  • New media which appeared in accordance with the development of IT technology includes elements of the interaction to be developed as an interactive media. In the field of interactive media which can be most actively applied, there is the filed of experience exhibition based on the active participation of people who experienced. Interactive media applied to the experience exhibition area, in order to have an effective communication that is based on a high degree of immersion, has been utilized as a platform for educational contents. This study is intended to explore the elements of visual perception for developing an optimized interface in the perspective of children who are the main subject of educational contents to present the criteria for the development of an interface for children. Thus, this paper derives the elements by the analysis of the visual perception elements of children and the experiment for the immersion environment. By analyzing the results, this study is to present the criteria of the visual perception elements for the development of interactive media contents for children.

  • We commonly use the computer interface a generalized form. However, the requirement of the user various and some users cannot apply the general circumstance. For these requirements, this research suggests the non-verbal communication. The suggestion is that Mewing with the mouth in human behavior applies to the interaction of the computer This was offered in three forms. First, drawing application: second, the arcade game: third, the interactive book. in condusion, we confirmed that the suggestion of this research could be effectively used for the development of the human computer interface.

  • The present investigation is concerned with the embodiment of virtual museum offering effective interaction with user. In real museum, we mainly get text-based information and we can't operate ancient relics as well. Nowadays there are various information service system about untouchable articles in the museum on the WEB, but each medium presents rather individual and unilateral information than useful and integrated one. This paper aims at the embodiment of virtual museum makes up for the weak points of the previous services. This cyberspace provides user with free viewpoint and navigation utilities and additional information for the corresponding 3D relics effectively.

  • Multi-touch display system has recently attracted world wide attention due to easy accessibility to the various interactive media without any specialized equipments. Especially, Microsoft Sphere(R) shows a considerable promise in treating non-fiat multi-touch display. The distinctive feature of the system is a stable multi-touch interaction on a spherical display. To extend the possibility of the interactions to the more various display surfaces, this paper propose a multi-touch interaction system in the circumstance of the irregular convex surface. The proposed method can be used efficiently in various tangible interface, for example, the interactive diorama system at the exhibition or the tangible arcade game.

  • A corporate identity is an expression of a company's personality and philosophy. From Trademarks to Letterheads, most of companies are eager to show up themselves to the audience. Nowadays the Web has quid(Iy emerged as the most influential communications media for the public. In aspects of this situation, traditional corporate identity program has to change to accord with the new media. Especially print media news has broaden their line to the Web, but most of them are lacking in the express their Identity, Therefore, it is an urgent problem to find their Identity on the Web site.   • 현대 그래픽스 장치의 발전은 수년전까지 Pre-Rendered 방식을 사용해서 볼 수 있었던 영상들을 Real-Time Rendering을 통해 실시간으로 인터렉티브하게 제공하고 있다. 이러한 장치의 발전은 게임, 시뮬레이션, 미디어 아트 등의 많은 분야에서 변화를 불러 일으켰으며, 앞으로도 많은 변화를 촉진시킬 것이다. 이러한 변화 중 하나로 기존까지 실시간으로 영상을 생성하기 힘들었던 분야 중의 하나인 미술 기법들의 실시간 재생이 가능해졌다. 본 논문은 미술 기법 중 판화기법과 탁본기법을 가상의 환경에서 모사할 수 있는 어플리케이션인 Virtual Engraving과 Virtual Frottage를 제안한다. Virtual Engraving은 3차원 공간상의 가상의 물체에 대해 3차원 입출력장치와 Bump Mapping을 이용하여 조각행위에 대한 경험을 사용자에게 제공하며, Virtual Frottage는 탁본의 대상을 영상으로 받아들여 영상 처리 기법과 Pixel Shader를 통한 렌더링을 통하여 사용자에게 흥미로운 프로타주 기법의 경험을 제공한다. 두 어플리케이션 모두 시각적인 정보를 통해 사용자에게 미술 기법의 경험을 제공하며, Virtual Engraving의 경우 3차원 입출력장치를 통해 촉각적인 정보를 제공하였고 Virtual Frottage 역시 촉각 피드백을 제공할 수 있도록 연구 중이다. 이러한 미술 기법의 모사 연구는 사용자에게 보다 더 실감적인 경험뿐만 아니라 실 공간에서는 가능하지 않은 여러 효과를 제공할 수 있다.

  • The latest, Digital art is attempt new field's Art, that is utilize variously digital media image, sound, simulation, 3D holography. A large number of Digital Art is contact with the audience in pavilion(limit place and limit period). However, It will be possible, Digital Art can use place digital form media even there are indoor, outdoor, anywhere. Prior to study, I was to analyze the feature of Digital Art in order to using Digital Art, Interactivity make communication between humans and the art as well as cause audience participation, and take a role of bridge between human and space. A study was base on the relationship between human and space, space and Digital Art, Digital Art and human taken the focus interaction between human and space, and Interactivity of Digital Art. This paper analyze reciprocal action for utilize Digital Art in indoor space design, and this paper study expression about indoor design base of interactive.

  • Most cultural contents currently we face are not suitable for associating with state of arts and high technology as simply providing one-sided learning. Pictures and movies of cultural contents also sees to utilize for efficacy of cultural education. There are still some limitations to draw interest from users when providing one-sided learning for cultural study, which aims to only deliver knowledge itself. In this paper, we propose interactive HMD VR cultural contents that can support more experience to get rid of aforementioned limitations. To this end, we first select quite interesting and wellknown cultural contents from world wide to draw more attention and effect. To increase immersion, presence and interactivity we have used HMD VR and Leapmotion, which intentionally draws more attention to increase interest. The cultural contents also facilitate augmented information as well as puzzle gaming components. To verify, we have carried out a user study as well.

  • The computer hardware development has provided many chances of emergence between art and technology. In many cases today's interactive artworks cannot be completed without audience's participation. The interactive production process with technical supplementation can be celled feedback. Mr. Nam Jun Paik showed 'Participant TV' that interacts with audience's response in real time. It means artwork changes with the constantly changing value from the data set from human visual perception. Dan Graham showed another feedback related work, which delays 5second playback in mirror that implies consequence of time. Today's media art has to sublimate coincidence, time ant audience into philosophical artwork through consonance that comes with video and sound as we can see from Bill Viola. Stelarc produced artworks. That use input data that is weak signals from brain, muscles. Through a terminal display with player, body expanded meaning of media. Jeffrey Shaw's 'Legible City' provided a fabrication of the reality with the interaction of bicycle's pedal speed and steering direction that is controlled by 4river. RE:MARK used microphone as input device as Edmond Couchot's 'Je same a la vent' and Nam Jun Paik's 'Participant TV' did. There is no communication without feedback between human being. The reality makes audience involved into artworks. That is the reason why feedback has to be natural. Through the feedback process, the originality of the idea is altered by audience. The feedback is not just part of flesh of artwork rather skeleton of it. Technological showoff cannot be art itself The perfection of technological application plan helps feedback that interacts with audience naturally in order that audience hoes not feel the feedback as artificial plan. Interactive media art has to be evolved into new media form with new integration feedback technology.

  • Shadow images are a representative medium and means of expression for the imagination that exists between consciousness and unconsciousness for thousands of years. Wherever light exists, people create play with their own shadows without special skills, and have made a fantasy at once. Shadow images have long been used as subjects and materials of literacy, art, philosophy, and popular culture. Especially in the field of art, people have been experimenting with visual stimulation through the uniqueness of simple silhouettes images. In the field of animation, it became to be recognized as a form of non - mainstream areas that are difficult to make. However, shadow images have been used more actively in the field of digital arts and media art. In this Environment with technologies, Various formative imaginations are being expressed more with shadow images in a new dimension. This study is to introduce and analyze these trends, the aesthetic transformations and extended methods focusing on digital silhouette animation and recent media art works using shadow images. Screen-based silhouette animation combines digital technology and new approaches that have escaped conventional methods have removed most of the elements that have been considered limitations, and these factors have become a matter of choice for the directors. Especially, in the display environment using various light sources, projection, and camera technology, shadow images were expressed with multiple-layered virtual spaces, and it becomes possible to imagine a new extended imagination. Through the computer vision, it became possible to find new gaze and spatial images and use it more flexibly. These changes have given new possibility to the use shadow images in a different way.
