대한인쇄연구소는 지난 11월 8일 하반기 이사회를 갖고 서병기 대한인쇄연구소 이사장 권한대행을 신임 이사장으로 선임했다. 이사장 임기는 등기가 이뤄진 날로부터 3년이다. 이외에도 이날 이사회에서는 2012년 3월 임기가 만료된 조재환 감사를 연임하고, 최기환 감사를 새롭게 선임하는 등 안건으로 상정된 임원개선 사항을 결의했다. 또한 2012년 11월에 임기가 만료된 21명의 이사는 전형위원회를 구성해 추후 선임키로 했다 이외에도 연구소 활성화 및 개선방안에 대한 다양한 의견이 개진됐다.

What are the characteristics of firm executives who have led the fast-growing Korean entertainment industry since the Korean Wave in the early 2000s, and what management implications can be inferred from them? To search for the answer to these questions, we conducted a complete survey of 293 executives from 27 listed Korean entertainment companies. Research has shown that career path diversity has increased in order of general enterprise managers, IT experts, accountants, lawyers and artists, away from the limited human resources level around artists. Thirty three percent of the firms gave stock options to their CEO. This is a positive aspect as data implying that these companies have been striving to do specialization, transparent management, digital and network management, creativity management, and motivational management in the context of sustainablity. However, it was pointed out as an improvement task that the percentage of young(20s and 30s) and female executives is low, even though such people's creativity, sensitivity, initiative and dynamic quality are apt to bring out their advantages especially in the entertainment company, a typical knowledge-creative firms and that the period of the CEO's average tenure was relatively short to 4.02 years.

This paper is designed to search the new alternatives to supplement the inconvenience of the traditional written ballot method which is executed every early semester to select the class board at the school. It is prepared on the based the results of the design and implement of the wired/wireless inter-working mobile electronic voting system where the students can participate in the real-time class board selection and the decision-making utilizing the mobile phones, PDA and PC they commonly have. It is time when we should consider introducing the electronic voting system, to minimize the students' inconvenience and the subsequent missing class, having to wait in the long line in the designated place to select the class board at every election season. This system enables the students to participate wherever they are other than the common place as well. Further, this research will provide the opportunity to think over the new school election culture in line with the age of Ubiquitous, as well as the useful means in the field to promote the active participation of the parents and students in the students' self-administration, decision-making necessary at the schools.

Due to the influences of global financial crisis, countries are putting their efforts on the enhancement of appropriateness and transparency of director compensation. In several countries including Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Italy, listed companies and financial institutions in certain levels make public announcement for compensations of individual directors, not the averages. Recently, even Asian countries including China, Hong Kong, and Singapore are introducing individual director compensation public announcement policies. On the other hand, in cases of companies, which must submit annual reports, under current Korean capital market laws and enforcement ordinances, they are obligated to mention 'total wage paid to all executives in that business year' on the annual report, but does not have to mention individual wages of each executive. About this, at the 17th national assembly, revised bill for the Securities and Exchange Act for companies to mention wages of each executive. The financial world is opposing to open individual director compensation to the public as they concern about the shrinking of outstanding human resources recruitment, breach of corporate confidence, privacy invasion, deterioration of labor-management relations, and downfall of the executive's management will as director compensation will be standardized downward; however, if public opening of individual director compensation is forced, domestic companies will prepare more objective and rational standards when they calculate director compensations, and moreover, it will prevent arbitrary intervention of dominant shareholders. Therefore, to clearly and efficiently control director compensation, we need regulations for obligating public opening of individual director compensation.

Qualitiy characteristics such as moisture content, pH, acidity, sugar content, salinity, appearance, flavor, taste, color and overall acceptance of apple Jangachi cured with different traditional Korean sauces (Kochujang, Doenjang, Kanjang) were investigated during storage time. The initial moisture content of the apple Jangachi was an average of 14.97%. But after curing with the three sauces (Kochujang, Doenjang, and Kanjaing) moisture content increased to 27~28%, 41~4% and 56~58%, respectively. The pH was 4.84-5.42 regardless of sauce. Total acidity increased from 0.4%, 0.34%, 0.34% to 1.14%, 0.60%, 0.67%. respectively. But acidity decreased after 10 days. Sugar content of apple jangachi decreased throughout the aging time regardless of sauce type. Salinity of apple Jangachi increased to a certain level during storage time regardless of sauce type. Apple Jangachi softened during storage as they increased in moisture content. All sensory characteristics of Kocuhjang apples showed a higher score than Doenjang and Kanjang. Overall, Kocuhjang seems most appropriate for curing apple Jangachi.

This study has been focus to certify the run-up heights, losses of human lives and property damages due to the 1983 Central East Sea tsunami. We have conducted the interview with indigenous inhabitant and field surveying at the Imwon port, East sea in Korea in order to inquire into the state of things occurred during that period. It is also investigated how much well they are aware of the emergency action plan including the evacuation system. Base on the reliable interviews, we selected and surveyed 10 places at the Imwon port, where the historical maximum overflowing occurred due to the 1983 Central East Sea tsunami. The measured run-up heights are approximately $3.3m{\sim}4.0m$ at the selected 10 places and it is found that the sea water ran over the banks in Imwon stream about 700m upstream from the Imwon port. From this study we can suggest supplementing the present emergency action plan and supply the state-of-the-art inundation map.
