The Effect of Natural Surveillance of Detached House on the Fear of Crime (단독주택의 자연적 감시 확보가 범죄 두려움에 미치는 영향)

  • Since the 1950s, crime prevention was to figure out how dissident. Unlike traditional crime prevention was a point of view. Physical environment and a method to prevent crime, "Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design: CPTED)" is the prevention of crime, property crime, criminals and human right with the surrounding environment. These CPTED has a variety of factors. Natural surveillance of these is the most basic elements. Natural surveillance is monitored by monitoring the behavior of criminals, to prevent crime. CPTED was the large majority of existing studies focused on a study area. However, this study examined the area around a house. Made to secure the hypothesis of natural surveillance to affect fear of crime. Research on fear of crime and crime victimization declined. Thus, the securing of natural surveillance proved to be effective in crime prevention in this study.

  • 해안의 자연지형은 흐름의 변화에 대해서 자신의 특성을 조절하는 능력을 가지고 있다. 흐름의 변화는 자연적 변화와 인위적 변화로 구분할 수 있다. 자연적 변화는 해일, 조류, 취송류 등에 의한 변화가 있다. 또한, 댐 방류량 조절 및 온배수 제트 등은 해안 흐름의 변화를 야기하며, 항만 등 수공구조물의 건설에 의해 흐름이 인위적으로 변화된다. 흐름이 변화하게 되면 이전의 동적 평형상태에 있던 해안은 수리학적 혹성, 유사특성의 변화를 초래하여 평형상태는 깨지게 된다. (중략)

An Optimization Model Based on Combining Possibility of Boundaries for Districting Problems (경계 결합 가능성 기반 구역설정 최적화 모델)

  • Districting is a spatial decision making process to make a new regional framework for affecting human activities. Natural barriers such as rivers and mountains located within a reorganized district may reduce the efficiency of reorganized human activities. This implies that it is necessary to consider boundary characteristics in a districting process. The purpose of this research is to develop a new spatial optimization model based on boundary characteristics for districting problems. The boundary characteristics are evaluated as continuous value expressing the possibility of combining adjacent two basic spatial units rather than a dichotomous value with 1 or 0 and are defined as an objective function in the model. In addition, the model has explicitly formulated contiguity constraints as well as constraints enforcing demand balance among districts such as population and area. The boundary attributes are categorized into physical and relational characteristics. Suitability analysis is used to combine various variables related to each boundary characteristic and to evaluate the coupling possibility between two neighboring basic units. The model is applied to an administrative redistricting problem. The analytical results demonstrate that various boundary characteristics could be modeled in terms of mixed integer programming (MIP).

A Study on the Residential Satisfaction of Single Youth Households Tenants (청년 1인가구 임차인의 주거만족도에 관한 연구: 부산·경남지역을 중심으로)

  • To suggest implications of future housing problems, this study investigates which characteristics affect the housing satisfaction of young single households. Using the survey data, we perform the multiple regression and decision tree models based on the SPSS Statistics 25.0. Our empirical results show several key features. First, housing characteristics and intention to continue single households had a positive (+) effect on housing satisfaction, in the order of natural, housing, physical characteristics, and intention to continue single households. Second, housing characteristics and intention to marry in the future had a positive (+) effect on housing satisfaction in the order of natural, housing, and physical characteristics. Third, housing characteristics and intention to increase household members in the future had a positive (+) effect on housing satisfaction, in the order of natural, housing, and physical characteristics satisfaction. Finally, the results of the decision tree model show that the natural characteristics were over 3.4, and housing satisfaction was the highest in the case of Jeonse. The results of this study provide three implications for policymakers. First, improving the residential environment of young single households is important. Second, providing customized housing for young single households could enhance the housing satisfaction of young people. Finally, housing provision needs to be carried out with suitable space for the lifestyle of young single households.

  • 교통수단의 발달과 경제활동이 활발해짐에 따라 많은 오염문제가 발생하였는데, 특히 대도시를 중심으로 증가한 차량과 경제활동에 필요한 에너지 소비의 증대로 대기오염의 심각성은 더욱 커지게 되었다. 일반적으로 대기중 부유 분진의 발생원은 토사의 재 비산이나 해염 입자, 화분 등과 같은 자연적인 발생원과 산업시설, 소각시설, 가정난방, 수송수단의 이용 등의 인간활동에 의한 인위적인 배출원으로 대별되는데, 인위적인 배출원의 영향은 자연적 발생원에 비해 그 영향이 보다 폭넓고 중요하게 다루어지고 있다. (중략)

Estimation of irrigation water need with climate change in Jeju Island (인위적·자연적 요인에 따른 제주도 농업용수 과부족 전망)

  • 본 연구에서는 제주도 지역을 대상으로 현재의 용수공급 보장량을 기준으로 미래 인위적 자연적 요인에 따른 수요량의 변화를 고려하여 농업용수 과부족을 분석하였다. 인위적인 요인으로서 작물재배면적의 변화를 고려하였으며, 자연적인 요인으로서는 기후변화 영향을 고려하였다. 제주도의 유출특성과 지질특성, 물이용 특성 등을 고려하여 유역 물수지 기반의 순물소모량 개념을 활용하여 수요량을 추정하였으며, 농업용수 보장량(공급량)은 "제주특별자치도 농업용수 관리계획(2013-2022)"에서 제시하는 값을 적용하였다. 순물소모량 산정에 필요한 실제증발산량 및 잠재증발산량 등은 유역모형인 SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool)을 이용하여 산정하였다. 인위적인 변화로서 2020년 작물재배면적 추정치를 적용하여 용수 과부족을 분석한 결과, 구좌읍과 성산읍 2개 지역에서 수요량이 보장량을 초과하는 것으로 나타났다. 참고로 기존의 필요수량 개념의 수요량을 적용했을 때에는 제주시 동지역, 구좌읍, 조천읍, 서귀포시 동지역, 성산읍, 표선면, 남원읍, 안덕면, 대정읍 등 9개 지역에서 용수가 부족할 것으로 분석된 바 있다. 미래 기후변화 영향을 고려하기 위하여 IPCC (International Panel on Climate Chnage) CMIP5(the fifth phase of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project)에서 제시하는 대순환모델 중 9개 모형의 결과를 활용하여 미래(2010~2099년)의 수요량을 산정하고, 앞서 적용한 2020년 재배면적 추정치와 보장량을 기준으로 지역별, 시기별로 농업용수 과부족을 분석하였다. 기후변화 시나리오는 RCP 4.5와 RCP 8.5 결과를 적용하였다. 인위적인 영향에 대한 분석과 마찬가지로 구좌읍과 성산읍을 제외하고는 수요량 대비 보장량이 충분한 것으로 분석되었다. 시나리오에 따른 영향은 RCP 8.5 보다는 RCP 4.5 시나리오에서의 보장률이 상대적으로 높게 나타났으며, 2개 시나리오 모두 미래 후반기로 갈수록 수요량의 증가에 따라 보장률이 점차 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 다만, 이 분석은 재배면적의 변화가 없이 단순히 기상조건의 변화만을 적용한 전망으로서, 향후 실제 기상여건과 재배면적, 물이용, 용수공급체계, 물관리 정책방향 등의 변화에 따라 좌우될 수 있다.

Analysis of Occurrence Characteristics of Pine Wilt Disease in Korea based on Monitoring Data from 2016 to 2018 (국내 소나무재선충병 발생 특성 분석: 2016~2018년 예찰데이터를 기반으로)

  • Understanding the occurrence characteristics of pine wilt disease (PWD) is essential for determining a suitable strategy to minimize the damage caused by PWD. Thus, in this study, we characterized various environmental conditions, including meteorological factors, geographical factors, and artificial factors influencing the occurrence of PWD. The occurrence data of PWD from May 2016 to April 2018 and spatial data of various environmental factors, including natural and anthropogenic factors, were collected. We evaluated the relative contribution of the environmental variables on the number of dead pine trees by PWD. In this study, among the 17 natural and anthropogenic factors, the factors affecting the occurrence of dead trees by PWD were verified. The results showed that altitude and temperature from May to August, among natural factors, and distance to building and forest road among anthropogenic factors were the most influential factors on the occurrence of PWD.

On the in situ Measurement Method of Headphones using Head And Torso Simulator (HATS를 이용한 헤드폰의 in situ 측정방법에 관하여)

  • The standard measuring method of the frequency characteristics of headphones has been needed because different results come from the different measuring methods because of the lack of the reasonable measuring method of headphone characteristics, for example, in the case of psycho-acoustic experiments with headphones. In this paper, based on this fact, we studied the measurement method of headphones based on the natural hearing condition of human being, that is in situ measuring method, by measuring the headphone frequency characteristics using an artificial ear and a newly proposed device, HATS(Head And Torso Simulator). From the result of this paper, we could see that the method appropriate to a so called in situ condition was the one wi9th HATS, Because HATS simulated more correctly the acoustic impedance of the ear and the diffraction effect of the human head than the artificial ear.

Analysis of the Location Characteristics of Urban Silver Towns (도시형 실버타운의 입지특성 분석 연구)

  • Unlike the past, the elderly who are growing rapidly in Korea are called 'active seniors'. They prefer to live in urban silver towns despite high living cost and make their own new urban contents. The new urban contents that reflect the living characteristics of active seniors have an important impact on their choice of residential location. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the location characteristics of urban silver towns, which are preferred as the main residence of active seniors, based on the urban living contents of active seniors. The location characteristics of urban silver towns considering the urban living contents of active seniors can be classified 1) public transportation, 2) nearby arterial roads, 3) culture shopping facilities, 4) medical facilities, 5) apartment complexes, and 6) natural environments. Especially, the accessibilities of medical facilities, apartment complexes, and culture shopping facilities were the main characteristics of urban silver towns. The results of this study are expected to be helpful not only the location of urban silver towns, which is the urban new content of active senior, but also for the policy on housing for the elderly.
