Convergence Factors Influencing Clinical Reasoning Competency of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 임상적 추론 역량에 미치는 융합적 영향요인)

  • In this study, an attempt was made to investigate the clinical reasoning of nursing students and to identify the factors that influence it. This study was held to grasp the learning ability related to core nursing competency for 297 3rd and 4rd grade nursing students. Results indicated that there was a significant difference when comparing clinical competence by grade(p=0.001). Also variables effecting clinical reasoning competence were Problem solving ability, Clinical Decision making ability, Clinical practice performance, and grade of nursing students were found to be significant (p,.001). Outcome of this study can be used as the basis for the development of various curriculums to enhance the clinical reasoning competence, in the future, research for this education development is expected to be needed.

A Study on the Satisfaction with Clinical Practice of Occupational Therapy Students (작업치료(학)과 학생들의 임상실습 만족도)

  • It is reported that the higher the satisfaction of students' clinical practice, the more the ability to perform their work. It is important to assess student satisfaction with clinical practice. This study is to investigate the satisfaction of occupational therapy students' clinical practice. The research data will be used as basic data for effective clinical practice. The subjects of this study were 319 occupational therapy students who completed clinical training. The data collection period was from August 1, 2017 to August 13, 2017. The questionnaire used in the previous literature was used to measure the satisfaction of clinical practice. The collected data were statistically processed using the SPSS 12.0 statistical program. The general characteristics of the study subjects were more female, university more. Satisfaction with major was the most satisfied and the training period was the most 24 weeks. Rehabilitation hospitals were the highest in the training institutions. The results showed that the satisfaction of clinical practice was higher in the order of clinical practice, satisfaction after clinical practice, clinical practice environment, teaching method of clinical practice, clinical practice time, evaluation of clinical practice, and internal conflicts in clinical practice. Clinical practice satisfaction according to general characteristics was significantly different according to the major satisfaction and the training period.

Development and Application of Development Principles for Clinical Information Model (임상정보모델 개발원칙의 개발과 적용)

  • To be applicable under electronic health record system in order to ensure semantic interoperability of clinical information, the development principle for clinical information model to reflect objective and function is required. The aim of this study is to develop the development principles for clinical information model and evaluate the Clinical Contents Model. In order to develop the principle, from November 2008 to March 2009, the surveys about 1) definition, 2) function and 3) quality criteria were done, and 4) the components of advanced model were analyzed. The study was processed in 3 levels. Firstly in the development level, key words and key words-paragraph were driven from the references, and the principles were drawn based on the clinical or functional importance and frequency. In the application level, the 3 experts of clinical information model assessed 30 Clinical Contents Models by applying it. In the feedback level, the Clinical Contents Model in which errors were found was modified. As the results, 18 development principles were derived with 3 categories which were structure, process and contents. The Clinical Contents Models were assessed with the principles, and the 17 models were found that they did not follow it. During the feedback process, the necessity of the advanced education of the principle and the establishment of the regular quality improvement strategy to use it is raised. The proposed development principle supports the consistent model-development between clinical information model developers, and could be used as evaluation criteria.

The Efficiency of Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) as a Method of Clinical Clerkship in the Korean Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology Department (한방안이비인후과에서 임상실습 한 방법으로서 Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)의 효용성)

  • Objectives : 본 연구를 통하여 한방안이비인후과 임상실습에서 Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) 수업의 효용성을 알아보고자 한다. Methods : 2014학년도 한의과대학 본과 4학년 학생을 대상으로 안이비인후과 임상실습의 한 방법으로 OSCE를 시행한 후, 학생들은 OSCE 수업 만족도에 관한 설문지를 작성하고 레지던트는 학생들을 평가하였다. OSCE 평가 성적과 기타 임상실습 및 필기시험 성적과의 연관성을 분석하여 OSCE 성적의 학점 부여 타당도를 살펴보았다. Results : 만족도 관련 설문 결과 총 평균점수가 4.34점이 나왔다. OSCE성적과 기타 임상실습 및 필기시험 성적과의 상관성을 pearson correlation을 통하여 살펴본 결과, OSCE성적은 임상실습 성적 및 (r=0.210, p=0.056), 필기시험 성적과 통계적으로 유의한 상관성이 없었다 (r=0.064, p=0.567). Conclusions : 위의 결과로부터 임상실습에서 OSCE 시행은 학생들의 학습 만족도를 높인다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 임상실습에서 효율적으로 OSCE를 활용하는 방안을 모색하기 위해 더 많은 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

Development of Clinical Trial Guidelines for Using Korean Herbal Medicine in Treatment of Common Cold (감기 치료를 위한 한약제제 임상시험 가이드라인 개발)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 감기에 대한 한약제제 임상시험을 수행하고 평가하는 데 보편적인 원칙을 제공하는 가이드라인 개발과정 및 내용을 소개하여 가이드라인 활용성 및 접근성을 높이고자 한다. 방법 : 임상시험 가이드라인 개발을 위해 총 9인으로 이루어진 위원회를 구성하고, 전반적인 절차를 수립하였다. 먼저, 가이드라인 집필위원회에서 관련된 국내외 가이드라인을 고찰하고, 감기에 대한 최신 임상시험 논문을 분석하여 초안을 완성하였다. 이후 대한한방내과학회 소속 전문가 자문위원회 검토 및 8인의 전문가로 구성된 협의회 자문을 통해 최종 가이드라인을 도출하였다. 결과 : 본 가이드라인은 (1) 일반적 사항 (2) 유효성 평가 기준 (3) 유효성 평가 방법 (4) 시험 대상자 선정 (5) 임상시험 설계 (6) 안전성 평가 (7) 감기 치료에서의 병용요법 (8) 한의학적 고려 사항의 8가지 범주로 나뉘어진다. 최종 개발된 가이드라인은 한의약임상시험센터 협의회와 대한한방내과학회의 인증을 득하였다. 결론 : 본 가이드라인은 감기 치료를 위한 임상시험을 수행하고 평가하는 데 유용하게 사용될 것이며, 이를 통해 신뢰할 수 있는 결과를 이끌어내고 정확한 해석을 용이하게 할 수 있을 것이라 기대된다. 또한 추후 해당 가이드라인 개정 및 관련된 호흡기질환 가이드라인 개발 과정에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • CT는 종래의 엑스선 촬영 기법으로 얻은 인체 내부의 투영 데이터를 컴퓨터로 재구성하여 단층영상을 만들어 내는 기술이다. 1972년 최초의 상용화 CT가 개발된 이후로 촬영 속도 개선의 측면에서 비약적인 발전을 이루었다. 겐트리 구동 방식의 발전과 Spiral CT, MDCT 기술의 도입이 스캔 시간 단축에 큰 역할을 하였다. 특히 MDCT의 개발로 다양한 임상적 활용이 가능해졌다. 한편 O-arm CT 기술은 CT를 공간적 제약에서 벗어나게 하였다. 이는 CT가 수술실 현장에서 활용될 수 있다는 임상적 의미를 가진다. O-arm CT는 즉석에서 활용되어야 하므로 촬영과 동시에 영상이 실시간으로 재구성되는 것도 중요하다. 최근에 도입되기 시작한 GPU 프로그래밍 기술은 고성능 GPU 하드웨어의 발전을 등에 업고 실시간 CT 재구성을 가능하게 할 것으로 보인다.

  • Bond-Fill SB is made of powder/liquid, and the flowability can be controlled by adjusting the amount of liquid in the brush. Thanks to the strong catalyst called TBB, it has the advantage of being able to polymerize even in the presence of water and oxygen. Also, since it contains 4-META, it has the advantage of being able to adhere to metals and ceramics with appropriate surface treatment. If you fully understand these advantages, you can actively utilize them in cases where it is difficult to treat with conventional composite resin.

Effect of Structured Debriefing on the Learning Outcomes of Nursing Students in Simulation-based Education (간호대학생의 시뮬레이션기반 교육 시 구조화된 디브리핑 유형이 학습성과에 미치는 효과)

  • The study investigates how the structured debriefing method affects the learning flow, critical thinking disposition, and clinical performance of nursing students, using the Lasater Clinical Judgment Rubric (LCJR). Nursing students in the 4th grade of P University were divided into three groups, each trying out a different structured debriefing method: the experimental group - structured video debriefing using the LCJR question, the comparative group - structured oral debriefing, and the control group - structured group discussion debriefing. There was no significant difference between the three groups in learning flow (p=.640), critical thinking disposition (p=.420) and clinical performance ability (p=.360). Planning and intervention among the areas of clinical performance were significantly improved in the experimental group compared to the other two groups (p=.005). Structured debriefing when used with LCJR improves the learning flow and critical thinking disposition of students, while structured video debriefing improves clinical performance.

Development and Application of Integrated Nursing Practice Program preceded Role-play related to Clinical Communication Situation (임상적 의사소통상황 관련 역할극을 선행한 통합실습프로그램의 개발 및 적용)

  • For this study, we developed and applied the integrated nursing practice program preceded role-play related to clinical communication situation to 115 nursing students and compared their communication ability, clinical competence and problem solving process scores between before and after the program. Integrated nursing practice program is composed of 6 role-play scenarios related to clinical communication situation, 3 role-play scenarios related to clinical situation and 3 core nursing skill practices. This program was conducted 4 hours a week for 8 weeks. Data were collected using self-report questionnaire before and after the program from March to June, 2013 and analyzed using descriptive analysis and t-test with SPSS/WIN 19.0. There were significant increase in communication ability, clinical competence and problem solving process scores after the program. These results indicate that this program is effective nursing practice education method. Therefore, this program would be used for other students.

Big Data-based Medical Clinical Results Analysis (빅데이터 기반 의료 임상 결과 분석)

  • Recently, it has become possible to collect, store, process, and analyze data generated in various fields by the development of the technology related to the big data. These big data technologies are used for clinical results analysis and the optimization of clinical trial design will reduce the costs associated with health care. Therefore, in this paper, we are going to analyze clinical results and present guidelines that can reduce the period and cost of clinical trials. First, we use Sqoop to collect clinical results data from relational databases and store in HDFS, and use Hive, a processing tool based on Hadoop, to process data. Finally we use R, a big data analysis tool that is widely used in various fields such as public sector or business, to analyze associations.
