The aims of this study are to identify levels of diabetes self-care activities and find associated factors of the elderly with Type 2 diabetes. The participants for this study were 264 elderly Koreans over 65 years old who visited one general hospital in S city in South Korea for their medical treatment. In the results, there are few statistically significant differences in general characteristics and disease related variables according with diabetes self-care activities (DSCA). DSCA showed negative correlation with depression (r=-.278, p=.033) and positive correlation with ADLs(r=.310, p=.013)and IADLs(r=.415, p=.001). Therefore, the findings of this study suggest implementing self-care activities to the elderly with diabetes based on their psychological factors (depression) and functional capacities (ADL and IADL). In addition, the advanced research will be needed for developing tailored nursing educations and interventions to improve diabetes self-care activities of elderly patients.

대학에서 실행되고 있는 정보활용능력 교육에 따른 학습자의 정보활용능력에 대한 자가인식의 변화는 학습자의 특성에 따라 차이가 나타날 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 정보활용능력 교육의 효과에 영향에 미치는 학습자의 영향 요인을 조사 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 위해, D 대학의 한 학기 교양과목으로 개설되고 있는 정보활용능력 교육 프로그램을 대상으로 해당과목 수강생 47명의 정보활용능력에 대한 자가 인식을 교육전과 교육후의 질문지법을 통해 그 변화를 조사 분석하고 이들 학습자의 개인적인 특성을 파악하였다. 학습자의 특성에는 인구통계학적인 특성 이외에 유사 교육 프로그램 경험 유무, 도서관에 대한 인식 등이 조사되었다. 정보활용능력에 대한 자가 인식을 측정하기 위한 문항들은 ACRL의 고등 교육자를 위한 정보활용능력 평가기준을 참조하였고 사용된 분석도구는 Excel과 SPSS 17.0이다.

The purpose of the this study was to provide objective evidence through a systematic review and meta-analysis regarding the effects of self-management in knee osteoarthritis. Articles published between 1999 and 2013 from periodicals indexed Ovid Medline, CINAHL, PubMed, RISS, KISS and other databases were selected, using the following key words: Osteoarthriti* OR OA, self-(management OR care OR help). A selection of 11 studies(7 randomized controlled trials and 4 quasi-experimental interventions that were used were exercise, education, massage and self-help group. As a result of mera-analysis, self-management significantly effected pain, physical function, activities of daily living, and self-efficacy. In particular, self-management showed great effect on ADL, and moderate effect on pain and physical function. Based upon these result, it is necessary to develop a standardized self-management program for knee osteoarthritis patients.

지난해 건설기술관리법 시행령 이 개정됨에 따라 지난 3월 1일부터 특급건설기술자는 기술사만 가능하고 학· 경력기술자는 초급까지만 인정되는 등 건설기술자 경력제도가 대폭 개선되었다. 이에 따라 건설교통부는 개정된 경력신고 제도를 건설기술자가 제대로 이해하지 못해 불이익을 받는 일이 없도록 하기 위하여“건설기술자 경력관리 이렇게 하시면 됩니다”홍보책자를 발간했다. 이 홍보 책자는 이제 막 입문하는 초급기술자부터 특급기술자에 이르기까지 전체 57만여명의 건설기술자 누구 나 쉽게 경력관리가 가능하도록 건설기술자의 경력신고 절차, 교육훈련, 각종 통계자료 및 주요 유권해석 등을 알기 쉽게 매뉴얼 형식으로 정리하였다. 이 책자에 따르면 건설기술자가 개정 전의 규정에 의한 기술등급을 받기 위하여 반드시 숙지해야 할 사항으로 는 오는 8월 31일까지 자신의 학력·자격·경력 등을 한국건설기술인협회 등 경력관리수탁기관에 신고하여야 하고 내년 2월 29일까지 1주의 전문교육을 이수하여야 한다. 또한 건설기술자가 근무처 경력신고시 종전의 국민연금 등 4대 보험 자료 원본을 제출하던 것을 해당 공단 홈 페이지 출력물로 대체가 가능, 경력신고가 훨씬 간편해졌다. 참고로 건설기술자의 경력관리 자료는 설계 등 용역업자의 사업수행능력(PQ) 평가시 수행경력 확인, 건설관련 업체 등록시 기술능력 확인, 건설기술자 현장배치시 적정여부 확인 등에 활용되고 있다. 본지는 건교부가 발간한“건설기술자 경력관리 이렇게 하시면 됩니다”홍보책자를 3회에 걸쳐 게재한다.

We aimed to analyze the effects of Kinesio-Taping on pain, satisfaction, and gait, and to provide basic data on the self-application of this method. The participants were 30 adult women with chronic low back pain. Kinesio-Taping was applied for 2 weeks, followed by 4 weeks of self-application education and self-application. The participants' pain levels were analyzed using the visual analog scale, satisfaction was analyzed using the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure, and gait was analyzed in terms of stride length, step length, step width, and gait time using the Walkway MG-1000 gait analyzer. The results of the pain showed the statistically significant decrease steadily (p<0.001) and the results of the satisfaction showed the statistically significant increase steadily (p<0.001) from the application of the Kinesio-Taping. Also, according to the In-Object verification between pre-test, taping application (after 2 weeks) and Self-application (after 4 weeks), the results of the satisfaction showed statistically significant difference (p<0.001). According to the gait analysis, the results of the stride length and step length showed the statistically significant increase steadily (p<0.001) and the results of the step width and gait time showed the statistically significant decrease steadily (p<0.001) from the application of the Kinesio-Taping. Also, according to the In-Object verification between pre-test, taping application (after 2 weeks) and Self-application (after 4 weeks), the results of the step width showed statistically significant difference (p<0.001). Thus, the self-application education about the Kinesio-Taping should be considered to reduce the pain and improve the performance level of the activities of daily life through the improvement of the self-management ability and to induce the active participation in the self-management activities and increase the satisfaction.

This study analyzed medical aid case management effects based on the number of access by visits, phone calls, letters, internal investigation, resource links, and requests, in medical aid case management business that is carried out to improve the quality of life of medical care beneficiaries and reduce financial cost. Secondary analysis study using data of 564 high-risk group in the medical aid case management and their healthcare utilization data. Letters had positive correlations with the scores of all case management domains. The higher visits was, the lower the score of self-health care ability was, and the higher the number of phone calls was, the higher the score for reasonable medical use was. While there was no significant difference in medical cost according to aid management by interventions, the higher visits and resource links were, the lower the subjects' total number of payment days was. There is a difference in the various areas of the quality of health -related life and medical use depending on case management by intervention method and its number. It is necessary to carry out the efficient number of access to case management by intervention method.

홈 서비스 네트워크 시스템의 복잡도가 증가하면서 고가용도 요구사항을 만족하기 위한 관리 메커니즘 개발이 더욱 어려워졌다. 더욱이, 사용자는 시스템 결함 관리와 같은 복잡한 시스템 관리를 직접 하는걸 원하지 않는다. 그러므로 홈 네트워크로 연결된 장치 또는 가전제품으로 구성된 통합 시스템의 고가용성 요구사항을 만족하면서 사람의 개입을 최소화할 수 있는 자가 관리 기능 및 원격 결함 관리 능력을 홈 서비스 시스템은 갖춰야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 홈 서비스 네트워크 시스템의 가용도를 향상시키면서 관리 비용을 최소화할 수 있는 오토노믹 자가관리 유틸리티를 설계 및 개발한다.
