  • The Internet of Things (IoT) technology, a key growth engine of the 4th industrial revolution, has grown to a stage where it can autonomously communicate with each other and process data according to space and circumstances. Accordingly, the IT infrastructure becomes increasingly complex and the importance of the monitoring field for maintaining the system stably is increasing. Monitoring technology has been used in the past, but there is a need to find a flexible monitoring system that can respond to the rapidly changing ICT technology. This paper conducts research on designing and testing an open source-based Prometheus monitoring system. We builds a simple infrastructure based on IoT devices and collects data about devices through the Exporter. Prometheus collects data based on pull and then integrates into one dashboard using Grafana and visualizes data to monitor device information.

  • In the recent education market, Edutech technology, in which various digital technologies are grafted into the education, is being actively applied due to the 4th industrial revolution and the development of ICT. In particular, realistic experiential learning contents that can provide realistic and immersive learning in a virtual space are in the spotlight and are being expanded to each field. However, in the field of Korean medicine education, the introduction of ICT is delayed due to the nature of Korean medicine, difficulties in apprenticeship education, quantitative education, and the absence of an objective evaluation system. Therefore, in this study, we propose a digital technology application for acupuncture and acupuncture points, where practice is particularly important in Korean medicine. Various methods of acupuncture and acupoints education using AR, MR, IoT and Touch-Display Table will provide an opportunity to change the paradigm of Korean medicine education and further contribute to the globalization of Korean medicine.

Application Scenario of Integrated Development Environment for Autonomous IoT Applications based on Neuromorphic Architecture (뉴로모픽 아키텍처 기반 자율형 IoT 응용 통합개발환경 응용 시나리오)

  • As the use of various IoT devices increases, the importance of IoT platforms is also rising. Recently, artificial intelligence technology is being combined with IoT devices, and research applying a neuromorphic architecture to IoT devices with low power is also increasing. In this paper, an application scenario is proposed based on NA-IDE (Neuromorphic Architecture-based autonomous IoT application integrated development environment) with IoT devices and FPGA devices in a GUI format. The proposed scenario connects a camera module to an IoT device, collects MNIST dataset images online, recognizes the collected images through a neuromorphic board, and displays the recognition results through a device module connected to other IoT devices. If the neuromorphic architecture is applied to many IoT devices and used for various application services, the autonomous IoT application integrated development environment based on the neuromorphic architecture is expected to emerge as a core technology leading the 4th industrial revolution.

  • Due to technological advancements in viewing devices and the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of OTT-only content is being produced and distributed as people shift from traditional movie theater viewing and broadcasters' fixed TV viewing to free-form OTT viewing using wired and wireless internet. As a result, the ability to leverage data from OTT audiences has become critical to the competitiveness of the industry. However, third parties other than OTT content providers are facing difficulties in acquiring OTT viewer data. In this paper, as a way to overcome the shortcomings of existing viewer data acquisition, we propose a method to extract audio and video data by developing an OTT viewing data acquisition agent using Web APIs by adopting a web browser environment that does not affect the performance of OS and viewing devices, so that third-party companies that need viewing data can utilize it.

Success Factor in the K-Pop Music Industry: focusing on the mediated effect of Internet Memes (대중음악 흥행 요인에 대한 연구: 인터넷 밈(Internet Meme)의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • As seen in the recent K-pop craze, the size and influence of the Korean music industry is growing even bigger. At least 6,000 songs are released a year in the Korean music market, but not many can be said to have been successful. Many studies and attempts are being made to identify the factors that make the hit music. Commercial factors such as media exposure and promotion as well as the quality of music play an important role in the commercial success of music. Recently, there have been many marketing campaigns using Internet memes in the pop music industry, and Internet memes are activities or trends that spread in various forms, such as images and videos, as cultural units that spread among people. Depending on the Internet environment and the characteristics of digital communication, contents are expanded and reproduced in the form of various memes, which causes a greater response to consumers. Previously, the phenomenon of Internet memes has occurred naturally, but artists who are aware of the marketing effects have recently used it as an element of marketing. In this paper, the mediated effect of Internet memes in relation to the success factors of popular music was analyzed, and a prediction model reflecting them was proposed. As a result of the analysis, the factors with the mediated effect of 'cover effect' and 'challenge effect' were the same. Among the internal success factors, there were mediated effects in "Singer Recognition," the genres of "POP, Dance, Ballad, Trot and Electronica," and among the external success factors, mediated effects in "Planning Company Capacity," "The Number of Music Broadcasting Programs," and "The Number of News Articles." Predictive models reflecting cover effects and challenge effects showed F1-score at 0.6889 and 0.7692, respectively. This study is meaningful in that it has collected and analyzed actual chart data and presented commercial directions that can be used in practice, and found that there are many success factors of popular music and the mediating effects of Internet memes.

  • As the development of advertising industry and media the research about an advertisement get accomplished. As the result information resources called on the advertising materials are on an Increasing trend. However, it looks into the classification system In advertising field of KDC, the problems are as the follows : (1) the classification items are too incomplete, (2) the main class is badly arranged. The reason have no regard for the correlation with a science. So, it gives rise to confusion to the librarian and user. The purpose of the study is to present the improvement plan on the classification system in advertising field of KDC. In order to build the improvement plan, the four steps are utilized. The first step Is to investigate the characteristic of sciences on advertising and a type. The second one is to survey the current status of the library classification as KDC, NDC, DDC, and LCC. The third one is to analyse the classification system of library and web site on the advertising. The forth one is to grasp the problems on the classification system In advertising field of KDC.

  • A work as human's creatures are transformed to bits and multimedia. In the modem society which is governed by simulation, infornlation is symbolized and becoming easily reached to anyone. Thus, collections of image and composition can show a new world beyond the ethical viewpoint. The problem with worries about the differnce between the original and a copy and disappearence of the meaning in postmodern era is the problem of how to set the intellectual properties and copyrights.In this situation, sharing of information according to the theoretical concepts and process of digitalization of photos in the era of information-intensive society was presented. The ethics of intellectual properties and copyrights and in postmordern era were driven. After reviewing the intellectual properties in the era of national information infrastructure of twenty-first century and by identifying the problems, the directions of what we have to do as image makers, and the intellectual properties and copyright.

  • The technology of WiBro, combining advantages of high speed internet and wireless internet provides the effectiveness and convenience provided by broadband and convergence. WiBro has developed due to supports of the related industries. The advancement of WiBro have created driving force for network advancement. WiBro is a niche market among high speed Internet, wireless LAN, Mobile phone, wireless internet. Through building relationship between market share and the existed telecommunication service, WiBro could improve the convenience of users. The security controls have to be built considering vulnerabilities of WiBro. Based on the study, the architecture of WiBro was suggested through reviewing the vulnerabilities and security controls in the wireless network and wire network. The appropriate security measures to be applied in the environment of WiBro. The outcomes of the study could improve the usage of WiBro.

A study on Sensationalism of Advertisements on Online News Sites: Based on the Internet and Mobile Applications (온라인 뉴스사이트의 광고 선정성 연구: 인터넷과 모바일앱을 중심으로)

  • With several problems being pointed out with the rapid growth of online advertising markets, false, exaggerated or sensational advertisements are increasing. Particularly, the sensational appeal of online advertising is placed in the blind spot of deliberation on advertisements with any social consensus on the deliberation on online advertisements not made yet. According to these reasons, regulation and maintenance of the deliberation system are required for online advertising. In this study, content analyses on visual and verbal sensationalism in 2,009 advertisements were carried out based on 32 national online news services. According to the analyses, obscene advertisements on online news services are more than serious. In this study, based on the analyses, need for deliberation and regulation on online advertising is raised and direction of the deliberation on desired advertising is explored. In the future, effective advertising deliberate models need to be constructed through gathering opinions of the various members of the online advertising industry, such as advertisers, advertising agencies, media representatives, and publishers, etc.

Medical prescription design using QR Codes (QR코드를 적용한 진료 처방전 설계)

  • With recent development in information technology, IT convergence has been achieved ubiquitously in all areas of industry. In particular, there have been a lot of changes in medical IT conversion sector in terms of user service. In this regard, this paper attempts to propose an environment in which the existing paper prescription can be transferred in the form of QR codes using mobile handsets as one of practices from the perspective of user service. QR codes can minimize the burden resulting from the process of the output, delivery and storage of paper prescriptions. In addition, they can utilize the representation of the information in a wide variety of ways, and they are considered to be media that can minimize the risk of personal information exposure and falsification due to the restoration and encryption of the information. Accordingly, the application of QR codes to the medical field is expected to improve confidentiality ad storage capability of the information, along with users' convenience.
