This article suggest a research method to extract user needs for designing social interface of a service robot. We first discuss social design issues for the service robot. Then we present a novel survey method for the service robot based on the social design issues and robot characteristics. Finally we discuss survey results, answered by Korean customers, of functional needs, social characteristics, product design for a home service robot. It is analyzed that Korean customers expect the image of home service robot as “a late teenager female who helps household work effectively”

As the scale of e-commerce has been increasing, information about products and service become diversified, Most current internet shopping mall. however, provides product information to consumers in collective arrangement. thus they devote a lot of efforts and time to select the product they want, In this paper, as providing consumers convenient interfaces adapting feature inquirer and parallel coordinate, a method for selecting a right product through searching the wanted products easily and comparing their features efficiently has been proposed. To evaluate the efficiency of the method proposed in this paper, several experiments to measure the time spent and the number of clicks of mouse taken in finding the product they want have been conducted. The results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

본 논문은 스마트 TV 플랫폼에서 실행되는 앱이 TV 에 특화된 기능을 수행하기 위해서 필요한 스마트 TV확장 API 의 정의와 그 구현에 대한 내용을 소개한다. 2013 년 3 월 TTA 에서 제정된 "HTML5 기반 스마트 TV 플랫폼" 표준은 스마트 TV 용으로 제작된 하나의 앱이 다양한 TV 수신기에서 동일한 사용자 경험(UX)을 바탕으로 실행될 수 있는 TV 플랫폼 표준이며, 이는 HTML5 를 포함하는 최신 W3C 기술 규격을 기반으로 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 표준에 기술된 사항 중 채널과 프로그램과 같이 TV 에 특화된 기능으로 W3C 에 규격범위에 포함되지 않아 새롭게 정의된 확장 API 의 구조 및 기능에 대해서 설명한다. 확장 API 는 앱, 방송, 수신기의 세가지 항목으로 분류되어 상세한 인터페이스 기능을 정의하고 있으며 스마트 TV 플랫폼의 window 객체 아래에 전역 속성으로 계층 구조를 이루도록 설계되었다. 스마트 TV 앱은 이러한 확장 API 를 호출하여 방송과 연계된 다양한 서비스를 실현할 수 있다. 또한 본 논문은 확장 API 의 유효성 검증을 위하여 표준을 준수하여 구현된 수신기 플랫폼과 앱의 구현과 동작 사례를 제시하고 있으며, 유럽의 스마트 TV 방송 규격인 HbbTV 와의 비교를 통해서 API 의 장단점과 지원 범위를 확인하고 개선 방향을 모색한다.

While relevant studies emphasize the significance of user-oriented indexing associated with fulfilling both topical and non-topical needs of individual users, a great number of operational retrieval systems supports only those searches related to subject attributes of the users' needs. Retrieval systems for presidential image collections are not an exception for such a restriction. Upon this reality. this study seeks diversification of access points for presidential images based on descriptors directly presented by potential user groups. Improvements of subject-based descriptors are suggested based on those descriptors identified.

This paper describes the design and implementation of system for editing SGML document instance using document structure information of SGML DTD. For make use of structure window for logical structure expression of document to SGML document editing without editing mistake of user and easy update the using support to editing process of elements, attributes, entities tools and product document, and valid using SGML parser. In digital contents industry there is a high demand to convincingly mimic the appearance and behavior of natural phenomena such as smoke, waterfall, rain, and fire. Particle systems are methods adequate for modeling fuzzy objects of natural phenomena. It is clear which parameter of which action in a particular effect should be modified for a particular visual result. The generator is usable for offline animation and for real-time special effects in digital contents and virtual reality. The application programmer is able to specify different accuracy needs for different effects. This paper design special effect generator for make low-price and high-quality digital contents in reflection industry and virtual reality applications.

This paper is addressed to a design and implementation of Korean voice web browser using voice technologies for controling web browser and selecting contents in the web document, and converting them to voice after HTML analysis. Main feature of this web browser is universal design which considers both of normal person and visual disabled, allows multi-modal interface. As voice interface for visual disabled, it supports tree structure which allows to recognize web document structure easily by only voice guidance regardless of frame usage, can handle all elements described as tag in the web document, identify them as predefined different voice property according to element property. This method gets rid of additional guidance voice for element property without audio style sheet or additional programming effort.

본 연구는 eCRM 활용을 위한 운영 속성별 모델의 한 형태인 인터넷 콘텐츠를 기반으로 하여 그 특성을 파악하고, 이들 특성들에 의해 고객들이 사이트를 탐색하는 동안 경험하게 되는 플로우가 방문빈도 및 방문지속성인 고객밀착도에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 또한 고객밀착도가 eCRM의 활용에 어떠한 영향을 미칠 수 있는지에 대해서 연구하고자 하였다. 연구결과 콘텐츠 특성 요인 중 탐색의 편리성 및 디자인이 고객밀착도에 유의적인 영향을 미쳤다. 이는 인터넷 밀착도를 높이기 위해서는 인터페이스 중 탐색의 편리성과 콘텐츠의 디자인을 높게 지각할수록 고객의 방문빈도 및 지속성이 증가한다는 점을 시사하고 있다. 또한 콘텐츠 특성과 플로우 관계검증 결과 유의하게 결과가 도출되었다. 이는 콘텐츠가 가지고 있는 독특한 특성이 고객들로 하여금 흥미성, 새로움 추구 및 자발성을 이끌어 내야한다는 점을 시사한다. 플로우와 고객 밀착도와의 관계를 검증한 결과 유의적인 영향을 나타냈다. 이는 고객들이 사이트를 탐색하는 동안 플로우의 경험을 많이 할수록 밀착도인 방문빈도 및 방문 지속성이 높아진다는 점을 시사하고 있다. 마지막으로 고객밀착도와 eCRM 활용요인과의 관계를 검증한 결과 밀착도는 eCRM 활용요인인 고객유지(충성도), 신규고객확보(구전효과), 소비자 개발(고객 생애가치)에 모두 유의적인 결과를 보였다. 그러므로 eCRM을 활용하기 위해서는 인터넷 콘텐츠의 전반전인 고객밀착도를 제고할 수 있는 방안을 적극적으로 모색해야 한다.

AnyQuestion 1.0은 (주)두산의 '두산세계대백과 엔싸이버'의 인물분야만을 대상으로 한 질의응답형 정보검색 시스템이다. 본 시스템에서는 지식기반 질의응답, Logical Form 기반 질의응답, 단락 기반 질의응답을 통합한 3단계 정답 추출 방법을 제안하고 있다. 지식기반 질의응답은 본문의 구조화된 정보와 비구조화 된 정보로부터 정보추출 기술을 이용하여 구축한 지식베이스에 대한 질의응답을 목적으로 한다. "사용자의 질문에 대한 정답을 지식베이스에서 제시할 수 있는가?"와 "지식베이스에서 어떤 정보를 정답으로 제시해야 하는가?"는 3단계 정답 추출 방법에서는 상당히 중요하다 이를 위해서 질문 분석에서는 수동으로 구축한 지식베이스 속성 자질 정보와 다양한 규칙을 기반으로 질문 분석을 수행하였고, 이를 이용하여 지식기반 질의응답을 하였다. 실험결과, 지식기반 질의응답 할당 재현율은 65.4%, 지식기반 질의응답의 정확률은 81.25%였다. 백과사전 인물분야에 대한 지식기반 질의응답은 기존의 데이터베이스 분야에서 연구되어온 자연어 DB인터페이스를 활용한 질의응답으로 속도가 빠르며, 상대적으로 높은 정확률을 보였다.

Our paper deals with a method for supporting multiple call/sessions in a mobile terminal. The different identifier for each protocol layer is assigned to each session when a mobile terminal sets SDP for multimedia services. In particular, QoS based tasks are used for managing the traffics in radio interface. Also, queuing, admission control, load control, resource allocation and scheduling are done based on the priority of sessions. The various multimedia services which is different in the requirement of resource allocation are able to be serviced simultaneously because a mobile terminal can provide the various services based on this scheme.
