  • The purpose of this study is to examine the issues that can be expected in the smart intelligent information society led by artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, and how to resolve the issues in terms of PR.The results were as follows. First, there are three major issues that can be expected Second, in order to resolve the issue, it is necessary to prepare and carry out a public interest campaign to create and participate in a new paradigm for the alienated public. Third, welfare technology can be considered as an alternative to the issues.

  • 최근 아파트의 월패드 해킹 사건과 같이 사물인터넷의 보안이 매우 심각한 상황이다. 사물인터넷은 자동화된 데이터 수집, 분석, 의사결정으로 효율성과 생산성 향상하고, 실시간으로 모니터링이 가능하면서 저비용으로 개발이 가능하다. 그리고 현재 인공 지능, 빅 데이터 및 클라우드 컴퓨팅 등 다양한 기술과 융합이 가능해 더욱 발전할 전망을 가지고 있다. 그러나 활용 범위가 갈수록 방대해지지만 현재 기술력으론 완벽한 보안을 실현하기가 어려운 것이 현실이다. 그리고 해킹의 대부분 직접적인 피해 당사자인 소비자들은 스마트홈이 주는 편의에 대해서만 알 뿐 보안 위협요소에는 잘 알지 못한다. 스마트홈의 보급이 빨라지고 있지만 정부 및 제조사에서 아직 스마트홈 보안에 관련한 홍보 및 교육이 따라가지 못하기 때문이다. 이러한 점을 보완하기 위해 본 논문에선 스마트홈의 보안 실태와 보안 요구사항에 대해서 다양한 방안을 살펴보고자 한다.

  • The Internet of Things(IoT) is to build a hyper-connected society through interconnection, and on this basis, to improve the quality of life and productivity, including solving social problems, and to become the next growth engine for the nation. The open common eco-system pursued by the IoT can start with the under- standing of the word 'open'. The IoT can achieve the expected effect of lowering the barriers to entry of technology development, and in these changes, OSSW and OSHW play a very important role in accelerating IoT eco-system maturity and breaking the boundaries between industries to promote convergence. Recently, it has developed into an intelligent IoT that combines artificial intelligence (AI) with the connectivity of the IoT. Here, I will analyze the direction of development of the IoT through understanding and analysis of open source.

  • 본고에서는 최근 이슈화된 인공지능, 산업 간 경계를 허물어 새로운 산업을 유발하는 제4차 산업혁명, 모든 사물을 연결시키는 초연결 사물인터넷 등을 실현하기 위한 미래 네트워크의 연구개발 동향과 전망을 소개하였다. 모든 사물과 사람들이 디지털 정보화되고, 그 초 대규모 연결 주체간 초 연결성과 그 연결로 생성되는 무한대의 지식정보 서비스가 중심이 되는 초연결 지식정보화 사회 실현을 위한 기술적 특징을 소개하였다. 미래의 초연결 지능정보사회에서 예상되는 초 대규모의 연결성, 정보의 홍수, 초연결에 따른 상호복잡도의 증가, 초연결로 인한 정보화 역기능 문제점과 기술 방향성을 정리하였다. 이 문제점을 해결하기 위한 새로운 초연결 지능 플랫폼의 개념, 참조 모델, 그리고 세부적인 기술적 문제점과 도전방향에 대해 설명하였다.

A Resource Planning Policy to Support Variable Real-time Tasks in IoT Systems (사물인터넷 시스템에서 가변적인 실시간 태스크를 지원하는 자원 플래닝 정책)

  • With the growing data size and the increased computing load in machine learning, energy-efficient resource planning in IoT systems is becoming increasingly important. In this paper, we suggest a new resource planning policy for real-time workloads that can be fluctuated over time in IoT systems. To handle such situations, we categorize real-time tasks into fixed tasks and variable tasks, and optimize the resource planning for various workload conditions. Based on this, we initiate the IoT system with the configuration for the fixed tasks, and when variable tasks are activated, we update the resource planning promptly for the situation. Simulation experiments show that the proposed policy saves the processor and memory energy significantly.

  • SCM(Supply Chain Management)은 초기에 생산의 효율성 증대를 위해 생산 계획에 초점을 둔 제품으로 발전하였으나, 최근에는 수요자 중심으로의 비즈니스 패러다임 변화, 프로세스 간 상호연계 강화, 수요의 다양성 및 변동성 증가 등의 환경이 변화하면서 지능적인 SCM이 요구되고 있다. 지능적인 SCM은 IoT, 빅데이터, 인공지능 등의 기술을 활용하여 공급 사슬 전체에 대한 자동화, 자율화, 연결성을 보장하는 것을 강조하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 급변하는 비즈니스 환경변화에 대응하여 공급 사슬 최적화를 달성하기 위해 IoT와 빅데이터 기반의 SCM 시스템에 관하여 연구하였다.

Implementation of Hair Style Recommendation System Based on Big data and Deepfakes (빅데이터와 딥페이크 기반의 헤어스타일 추천 시스템 구현)

  • In this paper, we investigated the implementation of a hairstyle recommendation system based on big data and deepfake technology. The proposed hairstyle recommendation system recognizes the facial shapes based on the user's photo (image). Facial shapes are classified into oval, round, and square shapes, and hairstyles that suit each facial shape are synthesized using deepfake technology and provided as videos. Hairstyles are recommended based on big data by applying the latest trends and styles that suit the facial shape. With the image segmentation map and the Motion Supervised Co-Part Segmentation algorithm, it is possible to synthesize elements between images belonging to the same category (such as hair, face, etc.). Next, the synthesized image with the hairstyle and a pre-defined video are applied to the Motion Representations for Articulated Animation algorithm to generate a video animation. The proposed system is expected to be used in various aspects of the beauty industry, including virtual fitting and other related areas. In future research, we plan to study the development of a smart mirror that recommends hairstyles and incorporates features such as Internet of Things (IoT) functionality.

  • This paper introduces a smart aging service that helps the elderly lead a happy old age by actively utilizing IoT and AI technologies for the elderly who are increasing rapidly as they enter the aging society. In particular, we propose a future-oriented, age-friendly well-being support system that breaks away from the existing welfare concept to solve the aging problem but leads to a paradigm shift toward building a vibrant aging society by protecting from emergency and satisfying emotions. By introducing IoT and AI, it judges the life situation and emotional state from the living information of the elderly can respond to emergencies and suggest meetings as a change of mood and give an emotional comfort. Since the proposed system uses artificial intelligence techniques to determine the degree of depression when inputting information such as pulse-rate, dangerous word usage, and external communication, I think it showed the feasibility of the new concept of wellbeing support system that is totally different from conventional wellbeing concept of health-care.

Analyzes the Changes in the Curricula of Computer and Software-Related Majors in Line with the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Comparing the Periods Before and After the COVID-19 Pandemic in KOREA. (코로나19 펜데믹 전후 컴퓨터 및 소프트웨어 관련 전공의 제4차 산업혁명중심 교과과정 변화 분석)

  • This paper analyzed the changes in the curriculum of computer and software-related majors that educate the core ICT technologies needed for the 4th Industrial Revolution, before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the standard classification of university education units, 172 majors classified into Applied Software Engineering, Computer Science·Computer Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence Engineering were targeted, and the curricula of 2023 and 2019 were compared and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the introduction of the related curriculum for each curriculum group increased by about 2.6%p before and after the COVID-19 pandemic (2023 84.2%, 2019 81.6%). and the 4th Industrial Revolution response index increased by 9.5 points (37.0 in 2023, 27.5 in 2019)

  • Since the start of the 4th industrial revolution, technologies have been developed in the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), and 5G. Compared to other technologies IoT is currently being commercialized more than other technologies where the numbers of connected things are increases every year. The IoT has a huge advantage to provide convenience and lots of information to users, but security cannot keep up with the speed of development. IoT services continue to provide services for related devices, but at present, more and more types of new services are being combined with other technologies by utilizing the services of devices. This paper reviews and analyzes research on security issues and services related to the Internet of Things to explore how security trends and service delivery will develop in the future.
