  • Two-dimensional MT (Magneto-Telluric) modeling is performed to verify the validity of difference arrow for GDS(Geomagnetic Depth Sounding) survey. The electromagnetic mutual coupling between the sea and in-land conductor is used as a criterion that judges the validity of difference arrow. In this study, the mutual coupling between them is examined according to the spatial distance between them and the period of magnetic variations. The difference arrow is valid for conductors located at surface which are far from the sea or when the long period is used, but the mutual coupling is weak for buried conductor in all the periods. However, when a conductor extends vertically down to the deep part, the validity of difference arrow is in doubt, since the strong mutual coupling influences up to the long period. Therefore, to remove the known conductor effect such as sea effect from the observed induction arrow, the mutual coupling between them must be examined and the caution must be exercised in interpreting the resultant difference arrow if mutual coupling between them is strong.

  • Asserting a sentence of the form "p but I do not believe that p" sounds inappropriate, and even absurd or contradictory. The problem that Moore's paradox raises is to explain why asserting such a sentence is absurd despite the fact that there is apparently no logical contradiction in it. Many of the influential accounts of Moore's paradox try to locate its source in the nature of belief or in the nature of assertion. In this paper, I argue that these accounts are not satisfactory, and develop and defend a novel account. According to this account, the source of Moore's paradox should be located in self-reference. Self-reference is constituted by a certain disposition to form second-order beliefs. A subject who is ready to assert "p but I do not believe p" fails to conform to the disposition that is constitutive of self-reference, while at the same time referring to the relevant individual with "I."

  • We have performed 3-D geomagnetic induction Modeling considering with anomalous conductive structures to interpret the conductive anomaly proposed by previous studies on the Korean Peninsula. The results of modeling coincide well with the observed induction arrow. we confirm the fact that Imjin River Belt and Ogcheon Belt presumed in the model are reasonable. In the western-middle area of the peninsula (YIN, ICHN) the induction arrows seem to reflect the existence for the Imjin River Belt and the induction arrows in western-south area (HNS, CHY, DZN, MWN) is likely to reflect the effect of the Ogcheon Belt. The difference arrows, calculated by subtracting the sea effect from observed induction arrow in the western area of the peninsula at the period of 60-minutes, show little difference with the observed induction arrows. Especially, the difference arrows in YIN, ICHN also show a similar pattern to those at the periods longer than 10-minutes. These results strongly suggest that the Imjin River Belt and the Ogcheon Belt extend down to the deep part of the crust in spite of the limitation of our model.

  • The three-dimensional MT(Magneto-Telluric) modeling is performed to examine the validity of difference arrow of GDS(Geomagnetic Depth Sounding) survey, In this paper, we investigate the validity of the difference arrow on three configurations of conductors; which is located 1) at surface, 2) at the deep part and 3) vertically extended f개m surface to the deep part, respectively, For conductors located at surface, the validity of difference arrows is certified in our numerical model when long periods over 40 minutes are used or the distance between sea and conductor is over 150 km. However, for conductors located at the deep part, the validity of difference arrow is dependent on the size of conductors. Further, if the size of conductor is adequately larger than that of our model, we recognize the possibility that the mutual coupling of them influences up to longer periods, Moreover, in case of conductors which is vertically extended from surface to the deer part, the mutual coupling of them is reinforced for all periods, especially for longer periods, so that the validity of difference arrow is considerably in doubt. Therefore, to remove the known conductor effect such as the sea effect from the observed induction arrow, the mutual coupling between them must be examined. The difference arrow that certifies the validity in this way can only provide the Subsurface information based on physical supports.

  • We applied fMRI to examine brain activation at intentionality detection (ID) task. The main purpose of this study was to explore whether brain activation regions involved in intentionality detection (known as the basic mechanism of theory of mind) differ or not, according to prior instruction. Left uncus, superior temporal gyrus and right inferior occipital gyrus, supramarginal gyrus, inferior parietal lobule, thalamus (medial dorsal nucleus), and precuneus were activated with prior instruction. In contrast, ID task with no instruction activated merely inferior parietal lobule and superior parietal lobule. Common activated area between the two instruction conditions was inferiordparietal lobule. Our results suggest thar prior instruction activated ID-related brain regions more explicitly. furtherdinvestigations would be loused on spontaneity of intentionality detector and characteristic of participants.

  • The purpose of this research is to guide the development of the program for the Directive Individual Sand Box Play for the improvement of the self-esteem of children of the dissolved multicultural families. For quantitative analysis data, the scores from before and after the program were compared. The SPSS 18.0 Package was used for statistical analysis. For the qualitative analysis, the linguistic changes in B children during the session were collected and analyzed using the self-expression scale. The research period lasted for around 3 months from February 2017 to May 2017, for a total of 12 sessions which included individual activities, 1 session of group activities, and 1 night and 2 days of family camp activities featuring a total of 6 children. The main results of this research include quantitatively through the program of the Directive Individual Sand Box Play in relation to the social self-esteem capability at z=-2,200 on the level of p<.05, the significant difference was shown. Qualitatively, positive expression increased as sessions proceeded and negative expression reduced regarding the linguistic expressions by session of children B. This means that the method of the Directive Individual Sand Box which presents the topic and in addition, the process of visiting the house of a child which is the most secure environment had shown the effectiveness that increases the improvement of the self-esteem of the children of the dissolved multi-cultural families. According to the diverse special characteristics of clients, a preliminary basic framework for the mobile individual sand box program through the directive approach method will be prepared.

  • We examine geoeffective directional parameters of coronal mass ejections (CMEs). We select 30 front-side halo CMEs from SOHO LASCO CMEs whose speed is larger than 1000km/s and longitude is less than ${\pm}30^{\circ}$. These are thought to be the most plausible candidate of geoeffective CMEs. We examine the relation between CMEs directional parameters (Earthward direction, eccentricity, ${\Delta}$ distance and central angle parameter) and the minimum value of the Dst index. We have found that the Earthward direction parameter has a good correlation with the Dst index, the eccentricity parameter has a much better correlation with the Dst index. The bo distance and central angle parameter has a poor correlation with the Dst index. It's, however, well correlated with the Dst index in very strong geomagnetic storms. Most of CMEs causing very strong storms (Dst ${\leq}$-200nT) are found to have large Earthward direction parameter $({\geq}0.6)$, small eccentricity, bo distance and central angle parameters $(E{\leq}0.4,\;{\Delta}X\;and\;sin\;{\theta}{\leq}0.2)$. These directional parameters are very important parameters that control the geoeffectiveness of very fast front-side halo CMEs.

  • In recent years, microtremor array observations have been used for estimation of shear-wave velocity structures. One of the methods is the conventional spatial autocorrelation (SPAC) method, which requires simultaneous recording at least with three or four sensors. Modified SPAC methods such as 2sSPAC, and linear array methods, allow estimating shear-wave structures by using only two sensors, but suffer from instability of the spatial autocorrelation coefficient for frequency ranges higher than 1.0 Hz. Based on microtremor measurements from four different size triangular arrays and four same-size triangular and linear arrays, we have demonstrated the stability of SPAC coefficient for the frequency range from 2 to 4 or 5 Hz. The phase velocities, obtained by fitting the SPAC coefficients to the Bessel function, are also consistent up to the frequency 5 Hz. All data were processed by the SPAC method, with the exception of the spatial averaging for the linear array cases. The arrays were deployed sequentially at different times, near a site having existing Parallel Seismic (PS) borehole logging data. We also used the imaginary part of the SPAC coefficients as a data-quality indicator. Based on perturbations of the autocorrelation spectrum (and in some cases on visual examination of the record waveforms) we divided data into so-called 'reliable' and 'unreliable' categories. We then calculated the imaginary part of the SPAC spectrum for 'reliable', 'unreliable', and complete (i.e. 'reliable' and 'unreliable' datasets combined) datasets for each array, and compared the results. In the case of insufficient azimuthal distribution of the stations (the linear array) the imaginary curve shows some instability and can therefore be regarded as an indicator of insufficient spatial averaging. However, in the case of low coherency of the wavefield the imaginary curve does not show any significant instability.
