가톨릭계병원 의학윤리 사례에 따른 교회의 가르침과 신학적 견해

  • 아래의 사례들은 그 동안 가톨릭 계열 병원에서 당면했던 의학 윤리와 관계되는 일들입니다. 병원에서는 스스로 해결하지 못한 문제들을 때로는 윤리 전공하는 신부들에게 문의하기도 했고, 때로는 교회법을 전공하는 신부들 혹은 관구법원에 문의하기도 하였습니다. 그러나 어떤 때는 서로 상반되는 의견도 있어서 어려움을 겪기도 했습니다. 그래서 이번에 10명의 윤리신학 혹은 교회법을 전공한 신부들이 모여 교회 병원내에서 실제 있었던 10가지 사례들을 검토하였고, 이를 기회로 우리 교구에서 교회의 가르침과 신학적으로 통일된 견해르 ㄹ마련하여 교회 병원 실무자들과 신자들에게 널리 알리고자 하여 다음 문건을 마련하였으니 필요하신 대로 활용하시기 바랍니다.

Ethical Issues in the Forth Industrial Revolution and the Enhancement of Bioethics Education in Korean Universities (4차 산업혁명 시대의 윤리적 이슈와 대학의 생명윤리교육 방향 제고)

  • This article explores some of the ethical issues associated with the fourth industrial revolution and suggests new directions for bioethics education in Korean universities. Some countries have recently developed guidelines and regulations based on the legal and ethical considerations of the benefits and social risks of new technologies associated with the fourth industrial revolution. Foreign universities have also created courses (both classroom and online) that deal with these issues and help to ensure that these new technologies are developed in an ethically appropriate fashion. In South Korea too there have been attempts to enhance bioethics education to meet the changing demands of society. However, bioethics education in Korea remains focused on traditional bioethical topics and largely neglects the ethical issues related to emerging technologies. Furthermore, Korean universities offer no online courses in bioethics and the classroom courses that do exist are generally treated as electives. In order to improve bioethics education in Korean universities, we suggest that (a) new course should be developed for interprofessional education; (b) courses in bioethics should be treated as required subjects gradually; (c) online courses should be prepared, and (d) universities should continually revise course contents in response to the development of new technologies.

A Study on the recognition of organ donation of Nursing students in convergence and integration time (융복합 교육시대에 간호대학생의 장기이식 인식에 관한 모색)

  • The purpose of this study was to recognition of organ donation of nursing students in convergence and integration time so was to investigate the relationship between consciousness of biomedical ethics and attitude in organ donation. The participant were 202 nursing students and data were collected from April until July of 2017. Findings showed that consciousness of biomedical ethics wes 2.98 and attitude in organ donation was 2.67, and brain death was lowest at 2.67. The relationship between two variables showed a positive correlation(r=.18, p<.01), and Affecting Factors of consciousness of biomedical ethics was attitude in organ donation, gender, experience of studying for biomedical ethics, and the explanatory power was 9.1%. This result that for promotion of recognition of organ donation, we propose to implementing nursing ethics education focused on brain death and attitude in organ donation.

  • The importance of ethics in research and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly recognized not only in the field of healthcare but throughout society. This article intends to provide domestic readers with practical points regarding the ethical issues of using radiological images for AI research, focusing on data security and privacy protection and the right to data. Therefore, this article refers to related domestic laws and government policies. Data security and privacy protection is a key ethical principle for AI, in which proper de-identification of data is crucial. Sharing healthcare data to develop AI in a way that minimizes business interests is another ethical point to be highlighted. The need for data sharing makes the data security and privacy protection even more important as data sharing increases the risk of data breach.
