JND based Video Pre-processing Adaptive to Quantization Step sizes for Perceptual Redundancy Reduction (시각적 인지 중복성 제거를 위해 양자화 크기값에 적응적인 최소 인지 왜곡 기반 전처리 방법)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 인지 영상 부호화에 사용되던 Just Noticeable Distortion(JND) 보다 더 압축에 적합한 모델인 Just Noticeable Quantization Distortion(JNQD) 모델을 제시하고, 이를 사용한 인지적 영상 압축 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 인지적 영상 압축 방식은 영상 코덱 내부의 Rate-Distortion Optimization(RDO)을 수정하지 않고 입력되는 영상의 불필요한 정보들을 미리 제거하는 전처리 과정으로서, JNQD 모델을 사용하여 보다 간단하면서 압축 효율을 크게 증가 시킬 수 있다. 기존 영상 압축의 전처리 방법들은 부호화기의 양자화 값을 전처리 과정에서 고려하지 못하여 부정확한 인지 중복성 제거 결과를 초래하였으나, 제안하는 방법은 영상의 특성뿐만 아니라 양자화 크기 값을 고려하여 적응적으로 인지 왜곡이 발생하지 않는 주관적 인지 중복성 제거를 전처리 과정에서 수행할 수 있다. 거의 유사한 주관적 품질 수준을 유지하면서 HEVC 참조 소프트웨어 대비 약 15%의 압축효율 향상을 보인다.

Distributed Cognitive Radio MAC Protocol Considering User Fairness and Channel Quality (사용자의 공평성과 채널품질을 고려한 분산형 무선인지MAC 프로토콜)

  • It is important that using of efficient radio resource because of deficiency spectrum problem, so that related to this problem many researches are have proceeded. To solve this problem, Cognitive Radio(CR) was suggested. The channels are allocated to the secondary users when the primary users don't use the channels, and unfairness of secondary users can be serious problem and channel quality of multichannel can be different due to the different traffic pattern of primary users. In this paper, we propose MAC prtocol both of the user's fairness and channel quality in CR networks. Simulation results show the comparison with CR MAC protocols.

Buyer-User differences in relationships among antecedents and e-learning attending intention (이러닝 수강의도와 선행요인간 관계에서 사용자-구매자 차이)

  • I guess that e-learning buying behaviors have some selection criteria which are interactivity, contents quality, perceived usefulness, and corporate reputation. And I propose that the effects of selection criteria on adaptation intention are moderated by buyer-user status. To accomplish research purpose, I conducted a field survey with a self-administered questionnaire in both user-buyer and analysed the causal relations among the variables by regression analysis. Findings are these. In all of the customer, interactivity, perceived usefulness, and corporate reputation had positive effects on re-attending intention to another e-learning class. In case of users(students), interactivity, contents quality, and perceived usefulness had positive effects, but buyer(parents) showed both perceived usefulness and corporate reputation had positive effects on re-attending intention.

  • According to the 2004 Sloan Consortium Report, distance education is the fastest growing sector of higher education. This study suggests a research model, based on an e-Learning success model, the relationship of the e-learner's self-regulated learning strategy, computer self-efficacy, and system quality perception of the e-Learning environment. As a result, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and service quality effect on e-learner's satisfaction. In addition to, self-regulated learning strategy based on computer self-efficacy is also important variable regarding e-learner's satisfaction.

Determinants of Intention to Use mobile E-book Based on the Technology Acceptance Model (기술수용모델에 기반 한 모바일 E-book 사용의도에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify factors on the user's intention of using mobile E-book based on TAM(Technology Acceptance Model). System quality(accessibility and convenience), information quality, and innovation as a user characteristics were chosen as the independent variable of this study, perceived easy of use and perceived usefulness were selected as potential variable, and user's use intention was selected as dependent variable. The survey was conducted by 170 high school students and structural equation modeling was used to analyze the relationships between factors. The results showed that information quality and the user's innovation have a positive impact on both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use while the other system factors did not affect perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use for mobile E-book. Finally, the perceived usefulness was found to have a positive impact on the user's intention to use mobile E-book.

  • 본 연구는 Building Information Modeling(이하 BIM)의 본연의 목표인 정보의 통합 관리 및 재활용 측면에서 모델의 정보를 정확하고 체계적으로 구축될 수 있는 품질검증의 필요성을 인지하고 이를 위해 BIM 모델의 품질검증 방안에 관하여 논의하고자 한다. 이를 위해 국내외 BIM 관련 품질관리 현황을 파악하고 국내 정보시스템 구축에 관한 지침으로 한국데이터베이스 진흥 센터의 데이터 품질관리 지침을 분석하여 BIM 품질검증 방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 그 결과 BIM 모델의 품질검증 방안을 구축하기 위해 첫쩨 사전적 의미로부터 품질관리의 개념을 수립하고, 그 대상을 설정 하였으며, 둘째로 품질관리의 최종 목표인 정보의 재활용 관점에서 단계적 접근방안으로 5단계의 전략적 방향을 제시 하였다. 마지막으로 BIM 모델의 품질검증 방안을 구축하기 위해 사례 분석을 토대로 BIM 모델 관점에서 품질 검증 시기, 기준, 방법을 제시하였다.

Foreigner Tourists Acceptance of Surtitle Information Service: Focusing on Transformed TAM and Effects of Perceived Risks (외국 관광객의 공연자막 서비스 수용에 관한 연구 - 변형된 기술수용모형과 인지된 위험의 효과 검증을 중심으로 -)

  • Recently, many interests in the economic contribution of performing arts for the city's tourist attractions have been increasing, and the policy projects supporting surtitle for foreign tourists are expanding. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the acceptance process of subtitle systems using the TAM(Technical Acceptance Model) to understand the influential relations of factors affecting the viewing of the performance of subtitling service by foreign tourists. Data for empirical analysis were collected in a survey of foreign tourists who had experienced performance subtitles with smart pads in three languages. The results of this study are as follows. First, the higher the information system quality of the performance subtitles, the higher the perceived usefulness of the subtitles. Second, for Korean performances, the decreasing level of both the performance-based risk and the psychological risk has a positive influence on the viewing intent. But, the decreasing level of the financial risk has a negative influence on the viewing intent. Third, the decreasing level of performance risk has a positive influence on the perceived usefulness, while the decreasing level of psychological risk has a negative influence on the perceived usefulness. Finally, the psychological risk has the moderating effect of the viewing intention, which it has a negative influence on the perceived usefulness.

The Impact of Service Recovery Justice on Customers' Residual Emotions: Focusing on the Moderating Role of Brand Relationship Quality (서비스회복 공정성이 고객의 잔여감정에 미치는 영향: 브랜드관계품질의 조절효과)

  • This study aims to investigate the relationship between service recovery justice, residual emotions, and customer behavior. It empirically verifies that low justice in service recovery affects residual emotions and, in turn, has an impact on customers' negative behaviors. Furthermore, this research distinguishes customer-brand relationship quality into emotional relationship quality and cognitive relationship quality and seeks to validate that the type of relationship quality may influence the extent to which the justice of recovery processes affects residual emotions. Data was collected through surveys, and hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling. The research findings indicate that among the dimensions of service recovery justice, procedural justice and interactional justice significantly influence residual emotions. Moreover, residual emotions have a significant impact on both the intention to revisit and the intention to engage in negative word-of-mouth. In addition, the impact of distributive justice and procedural justice on residual emotions was found to be higher for cognitive relationship quality than emotional relationship quality, and the impact of interactional justice on residual emotions was found to be higher for emotional relationship quality than cognitive relationship quality.

  • IPTV와 같은 멀티미디어 트래픽의 이용량이 증가함에 따라, 멀티미디어 서비스의 품질을 향상시키기 위한 스트리밍 전송 기법들이 연구되고 있다. 기존 연구들은 네트워크 상태를 고려한 스트리밍 전송으로 네트워크의 효율성과 공정성을 향상시켜 서비스 품질(QoS)을 보장하지만 사용자가 인지하는 체감 품질(QoE)을 동시에 보장하지 못하는 한계를 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스트리밍 서비스의 체감 품질을 향상시키기 위해 비디오의 품질을 단계적으로 변화시키는 스트리밍 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 수식 기반의 TCP(Transmission Control Protocol) 전송률을 기반으로 네트워크 상태를 측정하여 단계적으로 품질을 조절하고, 일정시간 동안 품질 조절의 수행을 제한한다. 이를 통해 급변하는 네트워크 상태 변화에 따른 잦은 품질 변화를 피하여 체감 품질을 향상시킨다. 실험을 통해 제안하는 기법의 유효성을 확인하였다.

A Study of the Systems Quality Effect on the Intention to Use of Cloud Computing Services in Information Center (정보센터 시스템 품질이 클라우드 서비스 이용의도에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the new roles and services of information center that is affected by changing information technology so called cloud computing service. Using Information Technology acceptance model, hypotheses were developed to find relationships among intention to use of a cloud service, perceived usefulness, perceived easy of use and three system quality evaluation factors such as data safety, network response time, and system accessibility. The hypotheses have been tested with 114 user surveys. This study presents the relationship between certain attitude and intention to use variables and system accessibility applying clouding service. The result of this research gives an insight of the evaluation and a guideline for the implementation of cloud computing services in information centers.
