  • Fingerprinting scheme supports the copyright protection to track redistributors of digital content using cryptographic techniques. Fingerprinting schemes should guarantee buyer's anonymity and asymmetry for their privacy. Most of known fingerprinting schemes adopt public-key cryptosystems to achieve asymmetry and discrete logarithm problem or graph isomorphism problem to achieve anonymity. However, these schemes are not suited in mobile environment because of the drawbacks of requiring high computational complexity. In this paper, we propose an efficient fingerprinting scheme for mobile environment to provide not only asymmetry of the protocol but also transaction anonymity of the buyer. By employing symmetric encryption to encrypt the digital content and adopting agent to perform the protocols, the efficiency of the proposed scheme is improved.

  • This paper deals with smooth path generation using B-spline for fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles manuevering in 2D environment. Hexagonal cell representation is employed to model the 2D environment, which features increased connectivity among cells over square cell representation. Subsequently, hexagonal cell representation enables smoother path generation based on a discrete sequence of path from the path planner. In addition, we present an on-line path smoothing algorithm incorporating B-spline path templates. The path templates are computed off-line by taking into account all possible path sequences within finite horizon. During on-line implementation, the B-spline curves from the templates are stitched together repeatedly to come up with a reference trajectory for UAVs. This method is an effective way of generating smooth path with reduced on-line computation requirement, hence it can be implemented on a small low-cost autopilot that has limited computational resources.

  • In vocabulary recognition using HMM(Hidden Markov Model) by model for the observation of a discrete probability distribution indicates the advantages of low computational complexity, but relatively low recognition rate. Improve them with a HMM model is proposed for the optimization of the Bayesian methods. In this paper is posterior distribution and prior distribution in recognition Gaussian mixtures model provides a model to optimize of the Bayesian methods vocabulary recognition. The result of applying the proposed method, the recognition rate of 97.9% in vocabulary recognition, respectively.

  • The rapid growth of digital media and communication networks has created an urgent need for self-contained data identification methods to create adequate intellectual property right(IPR) protection technology. In this paper we propose a new watermarking method that could embed the gray-scale watermark logo in low frequency coefficients of discrete wavelet transform(DWT) domain as the marking space by using our Linear Bit-eXpansion(LBX) interleaving of gray-scale watermark, to use lots of watermark information without distortion of watermarked image quality and particularly to be robust against attack which could remove a part of image. Experimental results demonstrated the high robustness in particular against attacks such as image cropping and rotation which could remove a part of image.

  • Block cipher is one of the prominent and important elements in cryptographic systems and study on the minimal construction is a major theme in the cryptographic research. Even and Mansour motivated by the study suggested a kind of block cipher called the Even-Mansour scheme in the early 1990s. It is a very simple cipher with one permutation and two secret keys. There have been many studies on the Even-Mansour scheme and security analysis of the scheme. We explain the Even-Mansour scheme and simplify those attacks on the Even-Mansour scheme with mathematical language. Additionally, we show that Pollard's rho attack to the discrete logarithm problem can be used to attack the Even-Mansour scheme with the same complexity of the Pollard's rho attack.

  • For the purpose of improving the strength of Concrete, Silica Fume which has $SiO_2$ content of 90% and average particle diameter of $0.2{\mu}m$ was substituted to some extent as a cementious material of concrete. By means of using high range water reducing admixture and reducing water-cementions material ratio, the high strength mortar and concrete which have compressive strength of $865kg/cm^2$, $725kg/cm^2$, respectively were acquired. But the fact that the slump loss according to elapsed time was high and the tensile strength and elastic modulus were not improved sufficiently was the problem to be solved.

  • In this paper, we present a determination method of quantization skipping condition for H.264/AVC video encoding standard. In order to reduce the complexity of quantization process that is coming from Integer discrete cosine transform, a quantization skipping condition is derived by the analysis of integer transform and quantization processes. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has the capability to reduce the computational complexity of CPU operation time about 10-25(%)
