반균형(CGE) 모형을 이용한 자유무역협정(FTA), 에너지소비, 온실가스 배출량 간의 연계성 분석)

  • This study analyzed the impacts of FTAs (Free Trade Agreements) actively being promoted by the Korean government on the Korean economy, energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and found the policy implications in terms of the linkage amongst them. The simulation analysis by using a global CGE model, KEEI-GCGE, found that the effectuation of Korea-USA, the Korea-EU and the Korea-China-Japan FTAs at the same time would increase the real gross domestic product (GDP) of Korea by 2.04%. In addition, the energy consumption and GHG emissions of Korea are estimated to increase by 3.33% and 1.53% respectively. These results imply that the various medium and long-term plans and policies related to energy and GHG emissions in Korea should systematically reflect those potential impacts of the FTAs.

  • The goal of the study is to analyze aggressive attempts of China and Japan to construct the Siberia oil pipeline in a direction to its advantage from the political economic perspective. The pipeline is to affect significantly energy Policies in the Northeast Asia in the future. First this Paper reviews the ongoing Processes of the Pipeline construction thus far. Next, domestic and foreign factors in Russia which are related to the laying of the pipeline, were taken into consideration. Applicability of the mercantilist and liberalist approaches to the energy supply of Russia were examined in the situation. As a result, the dualistic approach in energy supply was found to be limited in its real applicabilities and the political economic approach proved to be more suitable in that Russia currently seeks economic security in Northeast Asia. Finally the implications of the Siberia oil pipeline construction were suggested for the current energy situation in Korea.

  • A powerful analytical procedure and strain energy analysis to investigate the free vibration of antisymmetric angle-ply laminated plates, having one pair of opposite edges simply supported, are develped on the basis of the Yang, Norris and Stavsky (YSN) theory. The equation of motion of the plate are solved by the use of collocation method. A range of results are presented for plates to show the effects of modulus ratio and number of layers on natural frequency. In addition, an analysis of the strain energy distributions is used as an aid for the better understanding of the vibration characteristics of the plates.

Thermal dissociation of excitons bound to neutral acceptors in CdTe single crystal (CdTe 단결정에서 중성 받게에 구속된 엑시톤의 열 해리)

  • The dissociation of excitons bounds to neutral accepter in CdTe single crystal was investigated by measurement of temperature dependence of the photoluminescence spectra. The binding energies of CdTe single crystal were determined by PL spectrum at 12K. The free exciton (X) binding energy, the exciton binding energy on neutral donor ($D^{\circ}$, X), and the exciton binding energy on neutral acceptor ($A^{\circ}$, X) were 10 meV, 3.49 meV, and 7.17 meV respectively. From the value of activation energy of ($A^{\circ}$, X), we could show that the dissociation of ($A^{\circ}$, X) is attributed to free exciton.
