광복절이 있는 8월은 우리 역사에 대해 많은 생각을 하게 한다. 일제강점기 동안 강탈당한 나라를 되찾기 위해 목숨을 걸었던 독립운동가의 숭고한 기개가 오늘을 사는 우리를 다시 한 번 숙연하게 하기 때문이다. 몽양 여운형은 일제강점기와 해방전후기 가장 합리적인 민족지도자로서 조선 광복과 대한민국 건설에 기여한 지대한 공로를 인정받아 지난 2008년 2월 최고 훈장인 건국훈장 대한민국장에 추서됐다. 여인성 대중기계(주) 대표이사가 몽양의 종손자인 것은 익히 알려진 사실이다. 프린팅코리아가 여 대표를 만나 친족만이 전할 수 있는 몽양의 위대한 발자취를 밝히고, 8월의 의미를 다시 한 번 되새겨본다.

본 연구는 일제강점기말 경성부의 초등교육시설 계획규준의 특성과 그 의미를 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 1939년과 1942년 "조선과건축(朝鮮と建築)"에 소개된 자료를 중심으로 경성부의 계획규준을 운영양상, 학교규모 및 구조, 단위공간 규격 및 소요제실, 교사동 배치 및 블록플랜으로 나누어 고찰하였다.

In the era of the Korean Empire, the identity of nation is not secured, therefore police system are also changed many times which has not an consistent directions. There are efforts of the ruler to reinforce or protect the nation against the invasion of outside power in the process, of course. But these efforts which reinforce the power of despotic emperor and modernize the nation are disappointed by the exclusive control of japan after the Russo-Japanese War in 1904. Therefore, japan disseized the police power of the Korean Empire in various forms(general police and military police). And these general police and military police are faced role conflict often, finally integrate to the military police, which take root the basic model of colonial police in 1910.

This research purports to reconstruct how the respective historical experiences on the Japanese colonial rule and Korean War have influenced the lifes of the Korean elderly in later years from the biographical context. Nine interviews were conducted using Sch$\ddot{u}$tze's 'autobiographical-narrative interview.' Interview data collected were analyzed following Rosenthal's 'analysis of narrative-biographical interview.' How individual historical experiences have impacted the elderly's lifes mostly indicated a difference in the way they experienced such historical events. While their pro-Japanese activities and direct, historical experiences during the Japanese colonial rule and their direct, historical experiences as veterans of the Korean War have influenced their life as individualized, their indirect, historical experiences on the Japanese colonial rule and Korean War have manifested themselves as a potential life severed from the historical past at the same time. Based on the understanding of how the elderly's individual, historical experiences have exerted an influence on their life, finally, some suggestions were addressed as regards welfare practices for the elderly.

우리의 인쇄현장에서는 수년 전부터 '외래어 우리말 사용운동'이 전개되고 있음에도 가시적인 성과가 나타나지 않고 있다. 쉽고 친근한 우리말이 얼마든지 있는데도 습관적으로 외래어를 쓰고 있는 실정이다. 특히 일제의 강점기간을 거치면서 일본용어가 침투하였는데 그 잔재가 해방 반세기가 훨씬 넘었음에도 아직 우리의 인쇄현장에 많이 남아 있다. 이는 인쇄종주국의 위상에 걸맞지 않을 뿐만 아니라 선조들에게는 부끄러운 일이 아닐 수 없다.

디자이 오사무가 일제강점기와 한국문학과의 연관성을, 무라카미 하루키가 90년대 한국과 일본문학의 한 특성을 설명해 줄 것이다. 두 일본작가 사이에 존재하는 시기에 대한 문학사적인 반성도 가능하다. 두 작가 사이 공백기의 책임은 일본문학계와 출판계가 져야 할 것이다.

역사는 시대를 배경으로 사람이 엮어 간다. 우리 나라 결핵의 역사를 말할 때 결핵 퇴치를 위하여 헌신하고 큰 업적을 남긴 인물들을 빼놓을 수 없다. 그중에는 이미 일제 강점 하에 돌아가신 분도 있고 외국인도 적지 않지만 여기에서는 8.15 이후 필자가 직접 만나고 그 행적을 익히 알거나 함께 일을 한 분들을 기록과 기억을 더듬어 소개하고자 한다.

국립수의과학검역원(원장 이주호, 이하 검역원)은 7월 9일부터 7월 11일까지 3일간 "건강한국! 청정한국! 제2의 도약!"을 위한 "국립수의과학검역원 100주년 기념행사"를 개최했다. 검역원은 설립 100주년을 맞아, 1909년 7월 '수출우검역소'로 출발한 근대 수의업무로부터 현재에 이르기까지 검역원의 역사적 의의와 성과를 재조명하고 미래의 발전방향과 비전을 제시하기 위해 이번 100주년 기념행사를 마련했다. 검역원은 지난 1909년 7월 '수출우검역소'를 시작으로 본격적인 근대 수의업무를 시작했다. 수출우검역소는 일제강점기였던 당시, 국내의 한우를 안전하게 일본으로 수탈해가기 위해 설립되었지만, 국내 최초의 수의전문기관이라는 큰 의의를 가지고 있었다. 이후 일제강점기를 지나 한국전쟁 등의 어려운 여건 속에도 검역원은 수의업무를 꾸준히 발전시켜, 100년이 지난 오늘날 세계적으로 인정받는 수의검역기관으로 성장했다.

Historical Documents on Proper Tree Selection System of Korea were collected in Japan and introduced in this review. Products of some pine species and fruit were used for laying a tribute to Kings in the Chosun dynasty. In this review, some case studies and implementation of proper tree selection system during the period of Japanese rule, the atlas of climatically favourable regions for the species of trees and bamboos in Korean peninsular, and the test results on regional afforestation, tree selection and proper tree selection of fast growing trees were introduced. Of these documents, especially, the atlas of climatically favourable regions of trees and bamboos growing in Korean peninsular is considered as a valuable document. It tis expected that these historical documents on proper tree selection system might be use as references for the researches on indigenous forest, forest resources development, afforestation of fire damaged areas, and the restoration project of North Korea by the time of reunification of Korea.
