East Asian American Character's Characteristics in Children's Fictional Literature (아동문학도서에 나타난 주인공의 민족적 특성에 관한 연구)

  • Multicultural literature serves as a device for mutual understanding of different cultural. racial, and ethnic groups. This sort of literature is like a window through which a reader can see what other value systems are. It also helps minority children discover their own cultural past and develop a sense of belonging. The purpose of this study is to investigate the general characteristics of East Asian American characters in English language children's fiction and to highlight the differences among three groups : Chinese Americans, Japanese Americans, and Korean Americans.

  • Nowadays, in Korea, the number of campers is increased over 5 million. Many Korean camping brands have excellent qualities however, a lot of times weak brand identities to be globally known. The purpose of this study is to provide helpful sources to have strong brand identities, add more values based on related word research from big data and market research. The data is to be analysed by sensible & cognitive approaches. The keywords for the sensible research are 'camping, camp, camping brand, and camping design'. Then 17 representative oversea brands and 10 Korean brands were analysed for the market researches. From related word research from big data, we can find out the thinking process of potential consumers, how people communicates to exchange information, and what can be the sources to add brand values. Also from the market researches, we were able to find that successful brands have distinctive brand identities, stories, logos with representable colors and they continuous produce signature designs and own way of color matching.

  • 제 4차 산업혁명의 시대를 맞아 ICT 융합 차세대 물관리 시스템 관련 기술이 핵심적인 역할을 수행하게 될 것으로 예상되며, 이와 함께 다국적 기업의 시장 진출로 인한 경쟁심화가 예상되고 있다. 한편, 인구증가, 도시성장, 산업발전 및 기후변화에 따른 물부족, 물 수요와 물 공급의 불균형, 수질오염 등은 점점 더 심각해질 것으로 예상되고 있다. 또한, 수자원 산업에서 대상시설의 안전하고 경제적인 운영 및 유지관리를 목적으로 하는 운전, 감시, 진단, 보수, 개선 및 이를 위한 의사결정지원 기술인 운영관리(O&M, Operation and Maintenance) 기술의 중요성이 지속적으로 증가하는 추세이다. 스마트워터그리드(SWG)는 ICT 융복합 첨단 수자원 관리기술로 기후변화에 의한 물 부족과 수자원 인프라 노후화로 인한 효율저하 등 물 문제 해결을 위한 차세대 플랫폼으로 주목받고 있으나, 아직까지 스마트워터그리드 시스템 구축을 위한 장치, 부품, 공정, 설계, 시공 기술 등 주로 요소기술 확보를 목적으로 연구되었으며, 시설의 운영 및 유지관리 연구는 거의 진행되지 않아 효율적인 현장적용이 어려운 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 스마트워터그리드 데모플랜트 시설을 대상으로 운영 유지관리 기술의 고도화 기본방향, 세부 핵심기술, 추진방법 등을 제시하고자 한다. 특히 스마트워터그리드의 핵심기술인 AMI 기반 수운영 시스템을 대상으로 IoT 기반의 고효율 저비용 물 공급 체계 고도화 및 지능형 통합 운영 플랫폼 구축, Hybrid형 다중수원 활용 이동식 물 생산 시스템에 대한 운전제어 자가진단 운영관리 유지보수기술 등 원격 무인 자동화 물 생산시설 기술 고도화 개발방안에 대하여 중점적으로 다루고자 한다.

A Privacy Protection Method in Social Networks Considering Structure and Content Information (소셜 네트워크에서 구조정보와 내용정보를 고려한 프라이버시 보호 기법)

  • Recently, social network services are rapidly growing and it is estimated that this trend will continue in the future. Social network data can be published for various purposes such as statistical analysis and population studies. When data publication, however, it may disclose the personal privacy of some people, since it can be combined with external information. Therefore, a social network data holder has to remove the identifiers of persons and modify data which have the potential to disclose the privacy of the persons by combining it with external information. The utility of data is maximized when the modification of data is minimized. In this paper, we propose a privacy protection method for social network data that considers both structural and content information. Previous work did not consider content information in the social network or distorted too much structural information. We also verify the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method under various experimental conditions.

Using Malmquist Analysis to evaluate productivity of relocating Public Institution (맘퀴스트 분석을 이용한 지방이전 공공기관 생산성 평가)

  • South Korea's economic growth was rapid, It was occasioned the concentration of resources in the metropolitan area. On the other hand, the province has a narrow economic base compared to the metropolitan area, and the underpopulation have been identified. Thus, The government announced the 'National balanced development law' in 2004 to reduce the problem of regional imbalances. The study collected data on 95 of relocated public institutions, and unlike previous studies, Mamquist analysis was used to compare the productivity before and after each public institutions' s relocation. The study focused on how the relocation of public institutions affected the productivity of public institutions through Malmquist Analysis. The results of the analysis show that productivity is declining after most public institutions have moved. And two independent samples T-test result, respective yearly average is nonsignificant.

An Exploratory Analysis of OTT Usage Patterns (OTT 이용행태에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • Recently OTT video service has grown rapidly and has a negative impact on the growth of pay-TV subscribers. Consequently the substitution of OTT services for pay-TV services will begin. This study explores OTT usage patterns, dividing into three sectors (OTT service use, OTT usage volume, and paid-OTT service use), by considering users' demographice factors, smart device ownership, pay-TV subscription, and bundle service use, by employing the Mediapanel dataset. The results showed that age, income, smartTV usage, market size, cable/satellite subscribers, TV VOD expenses, movie VOD expenses, and mobile bundle use are associated with OTT service use. The results also showed that age, household sizes, tablePC usgage, cable/satellite subscribers, TV VOD expenses, other VOD expenses, and unlimited data plans are associated with OTT usage volume. Lastly the results showed that age, gender, income, tabletPC usage, cable subscribers, other VOD expenses, mobile bundle usage, and unlimited data plans are associated with paid-OTT service use.

Mexico IMMEX Program and the Changes of Maquiladora Industry (멕시코 IMMEX 프로그램과 마킬라도라 산업의 변화)

  • This study reviews the progress of maquiladora industry in Mexico and the development of the IMMEX program. The maquiladora program allows foreign-invested factories in Mexico to import raw materials and components duty free and to export the finished products to the U.S. It contributed to the increase in employment and population of border cities. Low wage level of Mexico induced not only standardized labor-intensive industries but also the high-tech automated industries requiring assembly process. In 2006, the Mexican government merged the maquiladora program and PITEX for Mexican export-oriented firms into a single new program, the IMMEX program, in order to promote exports more efficiently. This study presents the distributions of the IMMEX firms by industrial sector and by region. It is revealed that transport equipment sector leads the export industries in Mexico, and Tijuana and Juárez accommodate largest agglomerations of the IMMEX firms.

This also demands the localization of the international marketing strategies which establishes in grasp of consumer consuming propensity and purchase intention. It is the goal that provides a strategic current point to the Korean enterprise which enter to China. To observe a test of hypothesis results concretely from empirical analysis with after words is same. The hypothesis 1, 'corporate image really will plus affect(+) in purchase intention' the hypothesis was adopted. The hypothesis 2, 'brand image really will plus affect(+) in purchase intention' also the hypothesis was adopted. The hypothesis 3, 'product attributes really will plus affect(+) in purchase intention' also the hypothesis was adopted. The other research hypothesis which sex and age were rejected, school was adopted partially, others was adopted. When about the consumer who is used from empirical analysis measurement items in the center application presents the strategies which is possible in fact.

The Effects of Cultural Arts on the improvement of happiness index of Seoul citizens (문화예술이 서울시민의 행복지수 향상에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • In modern society, efforts to improve quality of life and happiness are emphasized compared to the past when economic growth was emphasized. The government has been implementing various policies to realize the happiness of the people through culture. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Cultural Arts on the improvement of the happiness index of Seoul citizens by dividing them into demand (enjoyment) and supply side by setting Cultural Arts as independent variable, unlike existing limited surveys or literature surveys, under the control of change, the temporal range was set for more than 10 years and then analyzed quantitatively by panel analysis. The results showed that the demand for cultural arts affects positively on the improvement of happiness index of Seoul citizens, but the supply of cultural arts had a meaningless effect. In order to improve the happiness index of the citizens of Seoul through supply, it is necessary to supplement the existing space and to promote cultural demand through differentiated cultural arts programs aimed at diverse classes but also the policy implication that cultural indifference groups and active participation of cultural underprivileged groups should be increased.

  • The role of local decentralization and balanced regional development becomes important due to the concentration of population due to urbanization, and the development of tourism contents in local governments is actively being attempted. However, this is largely due to quantitative growth, and it does not offer tourist content that offers a different experience while utilizing regional characteristics. This means that it is important to develop programs and contents that emphasize the identity of the region by cultivating local characteristics and build a different image. However, most of the small regions where characteristic resources are difficult to find have a problem that it is difficult to develop different programs and contents due to relatively few development opportunities and financial constraints. In this study, it was considered that it is effective to analyze characteristic features of the region and utilize the possessed assets as much as possible. Therefore, we propose a service design process that effectively supports ecotourism, one of the regional revitalization plan using local eco - assets. In the process, Venn Diagram Position and Context Map methodology was developed and verified through Sutonggol Observation Path.
