A study on the user satisfaction evaluation model of the smart learning system - Focusing on www.basic-edu.net usability evaluation results - (스마트러닝 시스템의 이용만족도 평가모형 연구 - www.basic-edu.net 사용성 평가 결과를 중심으로 -)

  • The importance of smart learning is increasing as the speed of development of non-face-to-face services increases due to the influence of COVID-19. This study is the user satisfaction evaluation model that utilizes the causal relationship between variables used for evaluation, focusing on the usability evaluation results of the learning disability intervention service (www.basic-edu.net) according to the need to evaluate the use satisfaction of the smart learning system. To this end, theoretical studies were conducted on smart learning and learning disability intervention services, www.basic-edu.net, usability evaluation of learning disability intervention systems, and use satisfaction evaluation models. And based on the results, a hypothesis was presented on the user satisfaction evaluation model of the smart learning system. The experimental method allowed 40 students and parents across the country to use the www.basic-edu.net service and was evaluated for its usability. In addition, using this data, the hypothesis was verified using regression analysis based on four variables: ease of use, interest, self-learning, and satisfaction with use. As a result of the hypothesis verification, it was found that the causal relationship of all hypotheses from H1 to H4 was significant.

  • It had been said that reading education in Japan has a goal to 'Lead children's character to a desirable direction'. Since the 2000s, Japan's reading activity was directly linked with an education program to improve children's education ability. These movements for reading in Japan is made more concrete by the 'Promotion Act on Children's Reading Activities'. For improving the reading skills of the younger generation in Japan, cooperation among homes, regions, and schools is needed. As a result, Japan has an opportunity to build an educational infrastructure for reading support services. The library has also been given an enhanced role as a learning commons. In this background, this study tried to analyze the current state of Japan's reading instruction qualification system, and show their efforts to foster reading specialists for improving the reading skills of the younger generation. This will generate the momentum needed to have the library evolve into learning commons.

Moderating Effect of Learning styles on the relationship of quality and satisfaction of e-Learning context (이러닝의 품질특성과 만족도에 관한 학습유형의 조절효과)

  • This study aims to explore the effect of quality factors and learning styles on users' satisfaction in e-Learning context. For this purpose, statistical methods such as reliability test, factor analysis, ANOVA, regression analysis were carried out using the survey data from university students. The quality factors of e-Learning were classified into contents, system, service, and interpersonal activities while learning styles were classified into positive-cooperative, self-directed, environmental-dependent, and passive styles. The results showed that each quality factors of e-Learning has a strong positive effect on user satisfaction, and self-directed group has higher satisfaction than other groups. Learning styles have moderating effects on the quality-satisfaction relationship, and especially, the group of passive learning style has a strong moderating effect on the interpersonal activities. Theoretical and practical implications and future research directions are drawn from these findings.

  • In a circumstance that the development of mobile media through the on-line consumer desire in the era of Web 2.0 has promoted extension of personal mobile media on the part of consumers, this study examined consumer trends depending on use of e-learning contents through mobile media. In connection with tendencies through mobile prosumers' consumption patterns and use of mobile educational contents, I analyzed user demands based on characteristics of personal media centering around a communities of e-learning portals. Direction of e-learning technological development calls on mobile communication companies to open their networks and share platform following digital convergence. E-learning contents should be produced in a custom-made way for the personal media. This study is aimed at contributing for advancement of e-learning contents consumers' user convenience implicating examination into consumer demands which are necessary to invigorate e-learning contents.

  • The airline industry faces with significant competition due to the rise of technology innovation and diversified customer needs. Therefore, continuous quality management is essential to gain competitive advantages. For this reason, there have been various studies to measure and manage service quality using customer reviews. However, previous studies have focused on measuring customer satisfaction only, neglecting systematic management between customer expectations and perception based on customer reviews. In response, this study suggests a framework to identify relevant criteria for service quality management, measure the importance, and assess the customer perception based on customer reviews. Machine learning techniques, topic models, and sentiment analysis are used for this study. This study can be used as an important strategic tool for evaluating service quality by identifying important factors for airline customer satisfaction while presenting a framework for identifying each airline's current service level.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the factors affecting satisfaction and dissatisfaction of e-learning learner students using Kano model and Timko's customer satisfaction coefficient. The results of the analysis showed that firstly, the students are highly satisfied when it is convenient to learn visually and audibly, when the students can ask questions at any time, and when the professor was interested in the students. Second, the rational criteria and accurate evaluation of grades and assignments were confirmed as factors that should be satisfied. Third, unlike the results of the basic study that the students use e-learning due to the convenience of learning time and learning space and the ease of learning process, it is no longer an attractive factor to use e-learning. The results of this study suggest that it is possible to present effective directions for the development of e-learning education and strategic application of each factor classified by the two-dimensional recognition method.

  • 정보기술 발전에 따라 정보 활용 및 처리 역량이 상승하면서 교육 환경의 지능화, 네트워크화로 기술간, 서비스 간 융 복합을 통한 다양한 학습 내용 및 방법이 출현하였으며, 최근 e-러닝 산업에서 스마트기기 보급 확산과 상황 적응적이고 자기 주도적 학습에 대한 소비자의 니즈가 증가하면서 새로운 형태의 교육시스템인 스마트러닝이 부각되고 있다. 이러한 교육 패러다임의 변화에 따라 기존의 교육 콘텐츠를 스마트기기에 적용하기 위해서는 콘텐츠 및 솔루션 구조의 개선이 요구되며, 또한 서비스 제공의 측면에서 다양한 교육 콘텐츠 연동과 교육 서비스 융합을 위한 표준 플랫폼 적용이 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 JVM 환경의 PC 인터페이스를 통해 ePub 표준의 교육용 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 제작기능과 기존 서책형 파일 포맷의 자료 정보를 응용하기 위한 정보변환 모듈, 스마트 기기용 ePub 전자책 뷰어를 포함하는 통합 솔루션 소프트웨어인 ePub Solution을 설계하였다.

Relationship Between Service Learning And Self-Directed Learning (서비스러닝자기주도 학습과의 관계)

  • This study examined the effect service learning combined with self-directed study had on transferring skills from the university classroom to their practical application in local community centers. The subjects of this study were students who took service learning classes from September 1, 2019 to December 28, 2019. The research question in this paper is 'What is the relationship between service learning-based general classes and self-directed learning?'. That is, how do service learning-based general classes affect sub-elements of self-directed learning? We then tried to determine how the variables of individual learners can affect self-directed learning ability. The results showed that autonomy and problem solving were the greatest at r=.66. Openness and self-assessment (r=.60), autonomy and self-assessment (r=.55) had significant correlation. Learner autonomy had a significant correlation with facilitation and collaboration of service learning (**p<.01). According to this result of the study, it is possible for learners to deepen what they have learned at school and to practice and gain experience through community service. Further, practical problem solving and self-assessment through reflection are possible. Learners were able to inspire responsibility as members of society and increase self-esteem as democratic citizens.

  • 인터넷과 정보기술의 발전으로 최근 이러닝 시스템을 포함한 다양한 학습 시스템이 연구 발전되고 있다. 학습자의 관점에서는 학습의 형태 혹은 학습자의 학습 패턴등을 분석하여 지능적인 학습시스템으로 발전하고 있으며, 교수자의 관점에서는 교수학습 모델 연구와 학습 컨텐츠 계발 방법론 연구 등이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 지능형 튜터링 시스템을 위한 메타러닝 설계 연구를 제안하였다. 메타러닝은 학습자 자신이 어떤 특성을 가지고 어떻게 학습하는지에 대해 학습할 수 있는 방법을 설명한다. 동일한 학습내용을 같은 순서 혹은 같은 방법으로 학습하는 것은 서로 다른 학습자에게 동일한 학습 결과를 나타낼 수 없기 때문에 개인 맞춤형 학습 서비스 형태를 필요로 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 메타러닝 설계를 기반으로 지능형 튜터링 시스템을 개발 할 수 있는 방법을 설명하고자 한다. 향후 본 논문에 설계를 기반으로 지능형 튜터링 플랫폼을 표준으로 개발하여 국제적 표준의 ITS(Intelligent Tutoring System)로 발전되기를 기대한다.

  • 이러닝은 기능적인 요소기술의 구현에 초점을 두었던 단계를 지나 학습자의 학습 능력과 취향, 선호도 및 학습습관을 고려하며 사용자의 편의와 학습의 품질을 근본적이고 획기적으로 개선하기 위한 유러닝으로 발전하고 있다. 이와 함께 IMS 학습설계는 병렬세션관리, 협동학습과 혼합학습 지원 측면에서 그 동안 국내외에서 개별학습을 지원하는 표준안으로 활용되어온 ADL의 SCORM 국제표준이 갖는 한계 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 대안으로서 등장하였다. 하지만 제정된 이후로 개정이 되지 않아 유러닝을 지원하기 위해서는 개선이 요구되고 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 지식서비스 USN 산업원천 기술개발 과제의 세부과제인 'U-러닝 환경 표준 및 표준 명세 개발 및 검증' 과제에서 맞춤형 학습을 지원하고 사용자 편의를 제공할 수 있도록 확장된 학습설계 표준에 대하여 소개한다.
