In this study, the bracket for car was designed in 3D using Cimatron Die Design, one of the automatic modules. To facilitate the stamping of the product, the layout of the strip was adjusted slightly. The blank layout of the double-width, 2-line, 2-pull out inner carrier was then optimized as a single arrangement. 3D design was completed in 11 processes.

Consumer satisfaction and feelings with form play an essential role in determining the success of a product. However, contemporary industrial design processes typically employ designer driven, intuitive methods for generating and evaluating form concepts. This paper describes the implementation process of web based design support system that helps assess customer's feelings or sensibilities of forms created in each stages of design process. The present web based approach provides designers with fast and various feedbacks about their design in each stage by using assessment with object VR and web 3D as well as ordinary 2D images. Practical application for exterior design of electric vehicle was illustrated and the further refinement of the design support system was discussed.

Hologram that usually used in modern art performance and movie, is now also used in different area such as architecture, car design, IT, medicine, design and different types of multi-media art performance. This study is to analyze how hologram works in stage production and affect in variety types of art performance and also how it affects in future art performance.

최근 임베디드 시스템 기술은 마이크로프로세스의 저가, 소형화, 고성능화에 따라 제품 경쟁력의 핵심이 H/W 생산기술에서 S/W 시험$\cdot$품질보증기술로 이동하고 있다. 그러나 마켓-플레이스의 다양한 임베디드 S/W 아키텍처 및 개발환경은 임베디드 S/W 자동차 시험방법에 대한 제약을 지닌다. 이에 본 논문에서는 동적 인스트루멘테이션(Dynamic Instrumentation)을 기법 및 그에 대한 디자인 프레임워크(Design Framework)를 제시한다. 이러한 동적 인스트루멘테이션 기법을 적용한 프레임워크는 다양한 임베디드 시스템 환경을 추상화(Abstraction)하여 임베디드 S/W 시스템의 신시간 수행과정에서 고품질달성과 관련된 데이터를 수집하고 분석하는데 이용되어질 수 있다.

고도 정보사회의 진전에 있어 정보의 수집, 정보의 전달 등을 위해, 여러 IT기기가 사용 되어지고 있다. 이러한 상황 속에서 IT기기를 장애자나 고령자를 포함, 누구나가 쉽게 이용 할 수 있도록 하는 유니버설디자인은 매우 중요한 일이다. 특히 상체부자유자의 인터페이스 장치로서 시선입력장치가 주목 받고 있다. 이러한 시대적인 흐름에서 본 연구에서는 Eye-gaze Interface를 이용한 시선입력만으로 컴퓨터상에서 한글입력이 가능한 한글 입력 시스템을 개발 제안한다. 또한 본 연구의 목적으로는 기존의 키보드, 마우스에 의한 입력장치와 Eye-gaze Interface를 이용한 입력 장치와의 정점과 단점을 비교 분석하고, 정보 사회에 있어서의 장애자와 고령자들의 Barrier Free에 관한 연구를 기본 목적으로 하고 있다 본 연구의 Eye-gaze Interface는 Eye Tech Digital System회사의 Quick Glance System를 사용한다 장애자와 고령자를 대상으로 한 사용자 평가 실험에 의해 실험을 진행 하였으며, 한글의 음운규칙에 관한 연구를 기초로 한글뿐만 아니라 영어, 일본어가 입력 가능한 입력 시스템을 제안한다. 이것은 컴퓨터 조작이 곤란한 장애자와 고령자가 일반인과의 자연스러운 커뮤니케이션이 가능하도록 한 것이다. 향후 Eye-gaze Interface를 이용한 응용분야 또한 게임, 영상, Eye Book, 자동차운전 둥 다양한 분야에 적용 가능하리라 기대된다.

금속 3D 프린팅의 응용분야는 자동차, 우주항공, 의료/헬스, 전자기기, 금형 등으로 분류할 수 있다. 최근 들어 선진국을 중심으로 아크 용접기반 금속 3D 프린팅 기술의 연구개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 3D 프린팅 기술은 CAD 설계 정보를 이용한 적층 제조방식이기 때문에 내부 형상이 아무리 복잡하여도 제작이 가능하고, 디자인이 변경되더라도 별도의 금형 제작 없이 제작이 가능하다는 장점이 있다. 와이어 아크기반 금속 3D 프린팅 기술은 차세대 생산제조 핵심기술로 발전할 전망이다. 금속 3D 프린터의 기술경쟁력 제고를 위해서 적층패턴, 와이어정밀 송급 및 적층품질 실시간 모니터링 등의 시스템 제어 기술과 대형 금속부품의 고생산성을 위한 적층가공 시스템 기술개발이 진행될 것으로 예상된다. 금속 와이어 아크를 이용한 대형 3D 프린팅 시스템의 지식재산권 확보 전략을 수립하기 위해 대형 3D 프린터 기술, 금속 와이어 3D 프린터 기술, 아크 3D 프린터 기술의 세 가지 분야에 대한 특허동향 분석을 수행하였다.

In recent years, the development and market participation of major makers of next-generation eco-green vehicles has been accelerating. Consumer interest has also increased. Consumer characteristics, consumption type, characteristics of next-generation eco-friendly vehicles, and government policies on next eco-green vehicles. The results of this study are as follows. In Korea, there was no significant difference by gender, age, monthly average income, and consumer type. However, there was no significant difference in purchase intention by gender, age, and monthly income, Respectively. In the case of Japan, there was no significant difference by gender, age, monthly income, and consumer type. In Korea, on the other hand, images such as brand, color, and design have positive effects on eco-friendly vehicles. In the case of Japan, image and stability have a positive effect on consumers' purchasing behavior. Therefore, it is important for Japanese consumers to consider not only the image of purchasing an eco-friendly vehicles, but also the safety of the vehicles body, appear. In the case of Korea, the socio-environmental value-seeking type has a significant relationship with the purchasing intention. In the case of socio-environmental value-seeking type, the government's support policy such as carbon dioxide tax, direct support from the national or local governments, gasoline tax, Carbon tax and fuel related tax relief showed positive effects. In the case of Japan, the price-seeking type and the socio-environmental value-seeking type were found to have a significant relationship with the purchasing intention. Both the price-seeking type and the socio-environmental value-seeking type showed that the carbon dioxide tax, Direct support, gasoline tax, gasoline tax, and carbon tax, etc. have positive effects.

As services for citizens' security and protection offered at the national and social levels become more widely recognized across society, the more frequent use of ambulances by patients with both minor and major injuries is being observed. However, the number of safety accidents during transport by ambulances, which are responsible for the prompt transport of patients, has been rising in tandem with the increase in their use. This is due not only to their inconspicuousness both on the road and in other environments where these vehicles are exposed, but also to the high chance of secondary accidents, putting the lives of both patients and emergency responders at risk. It is important to study and develop designs that guarantee protection against safety accidents, noting that ambulances are completely exposed and unprotected on the road on cloudy days and at night-time. In addition, by identifying colors and design motives that enhance the conspicuity of ambulances from a distance and increase their security, emergency responders and patients can be safely protected, the identity of the ambulances can be reinforced and modernized, and the sense oppression which can be visually imposed on patients in a psychologically unstable condition can be eased. Against this backdrop, this study presents the process involved in deriving the exteriors of ambulances in Korea, including their colors and patterns, by examining the established global best practices and identifying the need for more studies into colors, even unconventional ones, that improve their safety.

Recently, according to the increasingly populated data, many media and organizations focus on big data, data visualization, information visualization and infographics. Domestically, Chosun.com and Hankyoreh online have improved on the data visualization field and internationally, the Guardian, Wall Street Journal, and New York Times are the leading companies on that area. Until now, many people have recognized infographics as a design-oriented product in Korea. However, one of significant data visualization programs, Tableau Public, can visualize data more efficiently. In this paper, Data Visualization Methods Quadrant for Policy Making is defined, and data analysis and producing infographics are executed. As used data, World Bank open source was adopted and using the number of passenger cars per 1,000 people, two analysis results are extracted. First, in high income group, the more GNI per capita, the lesser Slope is represented and in mid income group, the more GNI per capita positively affects to Slope. Second, in the global finance crisis, the car ownership rate was about 1.7 times than the usual state in the global economy. Through the case study, this paper suggests that the direction of producing infographics should be changed from design-oriented to data-oriented. Moreover, the data-oriented infographics should be propagated as means of scientific research and policy making.

The driving methods of car are front wheel drive, rear wheel drive and four wheel drive. At driving methods, constant velocity joint is the most important part at carrying out two functions for converting to the direction which the driver wants and transferring the power to wheels. At driving on the road, the impact can be applied to the parts transmitting power according to the state of road surface. In this study, each models of three constant velocity joints whose shaft length are different respectively were modelled with CATIA and the structural and fatigue analyses were carried out by using ANSYS. This study result is thought to be the useful material at designing the constant velocity joint with the durability against impact. And it is possible to be grafted onto the convergence technique at the design of constant velocity joint and show the esthetic sense.
