An Analysis on the Demand of Rural Settlement Support Services for Rural Residents (경북 울진군 기성면 척산리 중심의 농촌정주지원 서비스 요구사항 분석)

  • 영국에서는 농촌문제의 심각성과 범정부적 대책 마련에 대한 부처간 인식 공유가 증가함에 따라 2000년 "농촌백서"에 '농촌서비스 표준화(Rural Services Standard, RSS)'를 제정하였다. RSS는 농촌 주민의 삶의 질 제고와 복지 서비스 향상을 위해 달성할 주요 서비스의 National Minimum을 의미한다. 매년 RSS 운용에 대한 지속적인 모니터링을 통하여 내용을 매년 업데이트 하고 있다. 교육 및 아동서비스, 광대역 통신, 사회적 돌봄, 우체국 서비스, 보건, 인터넷 접속, 긴급 서비스, 교통의 8개분야 13개 서비스 기준을 설정 제시하고 있다. 우리의 경우도 농촌 주민의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 범정부적 투자가 이루어져 왔지만 농촌지역의 사회서비스 기준을 도시와 비교해 보면 아직도 부족한 부분이 많이 있다. 농촌 인구가 감소되고 있는 상황에서 지속적인 하드웨어 중심적 투자에 대한 의문제기와 함께 농촌 주민들이 최소한의 공적 서비스를 활용할 수 있는 기반이 되어야한다는 의견이 대립되고 있는 가운데 그 해결책을 찾기 위하여 '농촌 서비스 기준'을 설정하자는 논의가 추진되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 인구 5만 이상 군지역에 속하는 경상북도 울진군 기성면 척산리를 중심으로 농촌 정주지원 서비스 요구사항을 분석하였다. 척산리에는 총가구 187호 363명이 거주하고 있으며 지난 3년간 인구 이동이 전혀 없었다. 주민들의 연령대는 50~60대가 가장 많으며 척산 3리가 가장 고령화 되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 교통 환경은 좋은 편이었는데 기성공용버스 정류장에 10곳 이상의 차편이 있고 7번 국도가 있어 타 지역으로 이동도 용이하였다. 마을에 보건/의료를 담당하는 곳은 보건진료소뿐이었으며 잦은 외근과 구급약 부족 등으로 불편을 호소하고 있었다. 응급상황 발생시 수송 가능한 응급체계는 갖춰져 있지 않았고 노인들이 가장 많이 이용하는 물리 치료실은 일주일에 3번 개방하기에 불편하다고 하였다. 3층 건물의 복지회관이 있으나 장날(5일장; 1일, 5일)만 개방되어 이용에 한계가 있었고 마을주민을 위해 운영되는 프로그램은 없었다. 논농사 중심의 경제생활이었고, 부녀회와 청년회 등은 면단위 또는 행정리로 묶어서 운영하고 있었다. 주민들은 울진군 면소재지 중 척산리에만 약국이 없어 불편한 사항이 많기에 약국, 물리치료실의 상시 개방을 필요로 하였으며 장날을 이용한 노인대상 영화상영, 강연회 등 다양한 문화프로그램 운영을 희망하였다.

  • Mobile cloud environment is recently becoming popular due to Internet access through various environments. Driven by computer performance improvement and service development, the demand for mobile cloud is increasing and accordingly the damage is on the rise. Therefore, it needs to conduct a study on problems of security necessary in large database that occurs in mobile cloud services. Although various security solutions limiting database access, security strategies about new user environments should be analyzed. This study analyzes weakness of safe data access through database management in mobile cloud environment and examines security requirements for safe data management. In addition, this study looks into threatening factors of security in cloud services and then draws security requirements about safer access control. A study on system application and evaluation of security requirements about access control is required.

A Load-Sharing Scheme using SCTP Multi-homing (SCTP 멀티호밍 특성을 활용한 부하 분산 기법)

  • Networks often evolve to provide a host with multiple access points to the Internet. In this paper, we propose a transport layer load distribution mechanism utilizing the multiple network interfaces simultaneously. We specifically propose an extension of Stream Control Transmission Protoco1 (SCTP) to have load sharing over multiple network interfaces. We named the particular service provided by the Proposed load sharing mechanism to be LS (Load Sharing) mode service. LS mode service is based on the following four key elements: (i) the separation of flow control and congestion control, (ii) congestion window based striping, (iii) redundant packet retransmission for fast packet loss recovery, (iv) a novel mechanism to keep track of the receiver window size with the SACKS even if they arrive out-of-order. Through simulations, it is shown that the proposed LS mode service can aggregate the bandwidth of multiple paths almost ideally despite of the disparity in their bandwidth. When a path with a delay of 100% greater is utilized as the second path, the throughput is enhanced about 20%.

  • Web-Mail Services are implemented with SMTP and POP3 in these days. These web mail services provide not only the basic sending and receiving functions but also additional functions for user. However, the sent and received data are stored in the web mail server. So general web mail users can't process their mail data if they have not access ID for the web mail server. In this paper, we design and implement WMIS (Web Mail Integration System) using XML. In the proposed system, mail data and user's environments in the old web mail system are transformed into XML documents and inserted into database. In order to store XML data into database, we use dynamic document processing method and analyze XML file by record unit. When the users change their mail accounts, they easily can establish the web environments and their mail data. Because the transformed XML document is converted into WML easily, the WMIS can reduce development cost, labors and time.

Hereupon XML about under make binary the standard which reduces the size of the document from ITU-T and ISO/IEC it was under proposing with commonness, currently binary XML encoding where it is in the process of advancing standard there are Fast Infoset and Fast Schema. In this paper, implementation of Fast XML encoding system through introduction Fast Infoset algorithm and Fast Schema algorithm for web services increase performance.

  • Today the fastest growing communities of web users are mobile visitors who browse web page with wireless PDAs and cellular phones. However, most web pages are optimiaed exclusively for desktop clients on the broadband network and are inconvenient to users with small screen mobile devices. They display only a few lines of text and cannot run client-side programs or scripts due to lack of system resource. Even worse, their connections are usually slow to support most of the data-intensive applications. In this paper, we propose a pageslet scheme that makes it feasible to browse ordinary web pages on small screen mobile devices. It extracts broadcasting sections of user preference from broadcasting web pages and automatically reorganizes the extracted sections for convenient browsing on mobile devices.

  • An explosive growth of mobile devices and smart phones, such as Tablet PC using wireless Internet, is changing the Information environment rapidly. Smart technology telecommuting work or smart work centers, mobile devices, and configure your environment to take advantage of remote collaboration. Also, you do not have the limitations of time and space provides a flexible working environment. Smartwork environment is an IT environment to be provided to carry out the business by accessing remotely via smart device outside of the internal IT infrastructure of an existing. Smartwork system to increase the work efficiency is present to what information protection threats according to their convenience. Safeguards information that can be utilized to build a secure smartwork environment is required. Therefore, in this paper, we examined the worksmart information protection measures that can protect the information be reconciled smoothly to fit the smartwork environment.

Design and Performance Evaluation for VPNs based (MPLS 기반 VPN 제공을 위한 설계 및 성능 분석)

  • This paper proposes that an efficient routing entry sending method between routing controller FE. based on this method, we organize IP VPN support method based on MPLS network and design MPLS-VPN service control module, MPLS-VPN processing, VPN group configuration and LSP setup processing. We evaluate the performance about the VPN based on proposed MPLS, at the result of evaluation. We figure out that based on proposed IPC method, lost packets number reduces and delay increases more slowly in case of VPN based on MPLS comparing with the VPN based on ATM which has rapid delay increasement. Therefore we confirm that the VPN based on MPLS has high speed of packet processing and high utilization of buffers through the performance evaluation.

  • As the Internet has been improved to Web 2.0, it introduces new approaches including Rich Internet Application (RIA) technology such as Flash, AJAX, Silverlight, etc. The RIA which is platform independent technology allows applications to provide rich client-side interfaces, and allows the browser to interact with users without communication to server. In this paper, we propose a method of spatial data service based on RIA technology. Internet map service using spatial data generally requires rich client-side interfaces and various interactions. These features can be provided by the RIA. The proposed method uses Flash developed by Macromedia as RIA technology. It can be applicable on any platform including mobile environment. The spatial data server makes Flash file known as SWF (Shock Wave File) with manipulation code for map and spatial data that is requested by user, and send it to the web browser. Once the web browser receives a SWF, client SWF manipulates user interactions, such as zooming and panning, without communication with server. Experiments that execute the application on various web browsers including mobile web browser and measure time of map interaction are carried out to compare with traditional bitmap based WMS (Web Map Service). As a result of experiments, we have confirmed improvement of interactivity and performance with RIA approach.

  • Financial companies are providing electronic financial transactions through a variety of user terminals for non-face-to-face services such as Internet banking, smart phone banking, or etc. However, in these services users' security awareness and the limitations of technical responses has frequently caused the financial loss so that fundamental protection measures are required from financial authorities. Accordingly, financial industry is planning and establishing systems that block unusual financial transactions by comprehensively analyzing and detecting user's electronic information, access information, transaction information, and so on in accordance with "Guide for building Unusual financial transactions detection system" to prevent the financial loss that happens in electronic financial transactions. In this paper, we analyze case studies of unusual financial transactions detection and prevention system that is built and operated in financial companies and current operating status and propose effects of the accident prevention and security measures later.
