Analysis of Influence Factors on the Satisfaction of Viewers on China's CCTV-9 Channel (중국 CCTV-9 채널 시청자의 프로그램 관람 만족도 결정요인 분석)

  • In recent years, the research on audience satisfaction after watching programs has been carried out in various fields. However, there is no precedent for the study of simply analyzing the influencing factors of audience satisfaction with the newly established CCTV-9 channel. For CCTV-9, how to explore the strategy of industrial development based on the needs of the audience in the era of big data is a very important part. This article exploratively focuses on the influencing factors related to CCTV-9 audience satisfaction. Using questionnaires, 101 samples of the satisfaction with the channel of men and women of different ages, education backgrounds, majors, and incomes were collected to test, and 9 hypotheses were tentatively proposed as relevant influencing factors of channel satisfaction. Through empirical analysis, this research searches for the determinants. The reliability and validity of the measurement were properly analyzed, and all hypotheses were statistically tested. The empirical results show that: subject matter, program format, program scheduling, program broadcast time, channel advertising, simulcast series of documentaries, diversified communication platforms, brand image packaging and audience satisfaction are significantly positively correlated.

  • Generally, brand is the title for discriminating their own goods and service from other competitive company, brand-image means customer's good and bad affection or loyalty the brand of specific company. Customers often choose the goods according to the value of goods brand. In terms of this viewpoint, the value of company's brand is very important factor to the company's success. Brand-image also effects customers on selling company's goods. Specially, to the hotel business that should ensure lots of customer for a long period with the interest and credit of customers, its brand-image is more significant. What the image is looked upon as a important factor in marketing is due to the difficulty of discrimination against goods standardized in price and quality. Therefore, the company's image acts as a more important marketing factor in the high industrial society. Also it means a lot to the customer's purchasing behavior. When the company's brand-image is recognized or discriminated, customer's memory is longer and customer's reliability is raised than other company's advertisement and public information. Nowadays, most of hotels are perceiving the importance on their own brand-image but in the lack of deep study and systematic strategy in reality. The purpose of this study is to research the effect on customer's purchasing intention of hotel brand-image and choice-attribution. The empirical research has been done from 23April, 2004 to 20May, 2004. Data were collected from general customers who are using hotel located in Taegu. In conclusion, hotel brand-image depends highly on, the service quality of hotel staff and reputation of hotel. Besides, this acts on customer's hotel choice decisively.

지방 중소형 백화점의 경쟁력 강화요인 분석

  • 지방의 중소형 백화점은 외국자본의 할인점과 대기업에서 운영하는 대형백화점의 진출로 사면초가의 위기를 맞고 있다. 따라서 이러한 어려운 여건하에서 어떻게 하면 살아남을 수 있는 방안이 있는지를 찾는데 가장 큰 목적이 있다. 따라서 이를 위하여 지방의 중소형 백화점의 문제점의 도출을 하고, 경쟁력 강화요인을 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 먼저, 문제점을 도출하면, 유통업체 내부적인 관점으로는 불필요한 경비지출 증가의 문제, 마진률 저하 및 상품구성의 문제, 인력의 종속성과 양성제도 미흡, 가격정책 결정의 한계, 마케팅 능력 미약과 이미지 저하, 업태의 불명확화 등이 있고, 기업외적인 관점으로는 자금조달의 한계, 정부의 정책지원의 미약, 거래관행의 구조적인 문제, 전문유통인력 양성정책의 미흡 등을 들 수 있다. 두 번째로 경쟁력 강화요인을 보면, 유통업체 내부적인 관점으로는 업태의 포지셔닝 재정립, 대입형태의 전환, 자사(PB)상품 개발 촉진, 우수한 전문인력의 확보, 서비스 경쟁력 제고 등이 있고, 기업 외적인 관점으로는 구조개선이 필요, 조직화 협업화 협동화, 지방 산업 육성, 자금과 교육지원 등을 들 수 있다.

The Effect of TV News Brand Image on News Viewing Intentions: On the Functional and Symbolic Brand Attributes (TV 뉴스 브랜드 이미지가 시청의도에 미치는 영향 :상징적 속성과 기능적 속성을 중심으로)

  • This study aims to investigate the brand image of Korean TV news in terms of functional and symbolic attributes, to examine their interrelationships and their effect on audience' viewing intentions. A survey was conducted on 412 evening main news viewers of KBS1, SBS, and JTBC, and factor analysis and regression analysis were used. The results show that TV news brand personality was composed of three dimensions including enterprising, sincerity, and tradition. JTBC showed the highest mean value in terms of enterprising and sincerity over SBS and KBS1, and the lowest in tradition. The symbolic and functional attributes of the TV news brand image are highly correlated. Finally, the viewing intentions were determined in the order of news brand functional benefit, sincerity and enterprising personality factor.

Key Determinants of Online Wine Purchasing Intention (와인의 온라인 구매의 주요 결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • This paper was to figure out why online wine purchasing is not activated despite of the many advantages of having online transactions and to fine key determinants of online wine purchasing intention. Thus, the purpose of this study was to identify the determinants of online wine purchase intention, and examines the relationships between the determinants and online wine purchase intention. Data was collected from those who have experienced in using online wine store to purchase wine, and data was used to test the proposed research model. The findings showed that perceived usefulness and social influence(subjective norm, image) were key determinants of online wine site trust, but they were not related to online wine site trust. It also was found that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and subjective norm were positively and significantly related to online wine purchase intention whereas it had no relationship with image. In addition, online wine site trust was shown to influence on online wine purchase intention. Finally, the mediating effects were found in the relationships between perceived usefulness, subjective norm, and online wine purchase intention. Based on the results of the study, implications for future research are drawn.

  • Knowing the learner's image of a subject-related occupation is good data for determining the direction of a teacher's teaching and learning. Existing drawing image analysis tools have the limitation that it takes a long time to analyze images and drawings of a scientist's appearance. The semantic differential method is a widely used method to analyze images of specific objects. However, research using the semantic differential method has the limitation of failing to reflect terms or factors that change over time by using the adjective pairs used in the initial study as they were in accordance with the research content. In this study, we use the semantic differential method to develop a tool to measure middle school students' scientist image and apply it to middle school students to discuss educational implications regarding the usefulness of measuring scientist image.

Effect of Perceived Value on Customer's Repurchase Intention in a Coffee Chain Context: Focused on Utilitarian, Hedonic, and Social Value (커피 전문점의 인지된 가치가 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향: 실용적, 유희적, 사회적 가치를 중심으로)

  • This study examined customer's purchase decision-making processes in a coffee chain context. We posit customer satisfaction, brand image, and perceive value as key drivers of forming customer's repurchase intention. From the perspective of multidimensional perceived value concept, the effects of utilitarian, hedonic, and social value on customer's decision-making processes were investigated. The proposed model was empirically tested by using survey data collected from 232 university students who often visit several coffee chains. LISREL has been used to perform these analysis. The proposed theoretical model accounts for 67% of the variance in repurchase intention and 73% of the variance in customer satisfaction. The analysis results indicate that customer satisfaction and brand image play an important role in forming customer's repurchase intention. Further, utilitarian and hedonic values significantly affect customer's repurchase intention, whereas social value negatively influences it.

  • The flavor of food is not decided by only the sense of taste. Flavor is a complex ,ionization involving taste and aroma. It is also affected by the appearance, color and shape and touch or texture of food. Although our all senses are crucial factors in recognizing the sense of food, the sense of vision, especially colors, is a more crucial aspect. Because when consumers contact food, first of all, they see and recognize the color of the food and associate the flavor of the food as the colors of the food. This study focuses on the ways for applying colors to food so that consumers can associate the flavor of food efficiently. This study conducts a case study using web survey about the association of flavor by chocolate's colors. The result of the case study shows crucial factors influencing the association of food and color palettes according to sorts and degrees of chocolate's taste.

  • In the highly competitive coffee market, each coffee shop is striving to improve customer loyalty by providing a high level of service quality. To deepen our understanding of service quality in the coffee shop market, this study identifies the key elements of service quality of coffee shops and investigates their impacts on decision-making processes of female university students. This study also investigates the effects of customer satisfaction and brand image on customer loyalty in a coffee shop market. Moreover, it considers the two critical customer loyalty: repurchasing intention and recommendation intention. Data collected from 206 female university students were empirically tested against a research model using partial least squares. Analysis results showed that service product and service delivery significantly affect customer satisfaction and brand image whereas service intangible and service environment do not significantly influence on them. Customer satisfaction and brand image play an important role on the formation of repurchasing and recommendation intention.
