  • 이동로봇이 움직이는 물체를 추적하는 기능을 갖도록 하기 위해서는 움직이는 물체의 존재를 판단하고 위치 및 속도벡터를 측정해야 한다. 본 논문은 단시간에 이동 물체의 위치와 속도벡터 추정하여 실시간 추적이 가능하도록 하기 위해 초음파센서를 이용한 가상의 초음파영상 해석방법을 제안한다. 초음파 영상은 초음파센서의 매회 측정값을 누적하여 구성하며 거리축과 시간축을 갖는 2차원 영상으로 표현된다. 영상에서 측정된 물체가 만드는 선분의 기울기에 따라 이동하는 물체와 정지한 물체를 분리하고 속도를 측정한다. 제안된 방법은 시뮬레이션을 통해 타당성을 입증하였다.

A Comparison of the Trainees' Evacuation Characteristics according to the Indoor Smoke-fullfill during the Safety Training on Ship (선상안전교육 시 선내 연기충진 여부에 따른 실습생의 피난이동특성 비교)

  • To make students recognize the danger of fire smoke that may occur in ships and to improve the response capability, spaces for safety educ ation were built inside the training ship, and scenarios were developed. This study is an analysis of the movement characteristics of the students acquire d under each scenario. Followings are the summary of the analysis results. In the non-smoke environments, there was no difference in the velocity of escape movement between the case of without block on the familiar route and the case of with unexpected block. However, when the indoor was filled with smoke, the visibility became very low because of the smoke density and the average velocity was 62.5 % slower than the case where it was not. Regardless of the scenarios, the average equivalent velocity on the complex path was faster than the simple straight path, and the standard deviation was smaller. Under the smoke-fullfilled environment, although the relative velocity probability distributions of the complex passage and the entire passag e are very similar, the inter-individual fluctuation of the relative velocity ratio of the complex passage to that of the entire passage was very large. On the other hand, equivalent velocity could be expressed by the logarithmic function of the visibility. Also, as the tension of the students increased, the equivalent velocities were accelerated on all scenarios.

  • Travel time between two points depends upon whether it is a rush hour or not in metropolitan area. It is true that there is big differences on the time required to get through the area whether going in busy morning or near noon. Another issue is that there exist many delivery points which closely located each other; so no need to consider traveling hours among these points. We designed an efficient procedure to reduce the complexity by considering closely located delivery points as one big delivery point. A computer simulation model is constructed for comparison purposes of the developed heuristic with the optimum solution.

  • 늘어나는 항공 수요의 증가로 인하여 항공 트래픽은 날로 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따라 항공기의 사고 가능성이 점차 늘어나고 있다. 항공기를 안전하게 관제하기 위하여는 항공기의 향후 이동 경로와 그때의 고도와 속도, 예상 도착 시간을 사전에 연산하는 궤도 모델링 기법이 필수적으로 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 궤도 모델링에 필수적으로 사용되는 항공기의 이동 속도와 그때의 고도 계산 알고리즘을 제안하고 환경 파라미터의 변화에 따라 이동 속도가 변경됨을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 6축 가속도센서를 이용하여 빠른속도로 이동하는 물체의 속도와 궤적을 추적하는 기법을 다룬다. 특히, 이동속도와 궤적을 지속적으로 추적하기 위해 일반적으로 사용되는 일반적분을 이용하는 기법보다 효율적인 방법을 소개하고 기존 기법과 실험을 통해 비교평가한다. 또한 6축 가속도 센서 중 자이로센서의 값을 이용하여 궤적 추정을 통하여 움직임을 표시하는 기법을 제안한다.

  • In Ubiquitous computing, RFID has been become a key technology to provide the real-time location information of users. For this purpose, many recent researches have been conducted regarding RTLS based on the RFID system. In this study, we evaluated the efficiency and feasibility of the velocity gauging system using RTLS based on the RFID system. By using this system, the velocity of mobile units were measured and the accuracy was evaluated with data obtained from DGPS. The results demonstrated that RTLS based on the RFID system would be suitable to measure with relatively low velocity information of mobile units. When RFID infrastructures are being constructed, the developed system will be a better position to increase popularity of velocity information service.

  • The existing algorithms or programs of egress time estimations rule out the walking velocity of each single person. But this algorithm can not be applied to estimation of evacuation in a hospital, because most patients are handicapped or walking on various kinds of tools. This study measured the moving velocities of patients according to different types of physical handicap. Also evacuation drills in several hospitals were carried out to establish an algorithm for prediction of total egress time of wards. Besides these measurements awareness of staffs about safety was investigated with the questionnaire. The results of this study is divided into two serial papers.

  • In order to obtain high-resolution seafloor images, research on SA (Synthetic Aperture) processing and the development of related underwater systems have been performed in many countries. Recently the SA processing is also recognized as an important technique in Korea and researchers started related basic study. However, most previous studies ignored the Doppler effect by a moving receiver array. In this paper reconstructed SAS (Synthetic Aperture Sonar) images and position errors are analyzed according to the speed of a moving array for understanding its moving effect on the SAS images. In the analysis the spatial frequency domain interpolation algorithm is used. The results show that as the moving speed of the array increases the estimated position error also increases and image distortion gets worse when we do not consider the array motion. However, if the compensated receiver signals considering the array motion are used the position error and image distortion can be eliminated. In conclusion a signal processing scheme which compensates the Doppler effect is necessary especially in the condition where the array speed is over 1 m/s.
