Due to advances in position monitoring technologies such as global positioning systems and sensor networks, recent position information of moving objects has the form of streaming data which are updated continuously and rapidly. In this paper we propose an efficient trajectory maintenance method that stores the streaming position data of moving objects in the limited size of storage space and estimates past positions based on the stored data. For this, we first propose a new concept of incremental extraction of position information. The incremental extraction means that, whenever a new position is added into the system, we incrementally re-compute the new version of past position data maintained in the system using the current version of past position data and the newly added position. Next, based on the incremental extraction, we present an overall framework that stores position information and estimates past positions in the stream environment. We then propose two polynomial-based methods, line-based and curve-based methods, as the method of estimating the past positions on the framework. We also propose three incremental extraction methods: equi-width, slope-based, and recent-emphasis extraction methods. Experimental results show that the proposed incremental extraction provides the relatively high accuracy (error rate is less than 3%) even though we maintain only a little portion (only 0.1%) of past position information. In particular, the curve-based incremental extraction provides very low error rate of 1.5% even storing 0.1% of total position data. These results indicate that our incremental extraction methods provide an efficient framework for storing the position information of moving objects and estimating the past positions in the stream environment.

With the recent the use of spatio-temporal data mining which can extract various knowledge such as movement patterns of moving objects in history data of moving object gets increasing. However, the existing movement pattern extraction methods create lots of candidate movement patterns when the minimum support is low. Therefore, in this paper, we suggest the STMPE(Spatio-Temporal Movement Pattern Extraction) algorithm in order to efficiently extract movement patterns of moving objects from the large capacity of spatio-temporal data. The STMPE algorithm generalizes spatio-temporal and minimizes the use of memory. Because it produces and keeps short-term movement patterns, the frequency of database scan can be minimized. The STMPE algorithm shows more excellent performance than other movement pattern extraction algorithms with time information when the minimum support decreases, the number of moving objects increases, and the number of time division increases.

A descriptor which is suitable for motion analysis by using the motion features of moving objects from the real time image sequence is proposed. To segment moving objects from the background, the background learning is performed. We extract motion trajectories of individual objects by using the sequence of the $1^{st}$ order moment of moving objects. The center points of each object are managed by linked list. The descriptor includes the $1^{st}$ order coordinates of moving object belong to neighbor of the per-defined position in grid pattern, the start frame number which a moving object appeared in the scene and the end frame number which it disappeared. A video retrieval by the proposed descriptor combining global and local feature is more effective than conventional methods which adopt a single feature among global and local features.

In crossing stereo camera system as a security equipment system, a new algorithm for the tracking method of the moving object and the measurement method of distance of the object from cameras to moving object is proposed. The stereo input images are matched by a pixel for the moving object extraction, then the moving elements obtained from an adaptive threshold's value for an error correction and the moving object area extracted by noise eliminative algorithm. In addition to, the moving object traced by control pan/tilt of cameras using a coordinate value of the moving object, and the measurement method of distance to moving object by using special features of the crossing stereo camera system is proposed. From the experimental results, the proposed algorithm was found to be able to measure of the distance and trace for moving object in a stereo security camera system. The error rate of a distance measurement be existed within 6%. Moreover in implementation the proposed algorithm, the stereo security system, the automatic moving robot system and the stereo remote control system will be applied practical application.

This study relates to a method and device for extracting and tracking moving objects. In particular, objects are extracted using different images between adjacent images, and the location information of the extracted object is continuously transmitted to provide accurate location information of at least one moving object. It relates to a method and device for extracting and tracking moving objects based on tracking moving objects. People tracking, which started as an expression of the interaction between people and computers, is used in many application fields such as robot learning, object counting, and surveillance systems. In particular, in the field of security systems, cameras are used to recognize and track people to automatically detect illegal activities. The importance of developing a surveillance system, that can detect, is increasing day by day.

This paper is a prior study to improve the efficiency of offloading based on mobile agents to optimize allocation of computing resources and reduce latency that support user proximity of application services in a Fog/Edge Computing (FEC) environment. We propose an algorithm that effectively reduces the execution time and the amount of memory required when extracting optimal moving patterns from the vast set of spatio-temporal movement history data of moving objects. The proposed algorithm can be useful for the distribution and deployment of computing resources for computation offloading in future FEC environments through frequency-based optimal path extraction.

생성된 시퀀스는 CNN(Convolutional Neural Networks)과 LSTM(Long Short Term Memory)기반 다중 융합 네트워크 모델을 통해 시계열에 따른 행동 특징들을 추출하고, 깊은 FC(Fully Connected) 계층을 통해 특징들을 융합하여 행동을 예측한다.

Object tracking in a real time image is one of interesting subjects in computer vision and many practical application fields Past couple of years. But sometimes existing systems cannot find object by recognize background noise as object. This paper proposes a method of object detection and tracking using adaptive background image in real time. To detect object which does not influenced by illumination and remove noise in background image, this system generates adaptive background image by real time background image updating. This system detects object using the difference between background image and input image from camera. After setting up MBR(minimum bounding rectangle) using the internal point of detected otject, the system tracks otiect through this MBR. In addition, this paper evaluates the test result about performance of proposed method as compared with existing tracking algorithm.
