A Study on Factors of Reuse of Edutainment Contents - In the Context on Educational of Games - (에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠 재이용 요인에 관한 연구 - 교육용 게임을 중심으로 -)

  • The game for education should newly be newly recognized in the view of user and development to bring out the particularity of game for education combined with educational factors and interest is needed. This study is conducted to concretely look at the effects of factors to reuse edutainment contents and educational games on reusing of the service, and examine characteristic difference between the factors and the degree of importance and weight. In addition, by structurally analyzing the factors the influence of reuse factors of game for education can be observed to propose methods to activated industry of game for education. The purpose of this research is to propose marketable method to increase the rate of reuse and to sustain consistent use of game for education.

  • As the broadband network are being deployed recently, the IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) has appeared and become a most representative service that incorporates audio, video, etc. In spite of the long-period efforts, however, no standardized method exists to measure and evaluate the quality of video that is experienced through TV in the customer's premises. Therefore, before developing a method to measure and evaluate the quality of experience (QoE) for video that is the ultimate goal, this paper reviews the outcomes from the past standardization activities and drive a few important implications that would be reflected to the method to measure and evaluate QoE for video.

보험산업(保險産業)의 가격자유화(價格自由化)에 관한 연구(硏究)

  • 본고(本稿)는 피보험자(被保險者)의 위험정도(危險程度)에 관하여 정보의 불균형이 존재하고 있는 보험시장에서 전체(全體) 시장참여자(市場參與者)의 효용(效用)과 기대이익(期待利益)을 증대시키기 위하여 어떠한 가격정책을 수립하여야 하는지를 분석(分析)하고, 이 분석을 토대로 현재 정부가 추진중인 가격자유화 추진계획방향을 평가하고 개선방향(改善方向)을 제시하고자 하였다. 본고(本稿)의 분석결과(分析結果)에 따르면 정보(情報)의 불균형하(不均衡下)에서 자유화 초기단계의 제한적인 가격자유화는 전체 보험이용자의 효용을 증대시키는 효과를 가져오나 자유화의 폭이 커질수록 사회전체적인 효용증대효과는 불명확해진다. 이 경우 일정범위에 대해서는 요율(料率)과 보장범위(保障範圍)를 위험에 따라 차별화하지 않는 단일(單一) 공동요율(共同料率)을 제시하는 계약(契約)을 주계약(主契約)으로 구매하게 하고, 보충계약(補充契約)인 특약부분(特約部分)에서 각 이용자가 위험정도에 따라 차별화된 가격으로 적절한 보장범위를 선택하게 하도록 정부가 유도하는 것이 바람직하다. 주계약과 보충계약으로 구성된 이러한 보조계약(補助契約)은 기존의 단일(單一) 공동요율(共同料率)에 의한 계약보다 파레토개념에서 우월한 계약으로 시장전체에 순효용증대(純效用增大)의 효과(效果)를 가져올 것이다. 또한 고지의무(告知義務)의 강화(强化), 위험분류(危險分類) 및 선택(選擇) 업무(業務)의 효율화(效率化) 등으로 보험시장내에서 정보의 불균형현상이 해소되고 나면 실질적(實質的)인 가격(價格)의 완전자유화(完全自由化)를 실시하여 파레토최적(最適)을 이루어야 할 것이다. 따라서 정부는 보험시장(保險市場)의 특성(特性)을 고려하여 주어진 조건에서 전체 시장참여자의 효용과 기대이익을 극대화하는 가격정책(價格政策)을 펴야 하며, 현재 추진중인 보험상품(保險商品) 가격자유화계획(價格自由化計劃)도 이런 관점에서 재조명되어야 할 것이다.

A Study on Service Quality Measurement of Digital Libraries with DL-SQI Model (DL-SQI 모형을 이용한 디지털도서관의 서비스 품질측정에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop service quality measurement model(DL-SQI model) which are able to measure objectively service quality of digital libraries in Korea and to measure user perceived service quality performance with DL-SQI model. This study also investigates the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Before measurement, two principal rules and indicator formula were made to measure the service quality. Finally service quality of three digital libraries selected as samples was measured and analyzed in various points of view. It was developed a DL-SQI Consequences Model and testified it through path analysis using structural equation model.

  • The customer satisfaction. which is close with the loyalty, rate of disconnection and re-purchase and the new customer creation is important in point of the enterprise performance measurement system. There have been a number of studies that applied different models in other to assess the customer satisfaction of public and non-public area. But the general evaluation models which are existing can't consider the discrimination characteristic of different types of products or services. And these models didn't reflect the quality of the Internet environment of the public library service which appears newly. This study delved into literature of library service and customer satisfaction evaluation and suggest the classification system of public library service and the evaluation model of customer satisfaction for public library.

Quality Evaluation of Academic Library Automation Systems (대학도서관 자동화시스템의 품질평가)

  • This study intends to identify the current situations, and, to investigate the major problems of academic library automation in South Korea. Emphasis was on the quality evaluation of the present library automation systems from the perspectives of both librarians and end-users. Three most representative automation systems were chosen for a comparative analysis: Seoul National University's SOLARS, Postech's LINNET, and Pusan National University's PULIP. Each automation system was analyzed and compared [no another in terms of the development history, the system functions, and, the strength and weakness. The final suggestion includes the philosophy and strategies for the future development of academic library automation systems.

  • Reference services that use e-mail to receive reference questions and provide responses were developed as early digital reference services in the library field. However, librarians and users found that e-mail based reference services had some weak points when compared with traditional face-to-face reference services. As a result, libraries have started to create real-time reference services, which are similar to traditional face-to-face reference services through the use of synchronous chat software. Such chat reference services are focus of this paper. This paper approaches chat reference services as one of the services provided by libraries. Based on the understandings of the unique characteristics of services and the concept of "service quality", this paper tries to suggest appropriate marketing strategies of chat reference services.

  • This study explored feasibility of social cooperatives as a strategy of struggle to social exclusion in the social services area based on the relationships between people. Is social cooperatives on the Fundamental Act on Cooperatives a new type of social welfare service providers comparing the social welfare foundations and social enterprises? Would be expected as social inclusion processes effects arising from the properties of cooperative in social welfare sector? If social welfare institutions function as an intermediate medium between government and users, social cooperatives can be performed function in the community in a variety of cooperative relationships with Multiple stakeholders, e.g. various service providers, care-givers, social workers, and users, etc., conflicting the interests. In this perspective, looked the possibility of social cooperatives as community welfare practice model.

  • This paper deals with the questions: Are media user's activities labour? Or rent? These questions have provoked a debate in the critical media studies and Marx's theory. But it is not a matter of choosing either labour or rent. Even if user's activities could contribute to valorization, it needs some mediating process. Media Platforms-Google, Facebook, etc.-play a key role, and have to employ other forms of labour. Labour in media platform produces some capital commodities. In view of media platform, Smythe's audience commodity can be considered as capital commodity. Assertion in this paper expected to provoke new debate on media platforms and its labourer.

  • This study investigated what motivated Gabriel Naud$\acute{e}$(1600-1653) to become associated with the library and how he performed his librarianship. He formulated his ideas into a theory, and put the ideas into practice through three libraries. Particularly, he established the goals of the library, and provided services in keeping with the goals. Such activities are closely related to the post of a modern librarian. In addition, it was found that his ideas bear similarities to Ranganathan's Five Laws of Library Science. Therefore, this article carried out the study from a universal perspective from which Naud$\acute{e}$ had opened the library and provided user-centered services.
