  • 실제 옷처럼 입는 컴퓨터를 구현하거나 복잡하고 움직임이 많은 사람의 장기 등 생체에 이식 가능한 정보 전자 소자를 개발하려는 시도가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 현재는 기존의 반도체 공정과 실리콘 소재를 기반으로 연구 결과가 보고되고 있는데, 이는 소자 제작에 있어서 높은 공정 온도 등으로 인해 응용성이 제한되는 상황이다. 우리는 metal oxide 나노선과 단일벽 탄소나노튜브 (SWCNT)를 성장하여 각각 슬라이딩 전이법과 thermal tape 전이법을 이용하여 원하는 기판에 전이하고 소자를 제작하였다. metal oxide 나노선은 슬라이딩 전이를 통해 정렬된 상태로 패턴을 제작하였으며, SWCNT는 density 제어와 채널 크기 조정을 통해 반도체성 채널을 유도하여 소자 특성을 확보하였다. 또한 각 나노선의 전계효과소자와 SWCNT로 구성된 PMOS inverter를 유연한 고분자 필름기판위에 구현하고, 이를 스트레칭이 가능한 스테이지를 이용해 strain 대비 전기특성 변화를 분석하였다. 유연성이 좋은 나노선/나노튜브로 제작된 해당 소자는 전체 소자가 스트레칭이 가능할 수 있게 연결구조를 디자인하여 수십% 의 stain에도 각각의 전기특성이 유지되었다. 이처럼 스트레칭이 가능한 1차원 나노소재 소자는 그 유연성을 바탕으로 입는 옷처럼 구겨지거나 늘여지게 되는 다양한 스트레칭 상황에도 특성이 보장되어 미래 정보전자소자로 많은 응용이 가능할 것으로 예상된다.

A Biomechanical Study on the Hip Joint Flexibility Based on the Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (고관절 가동성 증진을 위한 고유수용성 신경근 촉진 스트레칭의 생체역학적 고찰)

  • Joint flexibility is an important factor which affect the process and duration of the therapeutic methods in the filed of occupational therapy. Hip joint flexibility and electromyography (EMG) of major flexor and extensor for the hip joint were examined to understand the biomechanical characteristics of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF). Hip joint flexibility increased $18.9^{\circ}$ on average after PNF was performed by a designated assistant on 10 college students. EMGs of quadriceps femoris muscle and hamstring muscles agreed with biomechanical characteristics of proprioceptive organs in muscles.

Effectiveness of Stretching Exercise in The Treatment of The Iliotibial Band Friction Syndrome (장경대 마찰 증후군의 치료에서 스트레칭 운동의 유용성)

  • Purpose: To analyze the effectiveness of the treatment with the stretching exercise in the patients with iliotibial band (ITB) friction syndrome. Materials and Methods: 22 patients with ITB friction syndrome were treated with the stretching exercise of the ITB. The criterion for determining the good result is more than 75% recovery according to the classification of success of treatment. We analyzed the differences of the duration of treatment at which the good result it achieved according to sincerity of the stretching exercise. The sincerity of the exercise is defined at performing more than 50% of the exercise that we prescribed. Results: Of 22 patients, there were good results in 19 cases (87%) within 8 weeks after the treatment. Except for 3 cases who did not achieved good results, the average duration of the treatment is 28.1 days. In patients with good results there was no statistical significance for the relationship between the duration of symptoms before diagnosis (average 25.6 days) and the duration of the treatment (average 28.1 days). In comparison with the group who performed the exercise sincerely and the group who did not, the average duration of the treatment if 23 days and 32.7 days respectively and there was significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion: The stretching exercise in ITB friction syndrome was helpful in reducing the duration of treatment.

  • 장시간 컴퓨터나 스마트폰을 사용하는 사람들에게서 손목터널증후군(Carpal Tunnel Syndrome)의 발생 가능성이 높아지며, 이를 방지하기 위해서는 꾸준한 손목 스트레칭과 위험성의 모니터링을 통한 사용자 피드백이 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 사용자 스스로가 손목 터널 증후군의 위험성을 인지하고, 손목 스트레칭 할 수 있도록 손목 터널 증후군 예방 시스템(Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Prevention System, CTSPS)을 구현하였다. 전체 시스템은 하드웨어와 소프트웨어로 구성되며, 소프트웨어는 사용자가 설정한 사용 시간과 잠금 시간을 바탕으로 알림 및 잠금을 수행한다. 이때 사용자는 아두이노와 가속도 센서를 이용하여 손목 스트레칭 할 수 있으며, 사용 패턴을 분석하여 사용자에게 맞는 생활 가이드를 제공할 수 있다. 구현된 시스템을 평가하기 위해 피실험자 5명을 대상으로 3일간 스마트폰 사용 시간 및 터치 횟수를 측정하였고, 설문조사를 수행한 결과 스마트폰의 사용 빈도가 줄었으며, 통증 완화 등 긍정적인 효과를 확인할 수 있었다.

The Effects of Self Stretching on Shoulder Pain and Shoulder Flexibility of Hospital Nurses (자가 스트레칭이 병원 간호사의 어깨 통증과 어깨 유연성에 미치는 효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of self stretching on shoulder pain and should flexibility of nurses. Methods: Forty two nurses who work in a university hospital participated in the study; an intervention (n=22) and a control group (n=20). The nurses of intervention group carried out a 4-week self stretching program. All participants completed 1 item NRS scale for pain intensity and 1 item 4-Likert scale for pain intensity. Both shoulder flexibilities of the nurses were measured by back and reach test. All measurements were done at baseline, 2 week, 4 week during the program and 2 week following the program. The data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, ${\chi}^2$-test, t test, Repeated measures ANOVA using SPSS 12.0. Results: There were significant differences in the pain intensity (p<.001) and frequencies(p<.001) between two groups. Also, Left and right shoulder flexibilities of the intervention group significantly increased than those of the control group (p<.001 and p=.002 respectively). Conclusion: The results showed that self stretching reduce the intensity and frequency of shoulder pain and increase both shoulder flexibilities. Thus, self stretching is recommended as an intervention to improve shoulder function of hospital nurses.

The Effects of Stretching Exercise to Musculoskeletal pain in the Community-Dwelling Farmers (일개 지역 농부에서 근골격계 통증에 대한 스트레칭 운동의 효과)

  • This study aimed to evaluate the effects of stretching management on musculoskeletal joint pain in community indwelling elderly farmers. The study included 28 residents who lived in a rural community. All participants were assigned randomly to either the stretching group (n=13, $59.67{\pm}4.77$ year-old) or the control group (n=15, $61.44{\pm}10.41$ year-old). Respondents were interviewed by means of a structured questionnaire. Pain severity of 6 body areas caused by symptoms of work-related musculoskeletal disorders and pain severity on day time variations were measured by the visual analogue scale on a self-assessed questionnaire. The stretching group was administered stretching therapy (45 min, 2 sets, warming up and cool down, main exercise; total 19 stretching kinds of subset 5 fields) for 12 times for 4 weeks. There were no significant difference between the two groups in general social and pain characteristics. After 4 weeks of stretching, the stretching group showed significant improvements at almost all joint pain scores except arm/elbow, and day time variation scores of pain compared to both baseline scores, and with control group scores. These results showed that stretching therapy is one of the most useful modalities to manage musculoskeletal pain in community-based elderly farmers.

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome, carpal tunnel becomes part of a narrower median nerve pain occurs pressed. How a stable wrist stretch for the prevention of carpal tunnel syndrome is required, it should life guides to fit the user is provided. In this research, users themselves recognize the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome, to be able to stretch, it implements the application. Application, based on the usage time set by the user, executes the alarm and lock. At this time, the user may utilize arduino and inertia sensor, it is possible to wrist stretch, to analyze usage patterns, it is possible to provide a medical information and life guides to suit the user. Data using Bluetooth 4.0 communication has been to meet the runaway. In order to evaluate the mounted system, targeting four subjects, the time and the touch frequency of usage of the 3-day smartphone measured, as a result of the questionnaire, it reduces the frequency of use of smartphones, a positive it was possible to prove the effect.

Comparison of the Effects of an App-based and Poster-based Self-managed Workplace Stretching Program on Musculoskeletal Symptoms of Workers in Small Manufacturing Businesses (소규모 제조업 사업장 노동자의 근골격계질환 증상관리를 위한 앱 기반과 포스터 기반 자가관리 작업장 스트레칭 프로그램의 효과 비교)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to compare the effects of an 8 week, self-managed, app-based and poster-based stretching program on musculoskeletal symptoms, flexibility, stretching frequency, self-efficacy, social support, and musculoskeletal disorder knowledge in small manufacturing business workers. Methods: This was a cluster randomized, two-group pretest-posttest design. Workers were assigned to either an app-based (n=20) or a poster-based (n=25) stretching intervention. Both groups received an educational class. The app group also received mobile phone text messages and an app with stretching videos, stretching alarms, stretching records, and information on musculoskeletal disorders. The poster group received workplace stretching posters. Data were collected from April to September 2018 and analyzed with the 𝑥2 test, paired t-test, and independent t-test. Results: There was only a significant difference in social support. Significant increase in flexibility and musculoskeletal symptoms were noted for both groups, but social support and musculoskeletal disorder knowledge were significantly changed only in the poster group. More than half of the workers practiced stretching at least 3 times a week. Conclusion: The 8 week, self-managed, workplace stretching program was effective to increase flexibility and stretching frequency to at least 3 times a week. However, effective interventions for musculoskeletal symptoms could not be identified.

The effects of the correction exercise program combined with stretching and elastic band exercise on femoral intercondylar distance, Q-angle, plantar pressure in undergraduate with genu varum (탄성밴드운동과 스트레칭을 이용한 교정운동프로그램이 내반슬 대학생들의 무릎간 간격, Q-각 및 족압의 변화에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this study is to identify the effects of the correction exercise program on femoral intercondylar distance, Q-angle and plantar pressure in undergraduate with genu varum. A experimental study with a randomized controlled trial design was used. Thirty subjects with genu varum were allocated in two groups: the experimental group (n=15) or the control group (n=15). The experimental group conducted correction exercise program for 30 minutes a day, 5 times a week, for 6 weeks, while the control group did not perform any exercise. The correction exercise program group showed a significant decreased femoral intercondylar distance, plantar pressure of M 4, M 5 (Metatarsal 4, 5). Also the correction exercise program group significantly increased Q-angle, plantar pressure of Toe 2-5 and M 1, M 2, M 3 (Metatarsal 1, 2, 3) (Rt, Lt) (p<.05). Thus, we suggested that the correction exercise program may be suitable intervention to improve normal alignment in undergraduate with genu varum.
