A study on the Sewing Condition of the Lower part of the Armhole Seam by Cap Heights (소매산 높이에 따른 소매달림선 하부곡선상의 봉제조건에 관한 연구)

  • An investigation was made of the angle of bias on the lower part of the armhole line of the back bodice and that on the lower part of the sleeve cap curve line by cap heights, and then it was made of the lock stitch seam strength and elongation on the matching angles, the stitch density (26 stitches/3cm, 19 stitches/3cm, 14 stitches/3cm, and the samples (a cotton fabric and two kinds of cotton mixed polyester fabric). The matching angles of the machine-sewed samples are $30^{\circ}/-30^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}/-45^{\circ}$, $45^{\circ}/-45^{\circ}$ and $60^{\circ}/-60^{\circ}$ by the analysis of the angles of bias on the lower part of the armhole seam. In view of the results of the seam strength and elongation, the reasonable sewing condition of the lower part of the armhole seam was 19 stitches/3cm.

  • Hepatic Focal Nodular Hyperplasia(FNH)는 아주 드문 간 양성 질환으로 우연히 발견되는 수가 않다. FNH의 신티그램 소견은 다양하다. 즉 56%에서는 신티그램상 이상소견이 발견되지 않으며 17%에서는 냉소로 나타나고 나머지 7%에서는 열소로 나타난다. 저자들은 상복부 동통을 호소하는 25세된 여자 환자에서 간 신티그램상 이상소견을 발견할 수 없었던 FNH 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

  • 간혈관종은 가장 흔한 양성 간종양이다. 그러나 혈관종의 감별진단은 용이하지 않다. 근래에 간현관종의 진만에 $^{99m}Tc-RBC$를 이용한 간신티그램이 많이 이용되고 있다. 저자들은 $^{99m}Tc-RBC$를 사용하는 간신티그램을 시행하여 (1) 간혈관 신티그램상 혈류 증가에 의한 냉소변연부의 방사능 섭취 증가를 동맥기에서 관찰할 수 있었고, (2) 시간 경과에 따라 방사능 집적이 냉소의 변연부에서부터 차츰 중앙으로 진행되어 마침내, (3) 지연 촬영 영상에서는 냉소가 완전히 열소로 변하는 것을 확인함으로써, 간혈관종을 진단할 수 있었기에 문헌고찰과 함계 보고하는 바이다.

Verification of Conventional kimchi Preservation Methods (김치의 재래보존법 검증)

  • Various additives(glucono-$\delta$-lactone, glycine, chitosan, Chinese pepper extract+msutard oil, cinnamon oil+ginger oil+mustard oil, Chinese pepper extract), used in the Korean patents singularly or in combination, were tested for extension of shelf-life of kimchi. Addition of glucono-$\delta$-lactone or chitosan was somewhat effective in delaying the fermentation rate, however no such effect was seen by other additives. Chitosan at the concentrations of 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5% was similarily effective in delaying the fermen-tation rate. Mustard oil or cinnamon oil tend to delay the fermentation rate by singular addition at the concern tration of 0.5% or 1%. Soaking of the salted and washed Chinese cabbage in 0.5% chitosan solution resulted in delay of the fermentation rate of kimchi.

  • 본 연구는 최근 인터넷 분야에서 각광을 받고 있는 포털사이트의 개념, 특징 및 구성요소에 대해 살펴보았다. 세계적으로 유명한 대표적 포털사이트인 마이크로소프트(MSN), 아메리카 온라인(AOL), 야후(YAHOO)의 포털서비스 사례를 컨텐츠(contents), 커뮤니티(community), 커뮤니케이션(communication), 커머스(commerce)의 유형으로 나누어 알아보았다. 이러한 포털사이트의 개념을 도서관의 통합정보 서비스 제공에 적용할 수 있는지 알아보기 위하여 학술정보 전문 포털사이트인 한국교육학술정보원(KERIS), 연구개발정보센터(KORDIC), LG상남도서관의 포털사이트의 주요 내용을 살펴보고, 학술정보 전문 포털사이트의 모형 구축을 시도하였다.

  • This paper deals with the digital autopilot implementation for a launch vehicle. We propose a hardware and software system for digital autopilot implemented by microprocessor. The hardware system designed in this paper consists of CPU and memory board with 80286 MPU and 80287 NPU and I/O interface with A/D and D/A converters. The software system developed is composed of power-on self-test program, initializing program, interrupt service program, and control program. The performance of the overall system controlled by the digital autopilot implemented in this paper is evaluated via real-time simulations, which show that the control performances are satisfactory.

Clarification of Persimmon Vinegar Using Chitosan (Chitosan을 이용한 감식초의 청징화)

  • The effects of chitosans with two different molecular weights (150 and 37 kDa) on the clarification of persimmon vinegar were investigated. The coagulated solids increased with increasing chitosan concentrations. Chitosan treatment had no effect on pH and acidity. Turbidity, browning, contents of tannin and soluble solids decreased with increasing chitosan concentrations. An increase in chitosan concentration resulted in an increase in color L* value and a decrease in a* and b* values. Reduction in turbidity and tannin contents somewhat differed depending on the molecular weights of chitosan. In sensory evaluation, chitosan treatment did not affect color and flavor over all concentrations tested. However, astringent taste was noticeably strong by treatment with 500mg/L chitosan, resulting in low overall acceptability. Therefore, the most effective clarification of persimmon vinegar was achieved by treatment with 400mg/L chitosan, irrespective of molecular weight.

Quality Changes during Storage of Persimmon Vinegar Clarified by Chitosan Treatment (Chitosan 처리로 청징화된 감식초의 저장중 품질 변화)

  • Persimmon vinegar was clarified with 400mg/L chitosans of two different molecular weights (MW 150 and 37 kDa), and its quality changes were investigated during storage at room temperature for 6 months. No significant changes in pH, acidity, and tannin content were observed. However, turbidity and browning slightly increased while protein content slightly decreased. Soluble solids content slightly decreased when treated with high MW chitosan. Color L* value decreased while a* and b* values increased with storage periods. The major organic acid in the persimmon vinegar after 6 months storage was acetic acid with minor lactic, malic, tartaric, galacturonic, and succinic acids. Overall, the quality of persimmon vinegar clarified by chitosan treatment, irrespective of molecular weight, was more stable without noticeable changes during storage than that of control group without chitosan treatment.

The Comparison of Plantar Foot Pressure Distribution in Adult and Elderly according Obstacle Heights (장애물 높이에 따른 성인과 노인의 족저압 분포 비교)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare plantar foot pressure distribution in adults and elderly according to obstacle height. Methods: Nine healthy adults and nine older adults were recruited and the subjects provided written informed consent consent prior to participation. Both groups walked and crossed obstacles with heights of 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% of their height. Foot pressure was measured by peak pressure using the Pedar System (Novel Gmbh, Germany) during obstacle walking with barefeet in shoes. Three trails were calculated on eight areas and then averaged for data analysis. Results: A significant difference in great toe, little toes, and lateral metatarsal area was observed between adults and elderly groups, but other areas did not show significant differences. Foot pressure was increased in groups according to obstacle height. Conclusion: These findings showed that change in foot pressure distribution is more lateral in elderly in order to maintain postural control during obstacle crossing.

Real-time Monitoring of Glucose Using a Differential Refractive Index Detector (시차 굴절률 측정에 의한 실시간 글루코오스 모니터링)

  • A differential refractive index detector was used for monitoring glucose contents in textile processing solutions. The sensitivity of the device was high enough to measure 0.05% aqueous glucose solution that could not be measured by normal refractive index measurement. The device was set to monitor glucose concentration continuously in real time by measuring differential refractive index and calibrated by standard glucose solutions in a range of 0.1 to 1.0%. The possibility of industrial application of the device was demonstrated by real-time monitoring of glucose concentration in textile processing solutions such as desizing bath and cellulase treatment bath. Both of solutions contained glucose as a major degraded product. The device would be able to control the weight loss of cellulosic fiber during cellulase treatment since the amount of degraded products in a processing bath is proportional to its weight loss.
