패션 디자이너의 페르소나 마케팅 (Persona Marketing of Fashion Designers)

  • Many fashion designers now regard themselves as part of a visual medium that reveals their persona to the masses. They are willing to stay in the spotlight, which influences brand publicity. Designer-as-brand is an important marketing factor in regards to profits. This study combines a literary survey and case analysis of persona marketing as well as inquires on the persona of fashion designers drawing on the theory of persona. This study classifies the persona of fashion designers into four categories that proceed from what has been established above: freak, dandy, duo, and anonymity. The persona of fashion designers has attracted considerable attention over the past decade. This study provides useful information for the persona marketing of fashion designers.

SPA 브랜드의 녹색 마케팅에 따른 브랜드 태도와 녹색 소비행동의도의 차이 (The Difference in Brand Attitude and Green Consumption Intention by SPA Brands' Green Marketing)

  • Green marketing is efforts to achieve the environmental responsibility in all marketing activities. This study investigates the contribution of SPA fashion brands' green marketing activities to consumers' green behavior and the brands' growth as well as the natural environment. Green marketing activities are classified by product relevance and consumer participation. An online survey is conducted using scenarios developed according to the two (high/low product relevance) by two (high/low consumer participation) research design. Green consuming intention and brand attitude are compared by product relevance and consumer participation. The positive effects of product relevance and consumer participation on green consuming intention are found. The positive effects of consumer participation and the interaction effect of product relevance and consumer participation on brand attitude. Based on the results, this study suggests effective green marketing activities for fashion brands.

실버의류산업의 마케팅 전략에 관한 연구 (A study on the Marketing Strategies of the Silver Clothing Industry)

  • The increased average life expectancy and an aging society mean a lot of change socially and economically. With the increased population of the new elderly generation, holding a desire to pursue high quality life, plans and marketing strategies towards this group have progressed in the clothing industry. Purchases of clothing will lead the silver clothing industry to a huge consumer market and silver clothing brands are expected to have a lot of potential to grow, especially in department stores in Korea. From now on, there is a need for attacking the market with distinct tactics and characteristics that will satisfy the elderly consumers emotionally. Psychological views towards the elderly generation must be changed and our unique environment state must be considered. With all that, there is also a strong need for researches and development technically and industrially.

한국과 미국의 패션마케팅 교육에 관한 연구 (제 1 보) (A Comparative Analysis of Fashion Marketing Education between Korea and USA(Part I))

  • This research aims to compare fashion marketing education in Korea and in U.S.A.. Based upon on-line and off-line survey to university professors in both countries, this study analyzes their responses including subjective opinions concerning educational conditions, methods and performance. The responses are analyzed by ANOVA and Chi-Square Test in a statistical software package, SPSS. As a result, it shows that the education in Korea is substantially different from that in U.S.A.. In educational condition, in particular, more significant difference between two countries exists in terms of professors than in terms of educational environment. Also educational performance differs between them more in enhancing practical ability of students than in promoting motivation of students.

한국과 일본의 패션마케팅 교육에 관한 비교 연구 (A Comparative Analysis of Fashion Marketing Education between Korea and Japan)

  • Fashion Marketing is gaining more importance as Korean apparel industry undergoes ever-increasing competition and consumer power. As a result, Fashion marketing education come to play a more significant role in university level. This empirical research aims to compare fashion marketing education between Korea and Japan, owing to mail survey to university professors in both countries, regarding educational conditions, methods and performance. The results show that Korean education overall dominates Japanese one in terms of educational methods and performance. But Korea lies behind Japan in some educational conditions, such as class size, industry-university cooperation and age structure of professors, which needs to be improved.

여성 캐릭터 의류 브랜드 구매자의 충동구매에 영향을 미치는 마케팅 요인과 브랜드 이미지에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Marketing Factors and the Brand Image Influencing the Impulse Purchase Tendency of Women Who Buy Character Clothing Brands)

  • The purpose of this study is to (1) investigate on the impulse purchase tendency of women who buy women's character clothing brands and (2) to clarify the relationship between the women's impulse purchase tendency and the marketing factors, and the brand image. The subjects were 203 women in their twenties and thirties who had purchased the women's character clothing brands in last six months living in Seoul. The data were collected by self-administered questionnaire and were analyzed by frequency, percentage, t-test, clustering analysis and MDS(Multi-Dimensional Scale). The results of the study were as follows: (1)66.0% of the women were categorized as the group of high-degree of impulse purchase tendency and 34.0% of the women were identified as the group of low-degree of impulse purchase tendency. (2) In identifying the relationship between the marketing factors and the impulse purchase tendency, the group of the high-degree of impulse purchase tendency was affected by the marketing factors such as new and fashionable products, status of display, advertising and discout selling. (3) Brand image was not statistically significant according to the impulse purchase tendency. As a whole, 'Obzee' was recognized as unique-style and sexy brand, 'Time' and 'Mine' were thought as the reasonable-prince and basic-style brands, 'Deco' were clarified as the intellectual-image brand, and 'Ego' and 'Telegraph' were revealed as high-price-image brands.

의류전문 점포에서 내부마케팅과 내부고객관계관리가 종업원들의 변화에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Apparel Stores' Internal Marketing and Internal Customer Relationship Management on Employees' Attitude toward Change)

  • Due to the recent trend of relationship marketing and characteristics of the apparel retail industry that relys heavily on employees' performance, internal marketing toward the employees gives a critical influence on firms' overall performance. This study is aiming at the factors of internal marketing and relationship management that enhance positive attitude toward change. A survey questionnaire was developed and about two hundreds department store sales staffs working for apparel brands participated in the empirical study. Factor analysis ensured the existence of five aspects of internal marketing: educational training, internal communication, power endorsement, management capability and incentive system. Results indicated that age, marital status, years of employment, position rank, and salary types of salespersons had significant influence on internal marketing factors. Incentive system had significant influence on internal customer relationship management. Internal customer relationship management had significant impact on employees' attitude toward change. Educational training had significant influence on employees' perceived importance of change. Educational training, power endorsement and incentive system affected employees' perceived outcome of change.

유통업자상표 의류제품 구매자의 인구통계학적 특성, 구매동기 및 불만족에 관한 연구 (Study on Demographic Characteristics, Motivation and Dissatisfaction to Purchase of Customers with Private Brand Apparel)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 유통업자상표 의류제품 구매고객의 구매빈도에 따라 분류된 집단간 인 구통계학적 특성, 구매동기, 불만족의 차이를 규명하고자 한다. 연구대상은 만 18세 이상의 여성으로 2개 백화점 9개 점포에서 판매하고 있는 유통업자상 표 여성의류를 구매한 경험이 있는 고객 1,120명이었다. 자료수집은 설문지법을 사용하였으며, 자료분석은 SPSS $PC^+$프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 분산분석, 던컨 검증, $X^2$검증을 이용하였다. 연구결과 유통업자상표 의류제품의 구매빈도가 높은 집단의 특성은 만 18-39세에 주로 분포되어있고, 대학 학력이 많았으며, 직업은 전업주부 및 사무직에 종사하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 월평균 의복지출비 및 월평균 쇼핑지출비로 10-30만원미만 정도를 지출하는 것으로 나타났으며, 월평균 총수입규모는 100-300만원미만에 해당되는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 구매빈도에 따른 집단간 유통업자상표 구매동기를 파악해 본 결과 1-2번 구매집단은 디자인이 마음에 들어서, 3번이상 구매집단에서는 가격에 비해서 품질이 좋아서가 우선 시되는 구매동기로 나타났다. 한편 구매빈도에 따른 집단간 유통업자상표 의류제품 제품구 매시 불만족을 파악한 결과 부분적으로 유의적인 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

국내 의류제품 고객은 가격할인을 기다리며 구매를 늦추는가? (Do Consumers, Buying Apparel Product Postpone Purchase in the Belief of Price Break?)

  • 이 연구는 빈번한 가격할인을 하고 있는 국내 의류시장에서 소비자들이 가격이 떨어질 것을 기대하여 제품의 구입을 늦추는 '가격기대효과'가 실제로 존재하는지 실증적으로 분석하고자 하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 특히, 지금까지의 가격연구에서는 규범적 행태적 서술적 연구 등 각 분야의 영역을 접목시킨 통합적 접근이 미진하여 소비자의 심리적 요인을 가격책정에 반영한 시도가 드물었고 시간의 흐름에 따라 변화 하는 가격과 판매량의 관계를 살피는 동태적 연구가 부족하기 때문에, 규범적 연구와 행태적 연구를 접목시켜 의류제품의 가격기대효과를 밝혀내고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기존의 의류제품에 적합한 동태적인 가격기대효과 모델을 수립하였으며 모델을 검증하기 위하여 국내 백화점의 여성복 판매 데이터를 이용하였다. 분석결과 국내 의류제품을 구매하는 소비자들에게 가격기대효과가 존재한다는 사실을 이론적, 실증적으로 밝혀내었다. 이러한 결과는 패션제품의 가격변화에 따른 소비자들의 독특한 구매행동을 반영한 것으로 기존의 동태적 가격연구의 범위를 넓혔다는데 의의가 있다.
