This study examined the moderating effects of age and gender on the relationship between values and communication styles of Korean adults. Five hundred adult men and women across the country responded the questionnaires regarding cultural universal values (openness to change, self-enhancement, conservatism, and self-transcendence), cultural-specific values (collectivism, conformity to norms, emotional self-control, family recognition through achievement, and humility), high-context communication style, and low-context communication style. The results of this study are as follows. First, as a result of exploring the factors influencing the communication style, self-enhancement, emotional self-control, and self-transcendence significantly predicted the high-context communication style. Whereas openness to change, self-enhancement, conformity to norms, emotional self-control, and gender significantly predicted the low-context communication style. Second, age moderated the relationship between self-enhancement and high-context communication style. The high-context communication style significantly increased when the level of self-enhancement was high and the age was younger. Third, age and gender moderated the relationship between conformity to norms and high-context communication style. In the case of males with high conformity to norms and younger age, the high-context communication style significantly increased. Fourth, gender moderated the relationship between collectivism and low-context communication. As collectivism increased, men tended to increase low-context communication styles, while women tended to decrease it. Fifth, gender moderated the relationship between humility and low-context communication. In the case of women with high humility, their low-context communication style was significantly lowered. The implications and limitations of the results of this study were discussed.

The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of stress coping method, emotional intelligence, gratitude disposition, and communication competence of nursing college students to identify the factors that influence communication competence. Data were collected by using questionnaires from 159 students who were in 2nd year of the nursing college in G city, from Nov 9 to 11, 2021. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe, Kruskal-Wallis test, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression. Statistically, communication competence showed a significantly positive correlation with active stress coping method, emotional intelligence and gratitude disposition. Influencing factors on communication competence were emotional intelligence, gratitude disposition, and active stress coping method accounting for 68% of the total change. Based on this results, strategies to increase emotional intelligence, gratitude disposition, and active stress coping method are needed to improve communication skills of nursing students.

Objective : Due to the rapid aging of the country, the elderly population is increasing and the ratio of face-to-face meetings with the elderly in major areas of occupational therapy is high. The purpose of this study was to investigate the overall perception of the elderly and the status of communication with the elderly. Methods : This survey was conducted From April to June 2020. Occupational therapists who provide interventions for the elderly in hospitals and public health centers across the country were collected using online questionnaires. A total of 91 questionnaires were collected through a self-administered questionnaire, of which 82 were used for data analysis, excluding 9 with insufficient responses. Results : Occupational therapists generally had a lot of negative perceptions of the elderly. In addition, as factors that hindered communication with the elderly, they responded in order of hearing-related, language understanding related, and articulation related. Lastly, occupational therapists were found to induce smooth communication with the elderly in the order of conversation response management, emotional expression, understanding enhancement, and relationship control. Conclusions : Occupational therapists are health care professionals who play a major role in improving the subjects' social participation and quality of life. Therefore, it is necessary to provide professional therapeutic interventions and related education using improved communication skills along with an understanding of the elderly's communication skills and their level of communication.

These days, the importance of the mathematics interaction is strongly emphasized, which leads to the need of research on how the interaction is being practiced in the math class and what can be the desirable interaction in terms of mathematical thinking. To figure out the correlation between the mathematical interaction patterns and mathematical thinking, it also classifies mathematical thinking levels into the phases of recognizing, building-with and constructing. we can say that there are all of three patterns of the mathematics interactions in the class, and although it seems that the funnel pattern is contributing to active interaction between the students and teachers, it has few positive effects regarding mathematical thinking. In other words, what we need is not the frequency of the interaction but the mathematics interaction that improves students' mathematical thinking. Therefore, we can conclude that it is the focus pattern that is desirable mathematics interaction in the class in the view of mathematical thinking.

Mathematical communication is necessary to exchange mathematical idea among participants in teaching-learning process. The promotion of mathematical communication competence is clearly stated in many parts of the 2007 revised curriculum. As a result, mathematical communication tasks are contained in 'high school Mathematics' textbook. At this point of time when increasing importance of mathematical communication is realized, we will check over mathematical communication and analyze communicative tasks corner in 'high school Mathematics' textbook in this paper And thereby we hope this study help prepare for practical communicative tasks corner suggesting a way for invigoration of mathematical communication.

IT 기술의 발전과 네트워크 보급은 일상생활만 변화시킨 것이 아니라, 인간의 의사소통 방법에도 영향을 미치고 있다. 대면(Face to Face) 커뮤니케이션은 지금까지 가장 효과적인 방법이라 일컬어 졌지만, 이제는 통신 기술의 발달과 더불어 여러 형태의 유용한 의사소통 방법들이 보급되어 생활화되어가고 있다. 특히 PC의 대중화와 초고속 통신망의 보급, 그리고 휴대전화의 보편화는 의사소통 방법의 다양화에 큰 영향을 주었다 보이스 메일은 텍스트 기반 소통과는 다른 음성으로 의사 전달을 하는 소통 방식이면서도, 대표적 텍스트 기반의 시스템인 이메일처럼 비동기적인 통신 수단이기도 하다. 본 논문은 프로젝트 수행이라는 특수한 경우 보이스 메일을 사용한 구성원들의 의사소통 케이스를 관찰, 분석하고, 이것을 기반으로 프로젝트 수행 시 보이스 메일의 사용성의 특성에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

최근 온라인 환경에서 다양한 컨텐츠들이 의사소통의 매개체로 활용되고 있다. 하지만 많은 사용자들은 다양한 형태로 되어있는 정보를 공유, 전달하기 위해 기존 주로 사용되는 의사소통 방법인 문자, 음성으로 변환해야하는 불편함을 겪고 있다. 본 고에서는 온라인 환경에서 사용자들간의 의사소통 방법으로써 원하는 정보를 쉽게 전송하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법(Information-Picker)은 사용자가 타인에게 전송하려는 정보를 정해진 표식으로 지정하거나 종이에 쓰고, 근접 센서를 통해 사용자가 전송의사를 입력하면, 그 내용을 이미지 센서를 통해 입력 받아 적합한 정보 형태로 변환하여, 타인에게 전송하는 방식이다. Information- picker 는 온라인 환경에서 사용자들간의 의사소통에 있어서 방법의 폭을 넓히는 측면뿐만 아니라, 입력하려는 정보를 센서에 근접시키는 직관적인 인테페이스를 제공하여 사용자로 하여금 쉽고 폭 넓은 의사소통의 편의를 제공할 수 있으며, 특히 현 상황에서의 온라인 사용자들간의 의사전달의 한계를 개선하고, 더욱 풍부한 의도 표현 수단을 제공 할 수 있다.

이 연구에서는 건강가정지원센터의 프로그램 활성화를 위해 가족의 가치관, 의사소통, 가족관계성 수준에 따라 개설하고자 하는 프로그램 필요도가 다르게 나타날 것이다라는 연구문제를 규명하기 위한 목적에서 출발하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 G광역시 서구지역에 거주하는 주민 299명을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문지 방식을 사용하였다. 분석결과, 가족의 가치관, 의사소통, 가족관계성 수준에서 평균미만집단이 평균이상집단과 비교하여 건강가족지원프로그램에 대한 필요도가 유의미하게 높게 나타났다. 따라서 건강가정지원센터의 사업 프로그램은 지역주민의 가족의 가치관, 의사소통, 가족관계성 수준을 반영한 필요도 중심의 활성화 방안을 모색해야 할 것이다.

사이버 공간이 현실 생활의 일부분으로 통합되어가고 사이버 공간에서의 대인간 의사소통이 보편적인 현상으로 나타남에 따라 사이버 공간에서의 의사소통과 경험 그리고 그것의 영향력에 대한 논의는 그 동안 많이 있어왔다. 그러나 기존의 연구들은 사용자의 행동 특성에 따라 사이버 공간에서의 활동과 영향력, 그리고 그 의미가 달라진다는 점을 간과하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 동일한 커뮤니케이션 공간인 싸이월드도 그것에 부여하는 가치와 의미는 사람마다 다르고 따라서 행동도 다를 것이라는 가정하에, 싸이월드에서 나타나는 다양한 이용행동과 활동들을 유형으로 분류하고 그 유형에 따라 싸이월드에서의 의사소통 패턴과 경험, 활동에서의 차이를 살펴보고자 했다. 사전 연구로 진행되었던 사용자 인터뷰를 통해 정리된 행동문항을 전체 설문을 통해 분석한 결과 싸이월드에서 보이는 개인의 행동적 특성을 의미하는 5 개 요인(적극성.몰입, 낯선 사람과의 연결과 정보 추구, 사생활 보호, 단순한 연락 수단, 폐쇄성)이 확인되었고, 이렇게 추출된 행동 요인을 토대로 싸이월드에서 나타나는 3 개의 행동 유형(적극적 활용형, 폐쇄적. 다이어리 추구형, 새로운 관계.정보 추구형)이 구분되었다. 행동 요인의 차이로 표현되는 3 개의 행동 유형에 따른 싸이월드에서의 의사소통 패턴과 싸이월드에서의 활동 그리고 싸이월드 경험에 대한 평가를 분석한 결과 행동 유형간에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 동일한 싸이월드라는 공간이 사용자가 추구하는 가치와 목적에 따라 각기 다른 공간으로 기능하고 있음을 보여주었다는 데에 의의가 있으며, 가치의 차이로 나타나는 행동 유형에 따라 싸이월드에서 소통하는 대상과 방식이 달라지고 경험의 의미 또한 달라질 수 있음을 시사하고 있다.
