본 연구는 우리나라의 연구 성과를 양적 측면과 질적 측면에 대해 계량정보학적으로 분석하는 것을 그 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 2013년 7월 22일 Web of Science SCIE(Science Citation Index Expanded)에 색인된 우리나라와 일본, 중국, 인도, 호주 논문을 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우리나라의 SCIE급 논문의 생산성은 연평균 약 18.1%로 매우 가파른 성장세를 보였다. 둘째, 2013년 현재 2007년에 발표된 우리나라의 논문은 인용절정기를 지나 단 한 차례도 인용 받지 않은 논문의 비율이 가장 낮게 나타났으며 2007년 이후 출판된 논문들은 그 비율이 점차 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, "h-지수" 안에 포함된 논문의 경우는 인용절정기를 지나더라도 지속적으로 인용을 받음으로 인해 출판 후 약 10년에 걸쳐 "h-지수"가 증가할 수 있음을 밝혀냈다. 넷째, 우리나라는 중국, 인도와 함께 양적 성과에 비해 질적 성과는 아직 미흡한 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to provide an in-depth analysis on the research productivity and the research performance of the School of Biological Sciences' faculty at the S University by their co-authorships and further to identify any difference in the citedness by their co-authorships. For the years 2004-2013, a total of 1,135 publications, published by thirty-nine faculty members, were collected and their publication patterns were analyzed by co-authorships. For the years 2004-2016, the citations to the 1,135 publications were analyzed by co-authorships. Among the four co-authorship types, the total number of publications by the domestic and international co-authorships amounted to 832(73.3%), and the study also found a statistical difference in the citation performance, i.e., the average number of citations per paper by co-authorships (F =4.830, $p=0.003^{**}$).

인용문은 인용자와 피인용자의 연구행태와 독성을 간접적으로 확인할 수 있는 중요한 매개체이다. 본 연구에서는 인용문을 매개로 하여 국내정기간행물의 필요성과 중요도를 측정하였다. 또한, 정기간행물의 피인용행태를 분석하므로서 문헌정보학의 학문적 특성과 영역을 간접적으로 확인할 수 있었다. 특히, 학회에서 간행된 학술지보다 기관발행 정기간행물의 연구효용도가 높았다.

This study aims to analyze and compare centrality and brokerage measures of journal citation network focusing on textmining research. The analytic sample was 193 academic articles collected from 136 KCI journals published in 2018. The journal citation network was constructed based on citation relations. The characteristics, centralities, and brokerages of network was analyzed. The journal citation network consisted 136 nodes and 413 links with directed and weight. According to the five types of centrality(out-degree, in-degree, out-closeness, in-closeness, betweenness), journals of social sciences, engineering, and interdisciplinary research showed higher centrality. Social sciences, engineering and interdisciplinary research journals also showed higher brokerages as a result of brokerage analysis which identify five types of brokerage roles(coordinator, gatekeeper, representative, consultant, liaison). The centralities and brokerages of journals are positively correlated. This study suggested how to construct journal citation network from the articles focusing on certain topics. This was meaningful study in terms of conducting brokerage analysis and comparing it with centrality in the journal citation network.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the accessibility of web resources contained in the references section of journal articles.1 was identified a total of 1,377 web citations for a major journal in information science over a ten year period. The results show that the accessible ratio of domestic web resources was at 40% and the ratio of foreign web resources about 50%. The accessible ratio of domain type web resources was shown 58% while the same ratio for file type web resources was 45%. This low accessibility of we resources in references poses threat to the overall value of journal articles.

본 연구에서는 국내 의학분야중에서도 기생충학분야의 연구자중 논문 생산성이 높은 저자 30명을 선정하여, 그들이 국내외 학술지에 발표한 학술논문 총 1,810편이 SCI에 어느 정도 인용되는가를 측정하였다. 총 1,810편의 논문중 359편의 논문이 1회 이상 SCI 학술지 논문들에 의하여 인용되었다. 한국 기생충학 논문의 93.1%가 한국학술지에 발표되었는데 그 인용률은 18.7%이고, 외국학술지에 발로된 논문은 전채 논문의 6.9%인데 그 중의 48.7%가 인용되었다. 즉, 외국학술지에 발표된 논문의 인용률이 한국학술지에 발표된 논문의 인용률보다 2.5배정도 더 많이 인용된 것으로 나타났다.

웹 자원의 휘발성에 대한 불안에도 불구하고 학술정보 유통의 거대한 통로로 웹이 부상함에 따라 웹상에 존재하는 정보자원들이 학술정보의 재생산에 활용되어 왔다. 이에 본 연구는 학술정보에 인용된 웹 자원의 현황을 살펴보고 그것의 접근성과 유용성이 어느 정도 보장되는지를 살펴보기 위해 문헌정보학 분야의 대표적인 학술지 중 하나인 한국문헌정보학회지를 대상으로, 2007년에서 2011년까지 5년간 수록된 논문에 인용된 웹 자원을 조사.분석하였다. 본 연구를 위해 수록된 논문들의 참고문헌 중 웹 자원 비율, 현시점에서의 웹 자원의 접근 가능성, 그리고 웹 자원 주소를 분석하여 도메인과 파일 각각의 비율과 종류에 대해서 조사하였다. 또한 표기된 웹 자원의 주소는 아니더라도 인용에서 사용한 정보를 통해 웹상에서 여전히 사용가능한지를 살펴보기 위해 세계 3대 검색엔진을 사용하였다.

There are some limitations in the existing bibliometric methods to satisfy the various requests of the interest parties including researchers, managers, policy makers to identify 1) which research group or researcher is the key player, and the overall trends of the particular technological sub-fields, 2) which research groups, institutions or countries mainly use their research outputs, 3) what are the spin-offs from research outputs to some scientific and technological fields, 4) in which levels they are when comparing their quantitative and qualitative research outputs to those of other competitive institutions. It is essential to develop new informetric indicators and methodologies in order to satisfy stakeholder's various demands and to strengthen qualitative analysis in measuring research performance. This study suggested informetric indicators such as article quality index, citation impact index, international cooperation index, excellent article production index and methodologies including citation analysis, text mining.

국내 인용 데이터베이스에서도 해외와 마찬가지로 저널 영향력 지수가 핵심 지표로 제공되고 있으며 저널 평가나 연구성과 평가의 기준 지표로 사용되는 경향이 확산되고 있다. 그러나 국내 저널에서는 논문이 발표된 당해년도에 인용되는 비율이 해외에 비해서 높기 때문에 이를 반영하지 않는 영향력 지수는 국내 저널에 대해서는 더 불완전한 지수라고 할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 여러 해에 걸쳐 발행된 논문이 특정 연도에 인용된 횟수로 평가하는 저널 영향력 지수와 달리, 특정 연도에 발행된 논문이 여러 해에 걸쳐 인용된 횟수로 평가하는 통시적 영향력 지수의 개념과 산출방법을 알아보고 정보관리학회지를 대상으로 시험 측정한 결과를 살펴본다.

The study investigated undergraduates' citation use and plagiarism awareness. A questionnaire method was used and was given to undergraduates in a university located in Seoul. Upon investigation, undergraduates recognized the importance and the need of citation and were partly applying citations. However, upon further investigation of undergraduates' citation learning with citation questions, very few of respondents had knowledge of correct citation usage. Undergraduates mostly cited print materials and information from the internet. They used books in case of print materials and web materials provided by academic institutions. They suggested that the university should teach citation usage through a citation and plagiarism awareness program. It is necessary for library use education (information literacy education) as well as university to teach citation education including citation type and how to write it.
