The Effects of Information Literacy of Social Service Users' on Service Quality and Satisfaction: Based on Elderly Home Care Services (사회서비스 이용자 정보가용성이 서비스 품질 및 만족에 미치는 영향: 재가노인복지서비스를 대상으로)

  • The purposes of this study are to find the difference in information literacy among the elderly home care service users and to identify the impact of information literacy on service quality and satisfaction among service users. To achieve the goals, this study used 466 responses from the elderly home care service recipients in Jeollabukdo providence, and conducted t-tests, ANOVA and a series of regression analyses. The results showed that there were significant differences in information literacy by gender, household type, residence area, education level and subjective health status among service users. The study also found that service users information literacy had a significant impact on service quality and satisfaction, and it confirms the importance of customized service. This study suggests that information literacy inequality exists among the elderly home care service users, therefore, the way to improve information delivery strategy should be developed for the information-poor elderly.

  • 대규모 프로젝트나 상호 이질적인 여러 시스템을 보유하고 있는 기관에서는 보통 시스템을 여러개로 나누어 운영하고 있다. 이러한 경우 운영의 효율성을 위해 시스템 통합에 대한 요구가 증가하게 된다. 시스템을 하나로 통합하다 보면 효율적인 운영이 가능하며, 단일화된 서비스를 통해 이용자는 여러 서비스를 한 곳에서 활용할 수 있는 편의성을 제공할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 통합서비스 구축을 통해 이용자가 여러 서비스를 효율적으로 활용할 수 있는 접근점 중의 하나인 분류체계 구축 방법을 소개하고 실제 구현 사례를 제시한다. 통합서비스 요구분석을 통해 서비스에 필요한 분류체계들을 도출하고 다양한 서비스들을 여러 분류체계에 맞춰 구분함으로써 이용자는 원하는 서비스를 효율적으로 접근할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 이에 통합서비스에서의 분류체계는 중요한 서비스 요소 중의 하나이다. 본 연구결과는 대규모 통합서비스 구축시 필요한 분류체계 구축 절차에 활용될 수 있다.

A Study on the analyzed information service for knowledge management in a company (지업체 지식경영을 위한 분석정보 서비스에 관한 연구)

  • In ths study, I proposed the need for strengthening the information analysis function of research library whch is in charge of knowledge control in a company based on knowledge management. In the operating steps of information management for a company, 1 studed about providmg analyzed dormation at the level of a professional in various forms through intranet within a company after processing and analyzing the collected raw lnformation to make customized lnformation according to the need of each group, rather than passively providing information as required by users. By establishmg the senior decision-making person within the company as the core user in contrast with information s e ~ c e spr ovided in large libraries, ths will give us a new position as lnformation manager, who can accomplish tlie corporate goal. Also, I proposed the details for becoming a pioneer in knowledge management system.

How Do Library Visitors Use Spaces in a Public Library? (공공도서관 이용자는 공간을 어떻게 이용하는가?)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze how library visitors use spaces in the library and to make suggestions for improving library use environments. Library use patterns were analyzed by tracking the users' smartphone WiFi. A library located in Seoul, Korea was selected and detectors were installed in the library. The suggestions from the results analyzing data collected between September, 2016 and December, 2016 were as followed. 27.17% of library visitors used a space in the library. Among them, 28.69% used the lobby to return their checked-out materials. Therefore, the library is recommended to install a device in the area in which users are easy to return their items. Additionally, since the spatial relationship between cultural program room and book shelves was low, those programs might be improved by providing library materials related with them.

  • The purpose of this study is to review the characteristics of a web-based question-answer service and to analyze the information needs and use behavior of the service for a more efficient question-answer service plan. On the basis of the findings, this study makes suggestions for the question-answer service in respect of reinforcing the effectiveness of information itself and the efficiency of question-answer services. The speciality. accuracy. and specificity including the variety of themes should be improved for more effective information. Also. interactivity. readiness. and convenience should be improved for a more efficient service.

  • Record Information Services is an aggressive action of connecting documentaries focusing on the information needs of user. However, recent studies on the parliament's written information service recognize the necessity that it should segment the user's information requests, and provide personalized service, but have not discussed for specific cases or measures. While the importance of Web services written with the proliferation of information and popularization of the Web is emerging right to know but, it is not being performed properly by lack of sufficient manpower and budget along with lack of recognition in hands-on sites upon the user analysis. So, while increasing the efficiency of the hands-on workers of Record Information Services, the introduction of analytical tools that can be utilized in low budget agencies is needed. Web analytics is to analyze the behavior by analyzing Web logs which web users have left you visit the site. To estimate the behavior they want to request information of the analyzed Web user aims to provide a Web service, the Web service further continued improvement. There are several types that include among them Google Analytics offering a variety of analysis items for free and all over the world, many people are already using. This study introduces a Google Analytics web analytics focused and proposes a service improvement plan with specific web user segmentation analyzes the cases of Korea Democracy Foundation of Open Archives introduces them to the actual institutions.

Enhancing the Performance of Blog Retrieval by User Tagging and Social Network Analysis (사용자 태그와 중심성 지수를 이용한 블로그 검색 성능 향상에 관한 연구)

  • Blogs are now one of the major information resources on the web. The purpose of this study is to enhance the performance of blog retrieval by means of user assigned tags and trackback information. To this end, retrieval experiments were performed with a dataset of 4,908 blog pages together with their associated trackback URLs. In the experiments, text terms, user tags, and network centrality values based on trackbacks were variously combined as retrieval features. The experimental results showed that employing user tags and network centrality values as retrieval features in addition to text words could improve the performance of blog retrieval.

  • As the social environment changes, the public library's services for older persons need to be improved from a new perspective. Therefore, this study analyzed the relationships among user satisfaction of major services, overall service satisfaction, service quality components (i.e., service affection, information control, and library as place), and re-use intention according to demographic characteristics by evaluating the public library's services for older persons with applying LibQUAL+ and surveying the user satisfaction. This study proposed to provide appropriate information and service according to the changes of the elderly user environment, develop the library collection according to the diversified information needs by older users, and allocate personnel who could offer a service to older people.

  • This study will explore the possibility of applying process innovation as a public library for business innovation. In order to do this, the study defines the concept of process innovation through the literature review. According to survey and focus group interviews with librarians working for public libraries, this study will organize work done at libraries into the following categories: acquisition, resource management, user management, user services, programs, volunteer management, marketing, library computerization system, facility management, general affairs and statistical management. In addition, through face-to-face surveys with librarians working for public libraries it is confirmed that there are issues within acquisition, user management, and applied process innovation. In response to these issues a new process has been developed. Using this new approach, book contract procedure and requests for book related work could be improved and optimized. In the user management section, the study analyzes the requirements and subscription procedures for members through a website survey of 30 public libraries in the United States and then provides an improved system through process analysis of the membership process of Korean public libraries. It is expected that the new system will contribute to improvements in user satisfaction as well as improvements in library workflow.

  • U-Healthcare 서비스는 서비스 이용자가 서비스의 인지없이 이용자의 생체정보와 위치, 주변의 온도와 습도 정보를 수집하고 이를 분석, 가공하여 이용자에게 여러 서비스를 제공하는 것으로 이의 구현을 위해서는 무선 센서 네트워크가 필요하다. 이러한 무선 센서 네트워크에 요구되는 것은 이동성이 있는 모바일 센서 노드의 네트워크 자기 구성과 라우팅에 관한 효율적인 알고리즘이다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 실내에 존재하는 여러 이동성이 없는 고정 센서 노드를 기반으로 네트워크 내에 셀을 구성하여, 이 셀을 통해 인접한 이동 모바일 센서 노드의 데이터 전송을 지원하는 계층적 무선 센서네트워크 자기 구성 알고리즘을 제안하였다
