The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of perceived medical service quality by outpatient on hospital image, satisfaction, and re-use intention in a general hospital. A total of 176 questionnaires were administered to outpatients who presented to a S general hospital in Daejeon. The results of this study are as follows. First, medical service quality had significant effects on re-use intention, satisfaction, and hospital image. Second, the mediating effect of satisfaction on the relationship between medical service quality and re-use intention was not significant but the mediating effect of hospital image on the relationship was significant. Third, satisfaction and hospital image had significant effects on re-use intention. Consequently, this study verified the influence of perceived medical service quality by outpatient on hospital image, satisfaction, and re-use intention in a general hospital. Further, considering that hospital image, rather than satisfaction, mediates the relationship between perceived medical service quality and re-use intention, it suggests that much more general satisfaction is required in the marketing activities of hospitals.

This is a convergence study to provide an effective way of managing nurses' job stress by improving nurse satisfaction through an integrated identification of the effect satisfaction level on job stress for nurses using an electronic medical record(EMR) system. The data were collected from August 1 to September 1, 2014. The participants were 377 nurses from C university hospital of G metropolitan city were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. The result shows that job stress decreases as nurses' satisfaction level of using the EMR system increases. Thus, a practical job stress mediation program should be developed to continuously enhance nurses' satisfaction with the EMR system, which is expected to shorten the nursing record writing time and improve the quality of nursing service for patients. Furthermore, to improve the satisfaction with the EMR, appropriate management, such as continuous nursing education on the EMR system, will be needed.

This study is done to provide basic data on the effective operation of the new policies by examining the satisfaction level of the elderly with dementia visiting dementia care centers located in 25 autonomous districts of S city. Self-administered questionnaires were distributed to 217 elderly with dementia who visited the above dementia care center from July 1 to September 30, 2019. The satisfaction tool is a chart score scale that displays negative-positive expressions at both ends of a straight line. The result shows that satisfaction level is significantly higher in the group with trust in the visiting institutions than in the group with distrust (t=9.74, p<.001), higher in cognitive impairment group than in dementia group (t=0.13, p=.034), and higher in mild depression group than in more severe depression group (t=2.31, p=.022). Satisfaction ratios analyzed by logistic regression shows significant differences in factors like gender, age, education, and walking pattern. In conclusion, it is important to run health support programs that consider user characteristics to improve the satisfaction of newly introduced dementia care centers.

The purpose of this study is to provide an innovative way enhancing patient satisfaction in military hospitals by analyzing the impact of shared-decision making on patient satisfaction. The survey questionnaire has been distributed for a month in two hospitals with similar goals, serving for officers and men of the armed forces, and 514 copies has been collected for the study. The study found a positive association between shared-decision making and patient satisfaction. The results of the study suggest the military hospitals should allocate their resources on the fundamental issues such as improving quality of services they provide rather than reimburse the services to compensate the service the armed forces received from private institutions.

This study was conducted to identify the relationships among professional self-concept, academic self-efficacy and major satisfaction in nursing students. Data were collected from 137 nursing students by means of self reported questionnaires about professional self-concept, academic self-efficacy, and major satisfaction from October 19 to 23, 2017. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. There were significant correlations among professional self-concept, academic self-efficacy, and major satisfaction. Predictor that has an effect on major satisfaction was professional self-concept among nursing students. This factor explains thirty-six percentile of total variances of major satisfaction. This study suggests that professional self-concept is positively influenced on major satisfaction. To enhance major satisfaction for nursing students, it is necessary to develop specific course or training program in curriculum for increasing professional self-concept.

In this study we investigate how motive and personal relations of volunteers impact their volunteering satisfaction. The objects were 313 members of a volunteer group in ${\bigcirc}$-gun, central region. We conducted survey from 2014 April 2 to August 31. The data were analyzed by correlation analysis, t-test, multiple regression analysis, through SPSSWIN 18.0 program,(empirical analysis verification : significance level of 5%). The results are as follows: First, with the general characteristics, we found that females, the educated, and the married get more satisfaction. Second, with the local characteristics, long-term residents and the members, who think volunteer activity contribute to the local development, feel more satisfaction. Third, volunteer who has high participation motives, has strong volunteering satisfaction. Finally, volunteers feel more satisfaction when they maintain a good relationships in interpersonal relationship. This study implicates that volunteer activity participation motives and personal relations have a great impact on volunteering satisfaction, to be the basis for volunteer's satisfaction improving policy in the future.

The purpose of this research was to investigate factors influencing learning outcomes and effects of self-directed learning ability and motivation on learning satisfaction of nursing students in blended learning environment. A survey was used, and the subjects were 140 undergraduate students participated in Adult Nursing lesson at D University. Data collected from 9 to 14 June, 2014. There were no significant differences among general characteristics. Self-directed learning ability and learning satisfaction had significant correlations with each other (r=.25, p=.003). Self-directed learning ability was significantly associated with learning satisfaction, explaining 22.1% of the variance (F=20.74, p<.001). The results suggest that further research is needed to consider self-directed learning ability of students and to test the advantages of blended learning in developing contents in blended learning.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the effect of stress and the behavioral index factor of the people with intellectual disabilities living in residential facilities on their life satisfaction. A questionnaire survey was conducted between March 5 and September 22, 2014 among a sample of 200 people with intellectual disabilities living in the residential facility in Daejeon Metropolitan City. Surveyed data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation models using SPSS WIN 18.0 and Amos 21.0 program, and verified at 5% significance level. Results from the study are as follows. First, no link was found between stress and their life satisfaction. Second, no correlation was identified between the behavioral index factor and their satisfaction with the facility. Third, concerning the physical symptoms it was indicated that their satisfaction level with the facility bears a positive relationship with their overall life satisfaction. These findings would provide a solid base from which policy makers can develop the policies to improve the satisfaction of people with intellectual disabilities living in residential facilities and reduce stress in their daily life.

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-leadership, psychological empowerment and job satisfaction in dental hygienists, who form major manpower directly affecting dental care service, and to develop a plan for good-quality intra-organizational personal improvement. To collect data, convenience sampling was performed from May 1 to June 10, 2017 among clinical dental hygienists working at dental hospitals and clinics in Chungcheong and Jeolla Provinces and a self-administered questionnaire was used. Self-leadership was positively correlated with psychological empowerment and job satisfaction; psychological empowerment was positively correlated with job satisfaction. The factors for job satisfaction included psychological empowerment, dental system and self-conformity, and self-leadership. It has been confirmed that there is correlation among self-leadership, psychological empowerment, and job satisfaction in clinical dental hygienists; therefore, it is necessary to use positive psychological empowerment, establish a proactive self-leadership convergence program, and pay attention to the good direction and management of dental organizations with the objective of improving job satisfaction in dental hygienists.

The purpose of this descriptive correlational study was to identify the mediated effects of self-leadership on the relationship between subjective health status and living satisfaction of female university students. After collecting data from the 400 female college students at A University in Incheon from November 14 to November 30, 2016, the frequency analysis, t-test, Spearman's rho, multiple regression analysis, and the Sobel test were conducted using the SPSS 21.0 program. The life satisfaction of students was different depending on age of 20, a freshman, experience in part-time jobs and subjective health status. It has been shown that self-leadership is partially mediated in the relationship between subjective health status and life satisfaction. The results of this study could be used as a basic data for increasing interest in subjective health status and for continuing to develop programs related to self-leadership in order to enhance the life satisfaction of female college students.
