장거리 구동용 FTS 의 최적 제어에 관한 연구 (A study on the optimal control of Long Stroke Fast Tool Servo Systems)

  • With a rapid development in the area of micro and ultra precision technology, the micro surface machining of small size parts are explosively increased. Especially, to improve efficiency of various beams in lens and reflector, non-rotational symmetric form and several mm level heights changeable surface can be machined at a time. These geometric complex 3D surface cannot be machined by general short stroke FTS. The long stroke FTS if firmly needed to move directly several mm and have nm level positioning accuracy for the complex surface form. The long stroke FTS used linear motors to drive moving unit long and fine, aero static bearings to decrease friction and moving errors in guide way, optical linear scale with nm level resolution to measure position of FTS. Furthermore, to increase the performance of acceleration of FTS, the light material, such as AL is used for the structure and the high stiffness box type structure is selected. In this paper, the genetic algorithm approach is described to determine a set of design parameters for auto tuning. The authors have attempted to model the design problem with the objective of minimizing the error, such as variable pattern change. This method can give the better alternative than existing other method.

고하중 이송 멀티 체인 호이스트 서버 시스템 개발 (Development of Multi-Axes Chain Hoist Servo Systems for Lifting Heavy Loads)

  • 공연장의 거대한 무대 세트나 장치에 움직임이 부여되면, 다양한 극적 효과를 연출할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 프로그래밍 가능한 다축 체인 호이스트 서버 시스템은 이러한 연출의 자동화를 가능하게 한다. 본 시스템에는 PTP 기반의 임의 궤적 생성 방법, 다축 실시간 통신 제어 방법, 그리고 4 단계의 순차적인 안전 진단 알고리즘이 적용 되었으며, 호이스트들은 콘솔의 동기 제어에 의하여 시나리오의 연출 순서에 따라 자동적으로 움직인다. 12대 체인호이스트로 구성된 멀티 체인 호이스트 서버 시스템에 대한 1 ton 부하 및 대칭-비대칭 배치 부하에 대한 실험을 통해서 우수성을 검증하였다. 아울러 K-POP 공연에서 극적효과를 연출하는데 성공적으로 적용되었다.

  • High-speed/precision servomechanisms have been widely used in the manufacturing and semiconductor industries. In order to ensure the required high-speed and high-precision specifications in servomechanisms, an integrated design methodology is required, where the interactions between mechanical and electrical subsystems will have to be considered simultaneously. For the first step of the integrated design process, it is necessary to obtain not only strict mathematical models of separate subsystems but also formulation of an integrated design problem. A two-degree-of-freedom controller described in the discrete-time domain is considered as an electrical subsystem in this paper. An accurate identification process of the mechanical subsystem is conducted to verify the obtained mathematical model. Mechanical and electrical constraints render the integrated design problem accurate. Analysis of the system performance according to design and operating parameters is conducted for better understanding of the dynamic behavior and interactions of the servomechanism. Experiments are performed to verify the validity of the integrated design problem in the x-Y positioning system.

  • Design and application of hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) for design of CNC-controlled machine tool feed drives is discussed. The CNC machine tool is a complex mechatronics system where the complexity results from the software-based controller composed of a variety of functionalities and advanced control algorithms. Therefore, using a real CNC controller in the control simulation has merits considering the efforts and accuracy of the simulation modeling. In this paper challenges in HILS for a CNC controlled feed drive, such as minimization of time delay and transmission error that are caused by discretization of the feed drive model, is elaborated. Using an experimental HILS setup of a machine tool feed drive applications in controller gain selection and CNC diagnostics are presented.

하이브리드 타입 솔라셀 기판 이송용 로봇 진동 제어 (Vibration Control of the Hybrid Type Solar Cell Substrate Handling Robot)

  • Various types of large substrate handling robots are used in the thin file solar cell manufacturing line as well as LCD or PDP production line. Because the robot handles the heavy substrate at high speed, there are some issues such as vibration control and the optimal design of arms and forks. As the substrate becomes larger and heavier, robot systems are also larger and the vibration issue of the robot end-effector becomes more important. In the paper, we established the robot modeling and the control architecture including the flexible part such as forks. Then, we performed dynamic simulation in the various condition and analyzed the characteristics of the fork vibration. We can reduce the vibration using the trajectory planning and input shaping algorithm and it was proved by experiment.

온라인 방식의 공구경로 계획을 내장한 지능형 NURBS 곡면 보간 시스템 (Intelligent NURBS Surface Interpolation System with Embedded Online Tool-Path Planning)

  • The purpose of this study is to improve the machining of free-formed NURBS surfaces using newly defined G-codes which can directly deal with shapes defined from CAD/CAM programs on a surface basis and specialize in rough and finish cut. To this purpose, a NURBS surface interpolation system is proposed in this paper. The proposed interpolation system includes online tool-path planning, real-time interpolation and feedrate regulation considering an effective machining method and minimum machining time all suitable for unit NURBS surface machining. The corresponding algorithms are simultaneously executed in an online manner. The proposed NURBS surface interpolation system is integrated and implemented with a PC-based 3-axis CNC milling system. A graphic user interface (GUI) and a 3D tool-path viewer which interprets the G-codes for NURBS surfaces and displays whole tool-paths are also developed and included in our real-time control system. The proposed system is evaluated through actual machining in terms of size of NC data, machining time, regulation of feedrate and cutting force focused on finish cut in comparison with the existing method.

$H_{\infty}$ norm을 이용한 6 자유도 정밀스테이지의 모델기반 제어기 설계 (Design of a Model-based Controller for a 6-DOF Precision Positioning Stage using $H_{\infty}$ norm)

  • We developed a model-based controller for 6-DOF micropositioning of a precision stage using $H_{\infty}$ norm, For the design, a state-space system of the mathematical model of the stage is derived In developing the controller, weighting functions are effectively designed in consideration of upper bounds of the sensitivity of the control loop and control input. Step responses in open and closed loop control are provided to verify the micropositioning performance of the stage. By applying the developed controller we prove that the inverse of the weighting function forms the upper bound of the control loop. It is also found that the controller makes the same sensitivity shape with all the DOFs due to the use of $H_{\infty}$ norm. The developed controller is expected to be applied successfully for industrial use.

  • 고표면적 다공성 금속 박막 형성 기술은 타겟에서 방출된 금속 원자들이 타겟 주변에서 서로 충돌하여 나노입자를 형성한 후 기판으로 입자를 이송시켜 나노 구조를 지니는 박막을 성장시키는 기술이다. 고표면적 다공성 금속 박막 형성 기술로 제작한 다공성 박막은 열린 기공 구조를 지니고 있기 때문에 외부 기체의 확산이 용이하고 비표면적이 높다는 특징을 가지고 있다. 특히 금속 공기 이차전지 등의 배터리의 경우 전극의 비표면적이 성능을 결정하는 중요한 인자이므로 금속판을 사용하는 경우 대비 비표면적이 높은 나노구조를 사용할 경우 용량 증대에 유리하다. 본 연구에서는 공정 압력, 공정 파워, 타겟과 기판과의 거리, 칠러 온도 등 증착 공정 변수를 제어하여 표면적이 높은 아연 나노 구조를 형성하였다. 이를 분석하기 위해 SEM을 이용하여 미세구조 및 두께를 관찰하였으며, 박막 증착 전후의 무게를 측정하여 기공률을 계산하였다. 또한 XRD 분석을 통하여 결정성 및 결정의 크기를 확인하였다. 이렇게 제작된 고표면적 다공성 Zn 금속박막을 응용하여 아연 전지 성능 평가를 진행하였다.

롤투롤 시스템에서의 비 접촉 이송 시스템을 위한 수학적 장력 모델에 관한 연구 (A study on the Mathematical Tension Model for a Non-contact Transfer of a Moving Web in R2R e-Printing Systems)

  • In a post printing section of roll to roll printing systems, scratch problem is the major defects. The functional qualities such as conductivity, mobility could deteriorate because of the scratch defect. In general, the scratch of the printed pattern on the flexible substrate was induced from a contact between rolls and printed pattern in the post printing section. In this paper, for non-contacting transfer of a moving web, a mathematical tension model has been developed considering strain due to air floatation and the proposed mode has been validated by numerical simulation. Additionally, the correlation between floatation height and speed compensation to control the tension and register are investigated. On the basis of the proposed model, a guide line of speed control in R2R printing system is presented to guarantee the non-contact between rolls and R2R printed pattern on the flexible substrate.

뇌압 펄스에 의한 션트밸브의 압력-유량제어 특성의 변화 (Changes in The Pressure-Flow Control Characteristics of Shunt Valves by Intracranial Pressure Pulsation)

  • 수두증 환자를 치료하기 위해 머리에 시술 되는 션트밸브가 받는 뇌압 펄스가 밸브의 유량조절 특성에 미치는 영향을 수치적으로 해석하였다. 션트밸브를 통한 유량을 계산하기 위하여 밸브 다이아프램이 형성하는 유량 오리피스를 모델링 하여 맥동압력과 변동하는 압력에 의한 다이아프램의 움직임을 고려하였다. 연구 결과, 압력 펄스와 이에 따른 다이아프램의 움직임에 의하여 유량이 40% 이상 증가함을 보였다. 이 결과는, 뇌실에 시술 되는 션트밸브의 압력-유량 조절특성이 제조 직후 맥동이 없는 유량을 공급하는 시린지 펌프를 사용하여 구한 실험 결과와 상당히 다르다는 사실을 보여주었다.
