  • 1982년 동력자원부의 "소수력개발방안"에 의해 민간인이 소수력발전사업에 참여할수 있는 제도가 만들어진 이후 초기단계에는(1985년 $\sim$ 1995년) 많은 사업자가 소수력발전사업에 참여하여 성공도 하고 실패도 하였지만 1995년 이후에는 수자원공사, 농촌공사, 그리고 지방자치단체 만이 소수력발전소 건설에 참여하였다 소수력발전소 건설을 위한 입지선정은 가장 중요하지만 입지선정에 대한 아무런 안내서와 발표자료도 없다.이에 소수력 사업을 하면서 경험과 자료를 바탕으로 작성하였다.

  • 풍수는 그동안 한국의 전통적인 지리학, 지리사상 또는 환경관 등으로 이해되어 왔다. 특히 그것은 거시적, 미시적 차원의 제 입지요소를 고려하는 전통적 입지론 또는 공간배치의 원리로서 제 학문분과에서의 그 현대적 수용가능성과 관련하여 주목받고 있는 것도 사실이다. 그런데, 지표상의 제 지리적 현상 중 특히 역사적 경관이나 장소 등에 관심 갖는 현대지리학의 입장에서 그것의 풍수와의 관련성을 배제할 수 없다고 할 때, 자칫 신비의 범주로 분류되곤 하는 풍수를 어떻게 관련지을 수 있는가의 문제는 그렇게 간단한 것이 아니다.   • 최근 홍수에 의한 피해가 늘어나면서 재해관리에 대한 문제점이 제기되고 있다. 따라서 홍수위험도를 바탕으로 한 과학적이고 체계적인 방재대책의 수립이 요구되어 진다. 본 연구에서는 대상자의 과거 홍수피해를 데이터베이스로 구축하고, 이를 활용한 홍수위해성과 홍수위험성을 분석하여 홍수위해도(Flood Hazard Map)와 홍수위험도(Flood Risk Map)로 도출하였다. 분석결과를 이용하여 현 방재계획에서 설정되어 있는 구호시설물의 서비스 지역을 분석하고, 구호시설물의 최적의 입지를 제시하였다.

  • 이 연구는 2차자료가 부족한 우리나라 슈퍼마켓 업체의 여건을 감안하여 간편하게 활용할 수 있는 입지분석 모델의 가능성을 탐구하였다. 연구모델은 두 가지 기준을 근거로 모두 네가지 모델을 설정하고 비교검토했다. 먼저 표본추출방법에 의해 내점객표본과 지역할당표본으로 분류하고, 이것을 다시 포함하는 변수의 범위에 따라 축소모델과 확장모델로 구분하였다. 공간상호작용모델의 추정에는 MNL(Multinomial Logit)방식을 이용했다. 분석결과 내점객표본으로 조사해서 얻은 응답자의 주거지와 주로 찾는 점포, 그리고 사전적으로 입수한 경쟁점포의 매장면적, 인접점포까지의 거리에 대한 자료만을 이용해서 추정한 가장 간단한 모델이 비교적 만족스러운 결과를 나타냈다.

Optimal Location Allocation of CCTV Using 3D Simulation (3차원 시뮬레이션을 활용한 CCTV 최적입지선정)

  • This study aims to establish a simulation method for CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) sight area. The simulation incorporates variables for computing CCTV sight area including CCTV specifications and installation. Currently CCTV is used for traffic, crime prevention and fire prevention by local governments. However, new locations are selected by administrator decision rather than analysis of the optimal location. In order to determine optimum location, a method to CCTV compute range is needed, which incorporates specifications according to CCTV purpose. For this purpose, limitations of previous research methods must be recognized and the simulation method must supplement these limitations. Here in this study, we derived CCTV sight area variables for realistic analysis to complement the limitations of previous studies. A total of eight elements were derived from image device sensors and installation: wide angle, height, angle, setting height, setting angle, and others. This research implemented a 3D simulation technique that can be applied to the derived factors and automate them using ArcObject and Visual C#. This simulation method can calculate sight range in accordance with CCTV specifications. Furthermore, when installing additional CCTVs, it can derive optimal allocation position. The results of this study will provide rational choices for specification selection and CCTV location by interagency collaborative projects.

Korean University Students' Preferences for the Rental Apartments and Housing Location Factors - Comparative Analysis between Korean and US University Students - (국내 대학생들의 임대 아파트에 대한 인식과 주거입지 선호 특성에 관한 연구 - 미국 University of Washington 사례와의 비교분석 -)

  • This paper aims at, firstly, analyzing the preference of rental apartment owned by real estate companies, and the characteristics of housing location factors which Korean university students prefer, secondly, examining the effect of location factors to housing preferences. Especially, comparative analysis between this study and US students' precedent case study are used, in order to derive the implications about the housing policy. The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, according to the questionnaire survey results, a great part of Korea and US university students prefer rental apartments owned by real estate companies as next housing after graduation. And a meaningful part of them prefer rental apartments owned by real estate companies as permanent housings. Secondly, according to factor analysis, five new factors such as (1) housing condition, (2) facilities and management, (3) neighborhood, (4) reputation and policy, (5) accessibility are extracted. Finally, according to logistic regression analysis, "facilities and management" and "reputation and policy" factors influence the preference of rental apartment. Therefore, provisions of "facilities and management" and "reputation and policy" factor are important to activate rental apartments owned by real estate companies for young generation.

Characteristics of Immigration Path and Residential Location of Korean Immigrants in Los Angeles (미국 LA지역 한인 이주민의 정착경로 및 주거입지 특성)

  • This paper aims at elucidating the characteristics of immigration path and residential location, and analyzing the factors influencing housing ownership structure and preference of residential location factors of Korean immigrants in Los Angeles. The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, immigration paths of Korean Immigrants are divided by spatial assimilation type and network of mainstream society oriented type. Secondly, according to the results of binomial logistic regression analysis, Korean town as a current residential location is selected by low-income class, aged migrants group, housing non-owner group and longer migration period group. Thirdly, migrants tend to retain detached housings in residential area of mainstream society while migration period go beyond 10 years and incomes exceed $60,000. Finally, according to ANOVA tests on the preferences of residential location factors. high-income and home owers groups more prefer location factors such as economics, natural environment, housing interior facilities, network of mainstream society.

  • Joining the WTO in 2001, China became a number of the global economic system. China succeeded in vying to host Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and World Expo 2010 Shanghai. It is China's honor and opportunity to have high economic growth in the coming future. In 2007, the total cost of public logistics decreased by 18.2% than 2006 to 4540.6 billion RMB, accounting for 18.4% of the GDP. So, China logistics is a huge industry and a growing market full of charm. The statistic ratios of China's logistics and growth trends show us it is an important issue to build and run an effective logistics system. However, research on China's logistics systems and supply chain is lacked. This study is focus on the logistic location strategy in China including the study of factories and warehouses geographic strategy concerned with SCM. The core of this study is to propose a New Multi-Facilities Location Decision Model. This study banded the revised gravity center, the standard single facility location decision model(Gravity Center Model) and the transportation model into a new Multi-Facilities Location Decision Model. In addition, this study suggested the gravity center of population, the gravity center of each industry, the location decision graded-list of each industry of china using the gravity center model and the revised gravity center model. The new Multi-Facilities Location Decision Model proposed in this study can be used to solve the location decision problem of more than two facilities. And it can be used in the fields such as the location decision of production facility and service facility, the location of distribution and logistics, the location of broadcast and satellite communications, the location of wireless communication tower and so on.

  • This study aims to investigate the influence of the components of the startup ecosystem on the business performance of startups, focusing on the mediating effect of the location environment. By presenting the insight that the popularization of start-ups can be an alternative for job creation thanks to the government's start-up support policy considering the location environment, it is possible to construct an optimal configuration scenario between the components of the start-up ecosystem and the location environment. Furthermore, it is expected to contribute to the improvement of corporate management performance. To achieve this goal, we performed a survey and the subjects were domestic start-up company employees with less than 7 years of experience. The results show that the components of the start-up ecosystem had a significant effect on the business performance of start-up companies and the location environment and on the management performance of start-up companies according to the mediation of the location environment.
