오늘날 웹은 급속도로 확산되어 교육에 있어서 필수적인 존재로 강력한 힘을 발휘하게 되었다. 사이버 교육 환경의 시대를 맞이하여 웹을 이용한 학습 활동의 비중은 점점 더 증가되었지만 대다수의 웹기반 교수 (Web-based Instruction : WBI)학습 사이트들이 비장애인 중심의 사용자 인터페이스로 설계됨에 따라 청각 장애인을 학습 공간에서 격리 시키고 학습 능력을 저하시키는 이중 장애를 발생시키고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 최근 청각 장애인의 교육방법으로 대두되고 있는 이중언어-이중문화 접근법 (Bilingual Method : 2Bi 이론)을 활용하여 청각 장애인의 WBI 학습 능력을 신장시킬 수 있는 사용자 인터페이스를 설계하였다. 본 사용자 인터페이스의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청각 장애인의 웹접근성을 고려한 인터페이스를 설계하여 청각 장애 학습자가 보다 쉽게 학습 공간에 접근하게 하였다. 둘째, 청각 장애인의 장애 정도 및 학습 성취 정도에 따라 3단계 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하여 수준별 학습이 가능하다. 셋째, 순차적 반복 학습이 가능하여 청각 장애인의 학습 능력뿐 아니라 의사소통 기능 향상에도 긍정적인 영향을 제공한다.

Our society is moving from a monocultural society of a homogeneous nation to a multi-cultural society as a lot of foreigners are flowing into the country with the advent of globalization and with an effort to secure labor force for economic growth. So, multi-cultural families composed of members using different languages spring up everywhere, but the children in these multi-cultural families have difficulties in acquiring Korean language and are socially maladjusted because of the bilingual environment. The goal of this study is to help enhance the language capabilities and socialities of the children in the multi-cultural families through fine arts using artistic methods. The study method was to analyze the high-quality effects of the fine arts with the theoretical research materials and theses showing the real conditions of the multi-cultural families. And I proposed some ways to improve the linguistic abilities and socialities of the children in the multi-cultural families with the utilization of fine arts. As a result, Firstly, An active use of the bilingual instructors and artistic multimedia is educationally necessary to overcome language restrictions. Secondly, Various ways to utilize fine arts are necessary to improve learning abilities of other subjects. Thirdly, Artistic plays and experiential activities need to be largely applied to education to enhance the abilities of emotional control and socialities. Finally, Integrated culture and art education is essential not only for creativities and socialities but also for personalities for community life.

The use of digital copies of film-based analog images and the introduction of digital radiographic imaging systems using image plates gradually replace the non-destructive radiationirradiation method of Cultural Heritage. The quality of images obtained from this technique is affected by conditions such as tube voltage, tube current, and exposure time, type of image acquisition medium, distance of the artifacts from the image acquisition medium, and thickness of artifacts. In this study, we evaluated the grayscale image obtained using GE's Computed Radiograhpy (CR) imaging system, the transmission characteristics of the X-ray source for each tree type (pine, chestnut, sawtooth oak, ginkgo) used in wooden Cultural Heritage, and the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and contrast. The GE's CR imaging were analyzed using the Duplex wire image quality indicator, line-pair gauges.

출판유통진흥원(원장 김종수)은 지난 10월 29일 서울 프레스센터 19층 목련실에서 '출판물류 RFID적용 동향 연구 세미나'를 개최했다. 이번 세미나는 출판유통진흥원 최성구 팀장의 '출판물류 및 공공도서관 RFID 도입현황', 한국출판협동조합 황순록 차장의 '조합 RFID 입출고 컨베이어시스템 적용사례', 북센 이중호 부장의 'Smart bookstore적용사례', 성공회대 유통정보학과 장승권 교수의 '국내외 RFID동향 및 적용 사례 분석발표' 등의 순으로 진행되었다. 출판유통진흥원의 김종수 원장은 인사말을 통해 "문화체육관광부의 지원으로 추진해 오고 있는 출판물류의 RFID적용 시범사업의 현황 및 시범적용 사례를 되짚어 봄으로서 앞으로의 발전 방안을 심도있게 논의하는 자리가 되기 바란다"고 말했다. 이날 발표 가운데 출판유통진흥원 최성구 팀장과 북센 이중호 부장의 'Smart bookstore적용사례'의 주요 내용을 소개한다.

세기의 끝무렵에 서서 다가오는 2000년대에 대한 불안과 희망을 바라본다. 정보혁명의 거침 없는 물결이 출판에도 새로운 변화를 몰고 오리라는 예감은 우리의 출판현실을 돌아보게 한다. "출판저널"은 창간 10주년을 맞아 '지상포럼'을 연다. "정보혁명시대, 새로운 출판 운동의 모색"이라는 주제 아래 과도기적인 출판상황의 첨예한 쟁점들을 논의해보고자 한다. 정보혁명의 소용돌이 속에서 야기되는 –출판의 쟁점들(이중한) –책의 존재론적 의미(김영민) –출판미학(정병규) –새로운 출판운동(김영범)의 문제들을 함께 생각해보는 자리에 독자들을 초대한다.
