This study aims to draw a correlation in the choice of automobiles as the preferred mode of personal transport in relation to three factors: 5Ds, urban form and individual-level characteristics. The analysis result shows that the control at the individual level is required to analyze effective urban character and urban form elements to decrease the car choice and the 5Ds demonstrate meaningful relation to decreasing the car choice. However, it may be concluded that the density and the diversity, well-known elements in decreasing the car choice among Western cities do not show relatively large impact on Korean cities.

In this thesis, we propose a new 3D shape descriptor. The proposed descriptor measures geometric characteristics by using the shortest path on surfaces. The descriptor is robust against a change of local posture. We measure the geometric characteristics of 3D object through a new shape function to construct the shape distribution. The proposed shape function is the shortest path shape function. The shape function measures the distance between two points on the surface of a 3D object. We evaluate the performance of the proposed method, compared with the previous method. The precision of retrievals improved by 23% in the case of articulated objects and is improved by 12% in the case of general objects.

This study examined the factors affecting forms of long-term care service use by elderly and the forms of use are classified facility care service, home care service, and unused. It is used data from the 2nd pilot program for the Long Term Care Insurance scheme and it is analysed 5,497 cases. Multi-nominal regression is used. According to the results, women use formal service more than man do, and wowen use facility care than home care. Those who eligible for National Basic Livelihood Security System(NBLSS) are shown to have higher use of formal care(especially facility care) than the middle income class, and the low income class than the middle income class has lower use of formal care. In addition, higher the family care is available, lower the taking part in the service. The big cities and mid sized cities than rural are used the formal service and moreover mid sized cities are used facility care than home care. Furthermore, the level of care need is determinants of service use and function of ADL, IADL, and abnormal behavior is also determinants of formal service(especially facility care). But nursing need and rehabilitation need are not determinants of formal service use. Based on the results, the recommendations are developed and implemented for the improvement the elderly long-term care insurance.

사다리형 디지털필터는 일반적으로 IIR 필터의 직접형, 병렬형 또는 종속형과 비교하여 주파수응답 감도가 뛰어나기 때문에 최근 많이 이용되고 있다. 사다리형 디지털필터는 모델의 형식에 따라 연분수 전개가 다르고 주어지는 전달함수에 따라 실현 가능한 형식과 불가능한 형식이 있다. 본 논문에서는 연분수 형태의 제 III 사다리형 디지털필터를 모델로 하여 방형성 결합기와 광섬유를 이용한 사다리형 광섬유필터의 실현조건과 설계방법을 논하였다.

인터넷상의 대부분 이미지 검색엔진들은 이미지의 실제 내용보다는 이미지 파일명이나 부가적인 색인과 같은 문자 정보에 의존하여 이미지 검색을 하고 있다. 한편 이미지의 색상 정보를 비교에 사용하는 RGB 히스토그램 방법은 수행시간은 짧지만 형태는 고려하지 않기 때문에 높은 정확도는 기대하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 이미지의 실제 내용을 비교하여 비정형의 복잡한 물체를 검색하는 새로운 이미지 검색 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 이미지의 색상과 형태 정보를 담은 타일 서열을 local alignment 알고리즘으로 정렬하여 이미지 검색을 한다 비정형 물체인 음식 사진을 사용한 실험에서 기존의 방법 RGB 히스토그램을 이용한 방법보다 월등히 향상된 정확도를 나타내었다.

정보 검색 시스템은 사용자의 질의어를 용어들과 용어들 사이의 관계 집합으로 구성된 일종의 용어사전인 시소러스를 이용하여 문헌에 대한 색인과 검색을 정확하고 통제된 용어 형태로 바꾸어 색인과 검색 작업의 효율을 높인다. 클라이언트/서버 환경에서 시소러스를 이용하여 정보 검색 속도의 증가를 기대할 수 있다. 분산된 시소러스는 프로파일 정보를 가지고 운영되며 전문적 시소러스로 만들어진다. 본 논문에서 제안한 시소러스 작업 모형을 시뮬레이션 한 결과를 비교, 분석하고 클라이언트/서버 환경에서 효율적인 시소러스의 여할 및 작업 형태에 대해 제안한다.

오늘날 유한요소해석 결과를 컴퓨터 그래픽을 활용하여 일목요연하게 후처리 함은 일반화 되어 있다. 그래픽을 이용하면 해석된 많은 수치 출력대신에 이해하기 쉬운 도면의 형태로 해석결과를 분석하거나, 모델의 기하학적 형태를 검토할 수 있게 되므로 시간과 노력을 대폭 절감할 수 있다. 그러나, 최근까지 유한소요 후처리는 대형컴퓨터와 이에 종속되는 고가의 도화처리 장비에 의존하여 왔다. 유한요소법을 이용한 해석시 발생하는 많은 수치출력을 고가의 도화장비가 아닌 저가의 도화장비에 출력하고자 하는 노력의 결과로 PC용 그래픽후처리 프로그램인 MICRO-POST가 개발되었다.

현재 각종 미사일의 추진기관용 연소관을 제작하는데 광범위하게 이용되고 있는 유동성 형공정에 대하여 강소성 구성방정식을 이용 유한요소해석을 수행하였다. 종전의 단일 롤러에 의한 해석과는 달리 3개의 롤러에 의한 연소관의 점진 소성변형을 고려하였으며. 이에 따른 각 룰러의 연소관에 대한 소성변형, 응력분포가 관찰, 분석되었다. 해석 결과 예비성형체의 두께에 따라 소성변형 형태와 그에 따르는 응력분포에 많은 차이가 나는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또 이상적인 유동성형 공정조건하에서 반경 방향으로의 연소관의 유효 소성변형도는 거의 균일하게 나타났다.

하나의 구동기를 작동하여 거울을 변형시킬 때, 변형된 거울면의 형태를 영향 함수(influence function)라고 정의하며, 이러한 영향 함수를 이용하여 적응 광학계의 주요한 광학 요소인 변형 거울을 효과적으로 모형화하고 설계할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 유한요소해석을 이용하여 계산된 변형 거울의 실제 영향 함수를 가우시안 함수(Gaussian function) 형태로 단순화하고, 추가로 구동기들 사이의 영향을 고려한 커플링 계수(coupling coefficient)를 도입하여, 주어진 구동기 배열에 대한 영향 함수를 결정하였다. 본 논문에서는 지수함수적 감쇄신호의 매개변수를 효율적으로 추정하기 위한 신호 모델링 기법을 제안한다. 이 방법은 맥놀이 주파수 성분을 갖으면서 과도기 형태 신호인 성 덕대왕 신종의 음파(공중음파 및 지중음파)를 분석하기 위하여 개발되었으며 선형예측모델 을 기본으로 하고 있다. 제안된 방법은 일반적인 데이터 행렬 대신에 자기상관 유사행렬을 사용하였으며 SVD 방법을 이용하여 매개변수를 추정한다. 성덕대왕 신종의 스펙트럼 및 감 쇄계수 특성을 분석하기 위하여 제안된 방법을 수집한 데이터에 적용하였고 분석결과를 토 대로하여 고유주파수 신호의 감쇄계수 및 움통의 역할도 규명하였다.
