With the rapid distribution and active usage of the Internet, information search and retrieval through Internet has become a primary form of information access. This ubiquity of information access through Internet means the increased significance of search performance offered by Internet portals, since the optimization of search performance by portal has strong implication for the effective access of information through Internet in general. In this context, this paper investigates the classification scheme used in the directory service of internet portals, which provides selected and organized access to Internet information. First, the author analyzes the deployment of directory classification of standard subdivision topics used in traditional library classification system, with emphasis on the table composed of the form and approach, which are applicable to diverse subject areas. Then, based on this analysis, he proposed a method of applying certain subdivisions of the standard subdivision to directory service of Internet portals.

본 연구에서는 인터넷에 새롭게 등장한 블로그 서비스를 정보검색 관점에서 살펴보았다. 현재 블로그는 사용자 개인의 기록 및 커뮤니티 활동의 결과물일 뿐 아니라 1인 미디어로서 광범위한 정보전달 및 정보 제공기능을 하고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 블로그의 정보 라이프 사이클 및 블로그 정보검색에 대해 살펴보고, 국내의 대표적인 검색포털인 네이버 블로그를 중심으로 정보공유 및 검색을 지원하는 카테고리와 태그를 분석하였다. 이는 인터넷 정보검색의 중요한 정보원으로서 블로그의 지식정보 검색을 위한 기초 연구가 될 것이다.

인터넷 사용의 급격한 증가와 방대한 자료로 인하여 검색엔진에 대한 요구가 높아지고 있으며, 인터넷을 통한 쇼핑이 확대됨에 따라 가격에 대한 정확한 검색과 필터링이 불가피하게 되었다. 현재 정보를 찾기 위한 많은 검색엔진이 존재하지만 실제로 사용자가 필요로 하는 정확한 정보를 찾아주지는 못하고 있다. 따라서 특화된 검색엔진이 필요하게되고, 이로 인해 가격비교 검색엔진이라는 특화된 비교 검색엔진을 제안한다. 구현에 사용된 데이터베이스는 MySQL이며 스크립트 언어는 PHP이다.

인터넷과 전자 상거래의 발전은 고도의 상행위인 경매를 인터넷상에서 할 수 있게 했고, 현재 많은 인터넷 경매 시스템이 운영 중이다. 인터넷 경매가 활성화됨에 따라 인터넷 경매 사용자를 위한 소프트웨어 에이전트 시스템의 연구가 진행이 되고 있다. 경매는 상품의 가격변동이 심한 특성을 가지고 있으며 따라서 인터넷 경매기술 중 경매 모니터링 기술을 이용한 빠른 정보의 입수는 경매 참여자의 이익을 위해 꼭 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 비교검색 기술과 실시간 검색에 중점을 두어 경매 모니터링을 지원하는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 여러 경매 사이트의 경매정보를 수집하여 비교 검색할 수 있게 했으며, 빠른 가격변동에 대응한 수 있는 실시간 경매가 가능하게 했다. 또한 입찰자의 이익을 위해 물품의 낙찰가격정보를 기존의 사례를 이용하여 제공한다.

인터넷에서 제공되는 각종 서비스들의 목록으로 구성되는 공개되고 공유되는 디렉토리 시스템과 이들로 구성된 네트워크를 통하여 정보를 검색할 수 있는 환경을 제안하여, 기존의 인터넷 검색도구들이 가지고 있는 검색의 비효율성과 개인정보 침해의 단점을 보완하며, 정보의 생산자가 능동적으로 정보를 제공함으로써 정보 공유의 목적을 이루는 시스템을 설계한다.

University library users prefer the internet to OPAC, when they search for information. It is necessary to develop interface of OPAC that is nearly as convenient as the internet. This study provides users with University Library Toolbar which is one of the ways to implement Web 2.0, and proved that OPAC is also a convenient and useful searching tool by offering the toolbar. In addition, the causes of the preferences of the internet sites surveyed for this study and the point shown in the comparison between the internet and OPAC are going to be essential materials to implement more convenient OPAC and Library 2.0.

최근 인터넷과 정보통신기술의 발달로 정보검색시스템과 DB의 구축 및 정보서비스가 급격하게 증가하고 있다. 인터넷의 등장과 함께 DB 검색은 도서관이나 정보센터는 물론 일반 국민들에게도 생활화되어 가고 있다. 따라서 늘어나는 DB 중 검색목적이나 필요에 적합한 DB를 선정하여 효율적으로 이용하는 일이 점점 더 중요해지고 있다. 이와 같이 적합한 DB를 선정하여 효율적으로 이용하는 일에는 정보검색시스템이나 DB에 대한 올바른 평가가 전제되어야만 가능한 일이다. (중략)

This paper investigates empirically the lead-lag relation between the 'apartment price index' and 'Internet search volume'. This study uses Naver Trend Index as a proxy for Internet search volume. An increase in Internet search volume on the apartment price index indicates an increase in people's attention to an apartment. Different from previous studies exploring the relation between 'the released price index of the apartment' and 'Naver Trend Index', this study investigates the relation of the Naver Trend Index with 'the fundamental price component of an apartment' and 'the transitory price component of an apartment', respectively. The results of the Granger causality test reveal that there are bidirectional Granger causalities between the 'released price' and Naver Trend Index. In addition, the 'fundamental price component of an apartment' and Naver Trend Index have a feedback relation, while 'the transitory price component of an apartment' Granger causes the Naver Trend Index uni-directionally. The impulse response function analysis indicates that the shock of apartment prices increases Naver Trend Index in the first month. Overall, The close relationship between apartment prices and Naver Trend Index suggests that increases in the movement of apartment prices are positively associated with public attention on the apartment market.

인터넷의 양적 질적 성장을 통해 인터넷상에 존재하는 웹 문서의 숫자는 엄청난 속도로 증가하여 왔다. 이러한 방대한 웹 문서를 대상으로 한 검색 방법은, 지금까지 일반적으로 텍스트 기반의 방법이 주류를 이루어 왔다. 그러나 웹 문서는 멀티미디어 형태로 존재하며 텍스트, 이미지, 동영상, 컴퓨터 그래픽 둥 다양한 미디어들로 구성되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷에 존재하는 웹 문서를 대상으로 내용 기반 이미지 검색방법을 제시한다. 내용기반 웹 이미지 검색 시스템은 웹 상의 텍스트 기반의 기존 상용 검색엔진을 이용하여 주요 검색어에 대한 이미지를 수집하는 웹 이미지 수집기와 수집된 이미지에 대해 MPEG-7 비주얼 기술자를 이용하여 데이터베이스에 색인하는 데이터베이스 불리기(population), 그리고 내용 기반 이미지 검색엔진으로 구성된다. 사용자는 장르, 주제 및 주요단어에 의해 분류되어 데이터베이스에 색인된 웹 이미지를 대상으로 검색이 가능하다. 이는 웹 문서를 직접 대상으로 한 특정 단어에 대한 내용 기반 이미지 검색이 가능하며 검색이 데이터베이스를 대상으로 이루어지기 때문에 빠른 검색 속도를 얻을 수 있으며, 또한 기존 웹에서 제공되는 텍스트 기반의 상용 검색엔진을 이용하여 주요단어에 대한 웹 이미지를 수집하여 색인하기 때문에 별도의 텍스트 검색엔진 구현을 필요로 하지 않는다.

현재 인터넷에는 많은 종류의 검색사이트가 존재하며 이를 통해 보다 쉽게 정보를 이용하고 얻을 수 있다. 또한 대다수 검색사이트의 경우 단순히 검색서비스를 제공하는 사이트로서보다는 전자우편, 쇼핑, 경매 등과 같은 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 포탈(Portal)사이트로 발전해 가고 있다. 이는 한가지 컨텐츠만으로는 인터넷에서 확고한 자리 매김을 할 수 없기에 일어나는 현상으로 보여진다. 그렇지만, 현재 검색사이트가 가진 서비스와 검색에서 활용성에 대한 문제가 있다고 보여진다. 그것은 기존의 검색사이트가 포탈서비스로 전환함에 따라 고유의 기능을 잃거나 포탈의 모형완성에만 노력을 기울여 검색에는 소홀한 것으로 보여진다. 이에 논문에서는 현존하는 한국의 검색사이트들의 현황을 파악하고 이러한 검색사이트들이 어떠한 컨텐츠를 지향하고, 어떠한 방향으로 나아갈 것인가에 대한 분석을 하였다. 이 논문에서는 현재까지 선행되었던 연구들이 검색엔진에 대한 것이었으나 검색사이트의 검색형태나 검색의 능력에 관한 연구가 보고되고 있다. 현재검색사이트가 포탈형태로 나아가고 있는 시점에서 검색사이트의 포탈형태에 대한 연구는 매우 부족하다. 이번 연구에서는 국내의 7개 검색사이트를 중심으로 검색결과와 카테고리 형태에 대하여 분석하고, 제공서비스 측면에서는 메일서비스, 쇼핑서비스의 문제점과 특징적 서비스의 잘못된 방향에 대한 문제점을 파악하고 개선안을 제시하였다.
