Development of an Anaesthesia Ventilator by Volume Control Method and a Gas Monitoring System (가스 모니터 및 볼륨 제어 방식의 마취기용 인공 호흡기 개발)

  • Generally an operator would take notice at putting a patient under anesthesia. If the operation is executed in mistake, the patient is exposed to danger. The object of this Paper is that a system is developed for an accuracy of system and a convenience of user interface to prevent an operation of several elements of risk by mistake. The part of electrical system particularly is made for convenience of a manipulation using electrical switch and encoder. A real-time monitoring system is developed for an airway pressure and a gas concentration of carbon dioxide of patient using graphic LCD(liquid crystal display). Moreover, this flow control system could be developed control with accuracy by feedback control method. This is implemented using flow control valve and flow sensor. The implemented system gives convenience and precision of a manipulation of variable value using developed technique. This system shows guaranteed stabilization and confidence of anesthesia ventilator by notifying us that patient's state and information in case of being out of alarm range of variable value.

Production of spherical granule type yogurt with improving convenience and preservation (편리성 및 저장성이 증진된 구형과립 요구르트 제조)

  • Yogurt contains many microorganisms that are beneficial to human health, and is a probiotic that supplies many nutrients such as calcium and protein. It is difficult to safety preserve for a long time because it possesses a high content of water. To address this problem, powdered "instant" yogurt has been developed, but it has flaws low flowability and solubility. Therefore, yogurt was granulated using a fluidized bed granulator to increase flowability and solubility. The fluidized bed granulator was designed by using response surface methodology (RSM), whose variables were feeding rate (FR), atomization air pressure (AP) and product temperature (PT). After being granulated, the yogurt was analyzed for yield and lactic acid bacteria count. The maximum yield of yogurt granules was 79.42%, at FR of 0.54 mL/min, AP of 2.64 kPa, and PT of $58.18^{\circ}C$, and the colony count for lactic acid bacteria was more than $6log^{10}\;CFU/g$. Therefore, spherical granulation of yogurt using a fluidized bed granulator could be used for making convenient probiotic products with improved flowability and solubility.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the important factor of internet travel product purchase according to the characteristics of SNS tourism information. The characteristics of SNS tourism information perceived by travel product consumers are investigated as four major dimensions; reliability, interest, interaction, and usefulness. 17 items of online travel product purchase are adopted and produced four factors namely; safety, price & cost, customer service and convenience. We confirm that consumer have high importance on reliability consider convenience as most important factor of online travel product purchase. Interest of SNS tourism information have significant relation with price & cost, and Usefulness and Interaction of SNS tourism information have significant relation with customer service of online travel product purchase.

  • In this paper, we present a workflow system which manages efficiently operations in workflow form. The workflow of this system is made up of concepts of meta-services for increasing reusability. Thus users can execute the workflow by calling their services. Also, GUI workflow editor is developed with the workflow system which provides users with convenience. Furthermore the workflow model is divided into 3-layers such as service, flow, and task layer for reusability and scalability of workflow. Therefore, this middleware can use grid resources effectively and offer convenience to users.

  • In this paper, we present a switched beamforming RFID reader and propose a convenient shopping system using it. The smart gate with the switched beamforming RFID reader(s) improves tag detection probability, tag false alarm probability, automatic detection functionality of shopping system compared to existing RFID based systems. The proposed system consists of a smart gate to read and verify the tags within cart, a check-out counter to approve customer purchase, and a central server to manage inventory & delivery and to analyze customer purchase trend. The proposed shopping system is more practical, convenient, and cost-effective to A/S than existing RFID shopping systems.

  • It's being a trend that contemporary buildings are getting higher. And in line with this, we suggest the smart elevator operation management mobile application which is designed using clustering techniques to improve user's elevator access control and convenience. This clustering technique using the elevator's calling data make it possible to find its best position, and know the state of it using a smart phone as well. With this, not only the users' waiting time can be decreased, but also their convenience can be improved with the remote control system that got efficient a lot.

  • Since October 11th, 2007, water taxi service in Han River has been operated for commuting and sightseeing. However, it is less popularized than expected because of economical problem and accessibility. Therefore, this paper develops service estimation items for water taxi based upon literature review on public transportation. It also conducts survey questionnaire and IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) Analysis to analyze service characteristics of water taxi users and provide several implications. The results are follows: First, economical problem should be solved out as showed in the 'main improvement' item. Second, accessibility, informativeness and convenience in the 'required improvement' item, and security and punctuality in the 'keep up the good work' item are presented. Third, kindness and soundness are showed in the 'the maintenance of current situation' item. All in all, if municipal considers economical problem, accessibility, informativeness, and convenience as it improves water tax service, it will make it possible to attract more water taxi users.

  • WLAN은 다양한 정보와 자원을 공유할 수 있게 하는 LAN의 장점과, 제약 없는 연결성 제공이라는 편리성을 동시에 제공하고, 신뢰성 있는 data전송뿐만 아니라 유연성과 설치의 용이성을 장점으로 갖고 있다. 그러나 WLAN 이용하여 여러 어플리케이션을 사용할 때 제기되는 문제로 WLAN은 셀룰라 폰의 soft handover와 같은 mobility가 완전하게 지원되지 않으므로 WLAN 환경에서 VoIP 서비스 같은 실시간 서비스에 제약이 있다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 WLAN의 제약을 극복하기 위해 WLAN환경에서 이동단말의 이동성을 지원하기 위한 handover 방안을 제시하였다.

  • Almost domestic cycleways have been established without characteristic of land uses. These cycleways can always not provide optimal condition for safety and convenience not to speak of efficiency. This research having a purpose to accomplish more safety and convenience has tried to classify cycleways detail and to analyze cycleways types by land uses. It verified the difference among the characteristic of traffic on the land uses using the Chi-square test, and found the land use that had the strongest characteristic. Finally, it has proposed the suitable cycleway types to land uses.

  • 학기가 시작되면 많은 대학생들이 새로운 강의를 듣기 위해 교재를 구매한다. 그 과정에서 대부분의 학생은 통상 학교 내에 설치된 구내서점을 이용하게 되나, 학교 내 서점의 특성상 오프라인으로 판매가 진행되며 구비된 도서의 세부적인 정보를 사전에 얻을 수 없다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 O2O 서비스를 활용하여 교내서점을 온라인과 연계하여 활용할 수 있도록 설계하였고 추가적으로 중고서적을 등록 판매 가능하도록 하였다. 사용자의 편리성이 중요시된 현대사회에서 온라인 기술의 정확성, 편리성 등을 적용하여 오프라인에서의 효율 증대를 꾀하고자 한다.
